Blind Mating Mobile Charging Connector
Product Information
The Blind Mating Mobile Charging Connector by TE Connectivity is
designed for use with smaller mobile robots and autonomous vehicles
in warehouse environments. These connectors are commonly used in
warehouse automation for material handling tasks such as picking,
movement, storage, and sorting. The charging connector is available
in two and three power contact options, and it also offers up to
eight signal contacts to simplify installation and rework cycle
times.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the mobile robot or autonomous vehicle is powered
off before attempting to connect or disconnect the charging
connector. - Locate the charging port on the robot or vehicle. It is
typically labeled and can be found in a visible and accessible
location. - Align the blind mating mobile charging connector with the
charging port. - Gently insert the connector into the port, ensuring a secure
fit. Do not force the connector if it does not go in smoothly. - Once the connector is fully inserted, you may hear a click
indicating that it is locked in place. Verify that the connector is
securely connected. - To disconnect the charging connector, press any release
mechanisms (if present) and gently pull the connector out of the
port. - When not in use, keep the charging connector in a safe and dry
location to prevent damage.
