Ipsos MediaLink is a software application designed for Mac OS that allows users to collect and send data from their device. It supports several internet browsers, including Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge (version 79 orhigher).
Installation Guide:
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to install and set upIpsos MediaLink on your Mac OS:
- Click on the link provided via email to begin the installation.
- The link will open in your default browser app (e.g. Safari).
- Wait for the installer to load.
- In the bottom dock, click on ‘Applications’ in the side menu.
- Select ‘Ipsos MediaLink’ from the list.
- Click the ‘menu’ icon (three dots / cogwheel) and click ‘Open’. Repeat this step if necessary to see the ‘Open’ option.
- Ipsos MediaLink will now detect your installed and supported internet browsers.
- If you are using Apple Safari, trust the Apple Safari extension and click ‘Next’ in the setup window.
- If you have Mozilla Firefox installed, trust the Mozilla Firefox extension and click ‘Next’.
- If you have Google Chrome installed, install the Google Chrome extension. Note that you may need to follow a ‘Quick Tip’ on page 9 to make the extension visible. Click ‘Next’ after enabling the extension.
- If you have Microsoft Edge (version 79 or higher) installed, install the Microsoft Edge extension. Please allow extensions from other stores if prompted. Click ‘Finish’ when the Ipsos MediaLink extension is added to Microsoft Edge.
- If you are using a third-party web browser not supported by Ipsos MediaLink, please contact us as this may affect the data collection and sending process.
- If you use Google Chrome, make sure to make the Ipsos MediaLink extension visible. Click on the extensions icon on the right of the address bar, then click on the pin icon next to ‘Ipsos MediaLink’.
- You are all set! In the Ipsos MediaLink app, you can click the ‘Upload’ button to send data. The app can be accessed from the Mac OS Menu Bar or through browser extensions.
