- Identification / recognition

- Immobilisation / stabilisation / lifting
■ Completely immobilize the vehicle
1. Chock the wheels and pull the EPB switch or parking lever to set the parking brake.
2.For automatic vehicles the shift button to the park(P) position.
■ For stabilize vehicle, crib at four points directly under the front and rear pillars using wooden blocks or equivalent objects
JACK/SUPPORT POSITION
Do not place cribbing such as wooden blocks or rescue air lifting bags under the exhaust system, fuel system or high voltage power cables. ■ Access to the battery +
Do one of the following
1)Unlock all doors with the Door Unlock button on remote key or smart key, press the t/gate handle button and open the t/gate
2) Press and hold the t/gate unlock button on the remote key or smart key, press the t/gate handle button and open the t/gate
3) With the smart key in your possession, press the t/gate handle button and open the t/gate
2. Raise luggage tray(2)after raising the luggage board(1)
3. Battery (3)in the rear floor panel.
■ Disabling procedure
– Low voltage battery
– High voltage cable
Pull the release lever to unlatch the hood. The hood should pop open slightly.
Raise the hood slightly, push the secondary latch up (1)inside of the hood center and lift the hood(2)
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the auxiliary 12V battery positive (+) connector (A).
Disconnect the service interlock connector (A). - Access to the occupants

• Risk of missile effect of t/gate
It is recommended to allow the high voltage battery to burn itself out if it is judged that it is difficult to apply copious amounts of water to the high voltage battery.
In this case, protection of the environment from smoke must be managed. - In case of fire
Do not touch any of the high-voltage components or cables including the service plug, as doing so poses an electrocution hazard. Work on the vehicle only after the vehicle has been pulled out of the water. - Towing / transportation / storage

Notice: AWD (All Wheel Drive) vehicle must be towed with all wheels off the ground, either on a flatbed tow truck or using doilies.
