12000 BTU Compact Window Mounting

Product Information:

The product is a compact window-mounted air conditioner with a
cooling capacity ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 BTU. It is designed
for window installation only. Before installing the unit, it is
important to carefully read the installation manual and pay
attention to the provided danger and safety notices. The unit
should be handled with care during installation and inspection of
the installation location.

The package includes top rail hardware, mounting hardware,
weather stripping, and window sash seal foam. The top rail may
already be installed on the unit, but if not, it needs to be
assembled before installation.

For proper installation, it is necessary to assemble the left
and right filler panels. These panels are offset to provide the
proper pitch to the rear for condensed water utilization and
drainage. If the side panels are not used, the pitch to the rear
must still be maintained. The unit should be placed on the floor, a
bench, or a table during installation.

The air conditioner is designed to be installed in standard
double-hung windows with opening widths of 25 to 36 inches. The
lower sash of the window must open sufficiently to allow a clear
vertical opening of 15-1/2 inches. Clear air space is required
around the side louvers and the rear of the unit to ensure proper
airflow for heat removal. The rear of the unit should be outdoors,
not inside a building or garage. There should be at least 11.8
inches of clearance around the unit.

If the air conditioner has an electric heater, it should have at
least 1 meter of space from combustible materials.

Product Usage Instructions:

Read the installation manual and familiarize yourself with the
installation instructions and safety precautions.
Inspect the location where the air conditioner will be
installed, ensuring it meets the requirements for window
mounting.
If the top rail is not already installed, assemble it on the
unit following the provided instructions.
Assemble the left and right filler panels. Hold one panel in
hand, gently pull back the center to free the open end, and slide
the free end T section of the panel directly into the cabinet.
Slide the panel down, leaving enough space to slip the top and
bottom of the frame into the rails on the cabinet. Make sure the
panel sits securely inside the frame channel and slide the top and
bottom ends of the frame into the top and bottom rails of the
cabinet. Repeat on the other side.
Measure the window opening width to ensure it falls within the
range of 25 to 36 inches. The lower sash must open sufficiently to
allow a clear vertical opening of 15-1/2 inches.
Ensure clear air space around the side louvers and rear of the
unit for proper airflow. The rear of the unit should be outdoors,
and there should be at least 11.8 inches of clearance around the
unit.
If the air conditioner has an electric heater, ensure it has at
least 1 meter of space from combustible materials.

NOTE: Top Rail and Side Panels at each side are offset to provide the proper pitch to the rear of (5/16″). This is necessary for proper condensed water utilization and drainage. If you are not using the Side Panels for any reason, this pitch to the rear must be maintained!
Place unit on floor, a bench or a table. There is a Left and Right side Filler Panels – be sure to use the proper panel for each side. When installed, the flange for securing the panel in place to the window sill will be facing into the room. A. Hold the side Panel in one hand and gently pull back the center to free the open end. See FIG. 1.

B. Slide the free end “T” section of the panel directly into the cabinet as shown in FIG. 2. Slide the panel down. Be sure to leave enough space to slip the top and bottom of the frame into the rails on the cabinet.

C. Once the panel has been installed on the side of the cabinet, make sure it sits securely inside the frame channel by

making slight adjustments. Slide the top and bottom ends of the frame into the top and bottom rails of the cabinet. See

D. Slide the panel all the way in and repeat on the other side.

Your air conditioner is designed to install in standard double hung windows with opening widths of 25 to 36 inches (635mm to 914 mm) (FIG. 4A & FIG. 4B) Lower sash must open sufficiently to allow a clear vertical opening of 15-1/2 inches (394 mm ).

Side louvers and the rear of the air conditioner must have clear air space to allow enough airflow through the condenser, for heat removal. The rear of the unit must be outdoors, not inside a building or garage. There should be at least 11.8 inches (300mm) clearance around the unit. See FIG. 4C & FIG. 4D.

Antes de comenzar la instalación, el raíl superior debe ensamblarse en el equipo. A. Saque el equipo de aire acondicionado de su embalaje y colóquelo sobre una superficie plana.

B. Extraiga el raíl superior de la parte trasera del embalaje, tal como se muestra en la Fig. A C. Alinee los agujeros del raíl superior con los de la parte superior de la carcasa del equipo tal como se muestra en la Fig. B D. Asegure el raíl superior a la carcasa con los tornillos de 3/8″ tal como se muestra en la Fig. C

MONTAJE DEL PANEL DE RELLENO IZQUIERDO Y DERECHO

NOTA: El raíl superior y los paneles laterales a cada lado se compensan para proporcionar el espacio necesario a la parte trasera de (5/16″). Esto es necesario para el adecuado tratamiento y drenaje del agua condensada. ¡Si no usa los paneles laterales por alguna razón, debe mantener este espacio hasta la parte trasera!

Ponga la unidad sobre el suelo, un banco o una mesa de trabajo. Existen diferentes paneles para los lados derecho e izquierdo – asegúrese de ubicar cada uno en el lado correspondiente. Una vez instalado, la pestaña para asegurar el panel al antepecho de la ventana quedará de cara a la estancia.

