Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble-free performance.

SAFETY
Inspect the goggles frequently as a pitted or scratched face shield reduces vision and should be replaced immediately.
X DO NOT use if any part of the goggles is cracked or broken.
X DO NOT place this product on a hot surface. Ensure that the goggles are in place before entering the hazard area.
INTRODUCTION
Shade 5 deluxe welding lens with indirect ventilation in the goggle frame. Suitable for gas welding. Conforms to EN 175 & EN 169.

ASSEMBLY
NOTE: It is imperative that the goggles fit well and comfortably for the user or else slippage and discomfort may arise.
4.1. Adjust the headband by pulling/loosening the headband through the buckle.
USE
5.1. Ensure goggles fit comfortably over the eyes. Protection will only be offered if the goggles are fitted correctly.
5.2. The frame when in contact with the skin may cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals. If this is the case doctor’s advice should be consulted.
X DO NOT apply paint, solvents, adhesives, or self-adhesive labels except in accordance with the manufacturer.
5.3. The housings of these eye protectors provide less protection against impact than the lens.
5.4. These goggles may transmit impacts to eyewear enclosed by the goggles.
CLEANING & DISINFECTION
6.1. Rinse in 1% solution of mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth.
X DO NOT use abrasive cleaners
MAINTENANCE
7.1. The goggles should be periodically inspected and cleaned.
7.2. If the lens becomes damaged or scratched the goggles should be replaced.
STORAGE
8.1. Store in a bag or case out of direct sunlight, away from chemicals, away from hard and abrasive substances, in a clean dust free environment.
Use the original bag for transportation if possible.
SHELF LIFE/EXPIRY DATE
9.1. Under normal circumstances the goggles should offer adequate protection for 5 years.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories, and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling center, and disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.

Warranty: The guarantee is 12 months from the purchase date, proof of which is required for any claim.
