- Set your volume control at a low setting, then slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfortably without distortion, or ear discomfort

- Do not turn up the volume so high that you can’t hear what’s around you

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
WARNING – Always consult a professional installer
- Do not attempt to install or service this product by yourself. Installation or servicing of this product by persons without professional training and experience in electronic equipment and motorized vehicle accessories may be dangerous and could expose you to the risk of electric shock, injury or other hazards
- Refer any repairs to a qualified BOSS AUDIO SYSTEMS Service Center
- The BRRC27 should be hard wired directly to the main vehicle battery
- When wiring directly to the vehicle’s battery, be sure to disconnect the batteries negative terminal wire before starting any wiring procedures
- The ground cable length should be short as possible (See wiring diagram)
- The BRRC27 has a weather-resistant design, it should not be under any circumstances submerged in, or underwater
- Use only the supplied installation parts provided with the BRRC27
- Wash with a mild detergent and lukewarm water using a clean sponge or a soft cloth
- Rinse well with clean water “DO NOT’S” – Very Important
- Don’t clean in hot sun or on very hot days
- Don’t use abrasive or highly alkaline cleaners on the main body
- Don’t scrape the main body with razor blades, or other sharp instruments
- Don’t ever use, gasoline, acetone or carbon tetrachloride
- Don’t ever use a pressure washer aimed at the speakers

GETTING STARTED
- MFC – MULTIFUNCTION CONTROLLER
- DOME LIGHT ON/OFF – (Auto 10 minute timer when MFC ACC is turned OFF)
- POWER ON – Press and hold for 3 seconds
- EQ – EQ1 | EQ2 | EQ3 | FLAT – EQ1 Default Press and hold for 3 seconds
- NEXT TRACK – FF press and hold
- PLAY/PAUSE – AUX MUTE
- BLUETOOTH PAIRING INDICATOR LED – BLUE / AUX RED COLOR
- PREVIOUS TRACK – FR press and hold
- VOLUME DOWN – Ramp DOWN press and hold
- VOLUME UP – Ramp UP press and hold
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
PAIRING & DISCOVERING A NEW BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
- Power on the MFC by long-pressing the 3 Power button for 3 seconds, long-press the 6 Bluetooth button for 3 seconds, the BLUE LED will start to rapidly flash, signalling that the MFC is now ready for Bluetooth pairing
NOTE: You have 2 minutes before you must restart this procedure over again. - The MFC is now in pairing mode:
ANDROID users:- Go into the Settings Menu of your device
- Enter the Bluetooth Menu
- TURN ON Bluetooth and press SCAN
- “BOSS REBEL UTV” will now be displayed under AVAILABLE DEVICES
- If prompted, enter passcode: “0000” iOS users:
- Go into the Settings Menu of your iOS device
- Enter the Bluetooth Menu
- TURN ON Bluetooth
- “BOSS REBEL UTV” will now be displayed
- If prompted, enter passcode: “0000”
- If BOSS REBEL UTV is not seen, repeat the above steps to refresh the “Device List”
- When the connection is successful a tone will be heard, and the Bluetooth LED indicator will light solid, you are now ready to stream music from your favorite media player to the MFC

