97-158 Tensioner Cover
Tensioner Cover 97-158 (Black) 97-157 (Polished)
Works ONLY with Gates 38163 tensioner.
The cover is to be installed after the belt has been installed and fully tensioned.
Assembly:
Step one: Turn the threaded retainer as shown and insert it behind the tensioner arm.
Step two: Rotate the retainer clockwise until the square key locates in the tensioner opening.
Step three: While holding the retainer, position the cover and start the lower M3 screw. Follow by installing the upper M3 screw.
Step four: Torque each screw to 9 in-lbs while centering the top screw head in the opening.
