SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all the instructions and safety instructions carefully before use and save them for future reference.

• The product is not a toy.
• The product is intended for decorative use indoors only.
• Do not leave the product unattended when it is switched on.
• To prevent derailing, place the track on a hard, level surface and make sure that all moving parts are unobstructed.
• Inspect the product and the track each time before use. Do not use the product if it is cracked or any parts are missing or damaged. Discard the product if it is damaged.
• Only use the product with the track provided.
• The product must be assembled by an adult and may only be used under the supervision of an adult.
• The product runs anticlockwise only.

WARNING!

• Never modify the product in any way.
• The product has sharp edges and parts.

BATTERY

Failure to handle the battery carefully can cause fluid to leak from the battery. Battery fluid can cause skin irritation and/or burns. Avoid battery leakage.

• Remove the batteries when the product is not in use.
• Do not attempt to charge nonrechargeable batteries.
• Batteries may only be used, replaced and/ or charged under the supervision of an adult.
• Do not mix alkaline batteries with ordinary batteries or rechargeable batteries (NiCd).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Only use batteries, a battery charger and/ or mains adapter of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
• Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
  Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Take out old batteries. Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
• Do not burn batteries – risk of explosion and/or leakage.
• Batteries and chargers are not toys. Store them out of the reach of children.

ASSEMBLY

INSERTING THE BATTERY

• Undo the battery cover screws on the engine with a screwdriver (sold separately).
• Insert 4 AA batteries with the correct polarity as shown on the label.
• Replace the battery cover. FIG. 2

TRAIN TRACK, ENGINE, PASSENGER CARRIAGE

• Assemble the 13 track sections. FIG. 3
•  Place the carriages and engine on the track. Couple them together as illustrated. FIG. 4
• Make sure that all the wheels are on the track. FIG. 5

The on/off switch is at the bottom right on the rear of the engine.
