Important: Read all instructions prior to installation.

Safety and Notes

• Caution—shock and fire hazard, do not use if the light is damaged.
• Suitable for IC or non-IC installation.
• For indoor use only. Suitable for damp locations—avoid direct contact with water and liquids. Suitable for wet locations when installed in covered ceiling mount only.
• Clean with a soft damp cloth only, do not use chemical cleaners.
• The product should be installed and serviced by a certified electrician in accordance with applicable national, state, and local building and electrical codes.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure that the main power source and circuit breakers are switched off before performing any installation or wiring procedures.
• Ensure the fixture is securely mounted. Failure to properly support the fixture may result in damage or injury, for which the manufacturer does not assume responsibility.

Installation

RETROFIT

1. Switch supply power off.
2. Twist the socket adapter into the socket until securely tightened, then use the provided wire nuts to connect the light wiring to the provided adapter.
3. Ensure wiring stays in the can and bend torsion springs back, placing light into the can. If the can has locking slots or tabs, rotate the light to lock the springs into place.

NON-RETROFIT

1. Switch supply power off.
2. Remove the lens.
3. Connect the light wiring to the supply wire and attach the ground wire to the housing.
4. Attach the light to the junction box.
5. Reinstall the lens and apply a bead of sealant around the housing.

Specifications

Check the product label for specific electrical specifications related to installation.
Improper installation will void the warranty.