A. Agarre el panel lateral con una mano y tire suavemente del centro para liberar el extremo abierto. Vea FIG. 1.

B. Deslice el extremo en forma de “T” del panel directamente en la carcasa como muestra la FIG. 2. Deslice el panel

hacia abajo. Asegúrese de dejar suficiente espacio para que entren la parte superior e inferior del marco en los

raíles de la carcasa.

C. Una vez que el panel haya sido instalado en el lateral de la carcasa, compruebe que está firmemente asentado en

el canal haciendo pequeños ajustes. Deslice los extremos superior e inferior del marco en los raíles superior e

inferior de la carcasa. Vea la FIG. 3.

D. Extienda el panel a todo lo largo y repita el proceso en el otro lado.

Raíl inferior Su aparato de aire acondicionado está diseñado para ser instalado en ventanas de guillotina doble con aperturas de entre 25 y 36 pulgadas (de 635 mm a 914 mm) (FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B).
La hoja inferior de la ventana debe abrirse lo suficiente para alcanzar una apertura vertical de 15-1/2 pulgadas (394 mm).

Los listones laterales y la parte posterior del aparato de aire acondicionado deben tener suficiente espacio libre como para permitir la circulación de aire a través del condensador, para disipar el calor. La parte posterior de la unidad debe dar al exterior, no dentro de un edificio o un estacionamiento. Debería haber una distancia de 11.8 pulgadas (300 mm)

Les climatiseurs couverts dans ce manuel posent un risque de poids excessif. Deux personnes ou plus sont nécessaires pour déplacer et installer l’unité. Portez des gants de protection à chaque fois que vous soulevez ou portez l’unité. ÉVITEZ les ailettes métalliques tranchantes sur les serpentins avant et arrière. Pour empêcher les blessures ou les tensions, utilisez des techniques appropriées pour soulever et porter lors du déplacement de l’unité.
Inspectez avec précaution l’emplacement d’installation du climatiseur. Assurez-vous qu’il supportera le poids de l’unité pendant un période prolongée.
Manipulez le climatiseur avec précaution.
Assurez-vous que le climatiseur ne tombe pas durant l’installation.

CONSERVEZ LE CARTON et ces INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION pour future référence. Le carton est le meilleur moyen de stocker l’unité durant l’hiver, ou lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée. N’UTILISEZ QUE LES VIS SPÉCIFIÉES ICI. OÙ APPLICABLE, LE RAIL SUPÉRIEUR DOIT ÊTRE FERMEMENT ATTACHÉ AVEC LES QUATRE (4) VIS POUR DES RAISONS DE SÉCURITÉ .

Avant l’installation, le rail supérieur doit être assemblé sur l’unité. A. Retirez le climatiseur du carton et placez-le sur une surface plane.
B. Retirez le rail supérieur de l’arrière du matériel d’emballage comme indiqué dans la Fig. A C. Alignez les trous dans le rail supérieur avec ceux en haut de l’unité comme illustré dans la Fig. B

Installation

ASSEMBLAGE DE BOUCLIERS GAUCHE ET DROIT

REMARQUE: le rail supérieur et les panneaux latéraux sur chaque côté sont décalés pour fournir le degré

approprié à l’arrière de (5/16″). Ceci est nécessaire pour l’utilisation et le drainage d’eau condensée appropriées.

Si vous n’utilisez pas les panneaux latéraux pour une raison quelconque, ce degré à l’arrière doit être maintenu!

Placez l’unité sur le sol, un banc ou une table. Il y a des boucliers latéraux gauche et droit assurez-vous

d’utiliser le panneau approprié pour chaque côté. Une fois installée, la bride pour sécuriser le panneau en

place sur le rebord de la fenêtre fera face à la pièce.

A. Maintenez le panneau latéral avec une main et tirez doucement le ventre vers l’arrière pour libérer l’extrémité

ouverte. Voir la FIG. 1.

B. Glissez la section “T” à extrémité libre du panneau directement dans le boîtier comme indiqué dans la FIG. 2.

Glissez le panneau vers le bas. Assurez-vous de laisser assez d’espace pour glisser le haut et le bas du cadre

dans les rails du boîtier.

C. Une fois le panneau installé sur le côté du boîtier, assurez-vous qu’il est fixe à l’intérieur du canal du cadre en

effectuant de légers ajustements. Glissez les extrémités supérieure et inférieure du cadre dans les rails supérieur

et inférieur du boîtier. Voir la FIG. 3.

D. Glissez le panneau entièrement à l’intérieur et répétez sur l’autre côté.

Rail inférieur Votre climatiseur est conçu pour être installé dans des fenêtres à guillotine à deux châssis mobiles standard avec
des largeurs d’ouverture de 635 mm à 914 mm (25 à 36 pouces) (FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B). La guillotine inférieure doit s’ouvrir suffisamment pour permettre une ouverture verticale dégagée de 394 mm (15-1/2 pouces).

Les évents latéraux et l’arrière du climatiseur doivent avoir un espace d’air dégagé pour permettre assez de flux d’air à travers le condensateur, pour la suppression de chaleur. L’arrière de l’unité doit être en extérieur, et pas à l’intérieur d’un bâtiment ou garage. Il doit y avoir au moins 11,8 pouces (300 mm) d’espace autour de l’appareil. Voir la FIG. 4C & FIG. 4D.
