• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and mechanical pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.
  Not meant for children. The product is not a toy!
• Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use. The lamps are not replaceable.
• Do not look directly into the LEDs.
• Do not attach any objects to the light chain. No part of the product may come into contact with a flame or heat source.
• Do not operate the light chain in its packaging.
• Install the product so that no persons or property can be injured or damaged, e.g. by falling, tripping or the like.
• Make sure that the cables hang loosely and are not overly taut. Otherwise there is a risk of cable breakage.

2 Description and function

2.1 Product
The product is a decorative LED light chain that is wound on a wooden yarn spool. The light chain is supplied with power via a USB cable and can be switched on and off with the integrated rocker switch.

Intended use

This product is intended exclusively for private use and its intended purpose. This product is not intended for commercial use. We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property. IP20: This product is protected against medium sized foreign objects, but not against water ingress.

Preparation

• Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
• Compare the specifications of all used devices to ensure compatibility.

Connection and operation

5.1 Connection

Material damage due to incorrect power supply and handling

• Only use a suitable charging adapter (output: 5 V, 1 A max.) and do not overload the LED light chain.
• Do not hang the light chain near sharp or flammable objects.
• Make sure that the cables hang loosely and are not overly taut.

You can choose to operate the LED light chain wound on the yarn spool or unwind it and hang it up.

1. Place the yarn spool (1) on a flat and non-slip surface. Make sure that the yarn spool is placed in such a way that it cannot roll down.
2. Hang the LED light chain (2) as desired.
3. Connect the USB-A plug (4) to an easily accessible USB power source. For example, this can be a USB charging adapter or the USB socket of a PC. The product is now ready for use.

5.2 Switching on and off

• Press the rocker switch (3) to switch on the LED light chain.
• Press the rocker switch in the other direction to switch off the LED light chain.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation

The product is maintenance-free.

• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute the environment. 7.2 Packaging
