Driving with creativity and deranged ideas, as well as equipping with precise metalworking techniques, it’s our goal to bridge the unconventional ideas into our daily life enjoyment.
/// DESIGNER Irene Yeung, a self-taught designer’s inspirations come from a strong curiosity about art, culture and philosophy. Irene combines raw materials of sheet metal with advanced and professional manufacturing techniques, which she strongly advocates in an age of industrial design. Having many years working experience in sheet metalworking industry, she would like to counteract between art, design and manufacturing. “Bring art & design to daily lives and explore any possibilities beyond boundaries”, she says. Irene develops tableware and decorative pieces that take inspiration from Chinese culture and heritage, landscapes and memory, delivering messages through daily-used items. Irene is working closely with her teammates, and the studio Derangedsign has been recognized by various international design awards.
