Can you watch a DVD at 1.5 speed with sound?
no.
Mine won’t be Blu-ray discs, anybody knows why/how to fix? DVDs play fine?
The Laser head is defective. return to the vendor for a replacement.
has anyone else had problems loading a DVD i keep getting no disc response?
Yep, EVERY DVD SAYS NO DISC AND MOST BLU RAY SAYS DISC TYPE INCOMPATIBLE. A real piece of crap this player.
Is my DMP bd75 compatible with amazon prime?
If you are referring to streaming video, I don’t believe it is compatible. Panasonic uses Viera Cast to connect with amazon which this player does not feature.
Can i connect to download and watch Amazon Prime movies?
No, it does not. It only has Netflix, Vudu, and CinemaNow. The latest firmware update removed Napster.

I’ve connected via Ethernet cable but it does not read that it is connected. Other devices connected work fine. Any suggestions?
Test the ethernet cable or try a different port on your router/switch, it may be a dead cable or port. Or you may need to configure in menu.
I am so frustrated. I have this player and it will not let me connect to my wifi so that I can get netflix. How do I do this?
This is not a wifi player, only Ethernet (cable).
I connected my player to my TV using an HDMI cable. However, when I try to play a DVD there is no audio. Video works fine, as does CD audio. Why?
First, select MENU for the player. Make sure the DVD player is outputting audio to the HDMI cable not the ‘other’ outputs like Composite.
Second, on your TV… select he correct input for HDMI (try HDMI 2 or 3 for example). If the video is still on the TV but no sound, check the HDMI cable itself. Some older cables were first generation HDMI and might have a problem with newer TV’s. I experienced this problem with a computer system and HDMI to monitor connection myself. Very frustrating, but once corrected with a new HDMI cable it worked fine. That’s all it was in my case.
Third – use a ‘regular’ commercial movie DVD (not BluRay) and see if it works. If it does, then your unit is probably faulty and should be returned or replaced.
