Product Information:
The product is a carrier that can be attached to a bike frame.
It is available in two variations: with a mudguard and without a
mudguard. The carrier has adjustable top railings that can be
adjusted to fit different frame sizes. The carrier comes with
screws (M5x16mm) and a carrier adapter for attaching it to the bike
frame and mudguard.
Product Usage Instructions:
Without Mudguard:
- Before every ride, push and pull at the carrier to check if
it’s not loose. Also, check before every ride that all screws are
tightened. - Loosen the screws of the construction of the adjustable top
railings but do not loosen them completely. - Install the upper connection railings to the appropriate
interface of the frame using the attached screws (M5x16mm). - Install the lower end of the carrier to the dropout screw-mount
hole of the frame using the attached screws (M5x16mm). - Adjust the height of the carrier so it fits your wheel size
perfectly. Unscrew the M5x16mm screws from the M5 nuts and set the
carrier at the correct height. - Orient the carrier horizontally and tighten the screws of the
adjustable railing construction. To fit bigger frame sizes
perfectly, the top adjustable railings may have to be cut.
With Mudguard:
- Before every ride, push and pull at the carrier to check if
it’s not loose. Also, check before every ride that all screws are
tightened. - Connect the upper front end of the carrier to the fender by
using the attached carrier adapter. The mudguard needs to be
drilled with a 7mm driller in the middle of the fender profile. The
mudguard needs to be adjusted together with the carrier on the
bike. The drilling position needs to be marked with a pen. - Connect the upper rear end of the carrier to the mudguard by
using the attached carrier adapter. The mudguard needs to be
drilled with a 7mm driller in the middle of the mudguard
profile. - Loosen the screws of the construction of the adjustable top
railings but do not loosen them completely. - Install the upper connection railings to the appropriate
interface of the frame using the attached screws (M5x16mm). - Install the lower end of the carrier to the dropout screw-mount
hole of the frame using the attached screws (M5x16mm). - Adjust the height of the carrier so it fits your wheel size
perfectly. Unscrew the M5x16mm screws from the M5 nuts and set the
carrier at the correct height.

Durch falsche Montage des ACID Universal-Gepäckträgers kann es zu Stürzen mit schweren gesundheitlichen Folgen kommen oder zum Tode führen. Beachten Sie deshalb bitte alle in dieser Bedienungsanleitung gegebenen Sicherheits- und Kontrollhinweise und lassen Sie den Gepäckträger ausschließlich vom autorisierten Fachhändler montieren. Durch eine Überbelastung, ausgelöst durch falsche Bedienung oder Unfälle, kann der ACID Universal-Gepäckträger während der weiteren Nutzung versagen. Dies kann zu schweren Verletzungen und im schlimmsten Fall zum Tode führen. Bitte führen Sie nach einem Unfall alle in Ihrer Fahrradbedienungsanleitung und der Bedienungsanleitung des ACID Universal-Gepäckträgers beschriebenen Kontrollhinweise durch. Erst wenn diese ohne Fehler bestanden sind, können Sie das gesamte Fahrrad weiter bedenkenlos nutzen. Wenden Sie sich im Zweifelsfall immer an Ihren autorisierten Fachhändler.
Prüfen Sie bitte vor jeder Fahrt durch festes Rütteln am Gepäckträger, ob dieser fest sitzt! Kontrollieren Sie auch die Schraubverbindungen auf lose Schrauben!

Incorrect mounting of the ACID universal carrier may cause falls leading to serious health consequences or even death. Therefore, please observe all the safety and checking instructions provided in these directions for use, and only allow an authorised dealer to fit the ACID universal carrier. Incorrect operation or an accident may overstress the ACID universal carrier, causing it to fail during subsequent use. This can lead to serious injury or, in the worst case, to death. Therefore, in the event of an accident, please carry out all the checks described in your bike`s user manual and in the directions for use of your ACID universal carrier. Only once these checks have been correctly carried out may the bike be used again without cause for concern. If in doubt, contact your authorised dealer.
Push and pull at the carrier before every ride to check if the carrier is not loose! Also check before every ride that all screws are tightened!

1. Lösen Sie die Schrauben der Besfestigungen für die oberen Verbindungsstreben. Drehen Sie diese jedoch nicht komplett heraus.

2. Schrauben Sie die oberen Verbindungsstreben an die vorhergesehenen Rahmen-Anschraubpunkte. Verwenden Sie hierzu die mitgelieferten Schrauben M5x16mm.

3. Schrauben Sie die beiden unteren Enden des Gepäckträgers an das Ausfallende des Fahrradrahmens. Verwenden Sie hierzu die Schrauben M5x16mm.

4. Passen Sie die Höhe des Gepäckträgers an die Radgröße ihre Fahrrads an. Lösen Sie hierfür die M5x16mm Schrauben von den M5 Muttern und Schieben Sie anschliend den Gepäckträger in die passende Höhe.
4. Adjust the hight of the carrier so it fits your wheelsize perfectly. Unscrew the M5x16mm screws from the M5 nuts and set the carrier in the correct hight.

5. Richten Sie den Gepäckträger horizontal aus und ziehen Sie alle Schrauben an den oberen Strebenbefestigungen fest. Gegebenenfalls müssen bei großen Rahmengrößen die oberen Einstellstreben gekürzt werden um eine optimale Anpassung an das Rad zu gewährleisten.
5. Orient the carrier horizontal and tighten the screws of the adjustable railing construction. To fit bigger frame sizes perfectly the top adjustable railings may have to be cut.

1. Verbinden Sie das obere vordere Teil des Gepäckträgers mit Hilfe des mitgelieferten Adapters (siehe Übersicht!) mit dem Schutzblech. Hierzu muss ein Loch mit 7mm Druchmesser in das Schutzblech gebohrt werden. Mittigkeit der Bohrung beachten! Das Schutzblech muss hierfür entsprechend im voraus mit dem Gepäckträger auf dem Rad ausgerichtet werden. Den Bohrpunkt mit einem Stift markieren!
1. Connect the upper front end of the carrier to the fender by using the attached carrier adapter (please see overview!). The mudguard needs to be drilled with a 7mm driller. Keep attention that the position of the drilled hole is in the middle of the fender profile! The mudguard needs to be adjusted togehter with the carrier on the bike. The drilling position needs to be marked with a pen!