RECONNECTION
- Power on the MFC and your last paired device Bluetooth.
- Ensure you are within range of the MFC, the unit will now automatically reconnect
- If the device is out of range from the MFC, it will disconnect automatically:
- The MFC will reconnect automatically to your device when in range
- If your device was previously paired with the MFC, but it wasn’t the last paired device:
- Ensure no other devices are currently paired
- Enter the Bluetooth Menu on your device being paired
- “BOSS REBEL UTV” will display under AVAILABLE DEVICES
- Choose the “BOSS REBEL UTV” to reconnect
- To clear all previously paired devices from memory, press and hold the MFC Bluetooth button for 10 seconds
NOTE: Some devices may require a manual Bluetooth reconnection once the devices Bluetooth is powered OFF / ON and/or back in range, repress the BOSS REBEL UTV button in BLUETOOTH settings on your device
TIPS
Using this product without running the engine can drain the battery. To avoid battery exhaustion, be sure to occasionally run the vehicle’s engine while using this product.
STREAMING MUSIC
MULTIFUNCTION CONTROLLER BLUETOOTH OPERATION
- Press the 5 PLAY/PAUSE once to start playing music or press the PLAY button from your devices touch screen
- To skip songs or advance, press the 4 NEXT TRACK button
- To select the previous song, press the 7 PREVIOUS TRACK button VOLUME CONTROL
- To raise the volume press the 9 VOLUME UP button or use your device’s controls
- To lower the volume press the 8 VOLUME DOWN button or use your device’s controls
NOTE: If BLUETOOTH or AUX is disconnected for more than 10 minutes the MFC will automatically turn OFF, however, when not in use the ACC switch should be manually turned OFF to keep the vehicles main battery from draining
Make sure your device’s Bluetooth volume is set at 100% level before stowing your device.
AUX-INPUT
MULTIFUNCTION CONTROLLER AUX-IN OPERATION
- Power on the MFC by pressing and holding down the 3 POWER button for 3 seconds
- Disconnect any paired Bluetooth device by turning off Bluetooth in your devices Settings Menu
- Connect your 3.5mm AUX-IN cable located on front side of the MFC to your devices headphone jack
- Route the wire back to MFC, secure your device in a safe location VOLUME CONTROL
- To raise the volume press the 9 VOLUME UP button
- To lower the volume press the 8 VOLUME DOWN button
- To MUTE the volume press the 5 PLAY/PAUSE button
BEFORE YOU START THE INSTALLATION
To avoid potential shorts in the electrical system, be sure to disconnect the (–) battery cable before installation. Use this unit with a 12-Volt battery and negative grounding only. Failure to do so may result in a fire or malfunction.
When replacing the fuse, be sure to only use a fuse of the rating specified on this product. To avoid short-circuiting, cover any disconnected leads with insulating tape. It is especially important to insulate any unused wires, which if left uncovered may cause a short circuit. When connecting other devices to this product, refer to the manual for the product to be connected. The black cable is ground, make sure to connect the ground wire first. Ensure that the ground wire is properly connected to metal parts of the vehicles body frame or direct to the battery if your vehicle does not have a grounded chassis frame The ground wire of this units power amp and a second powered system must be connected to the frame separately with different screws. If the screw for the ground wire loosens or falls out, it could result in fire or malfunction.
NOTE! – Hand saw or Jigsaw
To conserve battery life, the LED Dome light will automatically turn off after 10 minutes when MFC ACC is turned OFF
MOUNTING THE SOUNDBAR
INSTALLATION PARTS
- Determine the size rollbar for your vehicle, install rubber bushings on rollbar
- Insert and align notch of rubber bushings into the aluminum brackets
- Apply supplied Loc-Tight to allen bolt tips, let dry for 20 minutes, then align the allen bolts and T-nuts into the T-channel, firmly tighten
- Recheck all allen bolts are tight, ensure T-nut’s are properly seated in the T-channel correctly
CAUTION!!
Mounting brackets should be periodically checked to be sure they are tight and secure before use of the vehicle.

The sound bar takes up the whole roll bar. Any suggestions on where to mount a rerview mirror and/ or what kind or brand

Mine is on the Roll Bar behind me. I would never move it to the front bar for safety reasons in my eyes..

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the “controller/dome light”?
The controller is 3 5/8″L x 3 5/8″W x 1-3/8″H. The dome light stretches the length of the sound bar is about 1/2″ wide

For the mounting of the controller, it is users preference
Will this bar work with a am/fm stereo receiver?
If your AM/FM stereo receiver features an auxiliary output you can connect to the BRRC27.
What are the expanding options?
The BRRC27 features a 2V Pre-Amp output to connect multiple sound bar systems together.
How does this sound bar connect to the head unit using the rca jacks? i tried to do it and it will not play. i had is powered up but was unable to work.
It’s not meant to be run by a headunit. It is a sort of head unit, it drives the Bluetooth and aux input for it internal amplified speaker housing. You could run rca to 1.5 jack and plug that into the unit. This will work but kind of an odd choice.
Or use this as your head unit by attaching you phone or iPod then you can connect another amp and speakers out of the audio RCA set out from this unit… think you’re trying to make it do something it’s not really meant to do
