Product Information

The ProLine G2 Plinth Bases are external components designed to be installed under an enclosure. They provide space for cables to enter from below.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the ProLine G2 Plinth Bases, follow these steps:

Choose the appropriate plinth base size based on the width and
depth of your enclosure.
Ensure that the plinth base fits the frame width and depth specified in the specifications table.
Install the plinth base under the enclosure, aligning it properly.
Make sure there is enough space for cables to enter from below.
Securely fasten the plinth base to the enclosure using suitable hardware.
Verify that the plinth base is properly installed and provides the desired space for cable entry.

ProLine G2 Plinth Bases install under an enclosure to provide space for cables to enter from below.

Features

Four access panels for cable management options at the base of the enclosure
Sturdy cast aluminum corner supports for superior performance under load
Corner blocks can be installed onto the base of the frame independent of the cover plates, enabling the cover plates to be attached after integration and just prior to shipment.

VENtEd PLINth BasE COVERs

The Vented Plinth Base Covers replace the traditional solid plinth base covers that mount width-wise across the front and rear of the enclosure. Vented covers allow air to enter the enclosure from below, and are used in conjunction with the Vented Gland Plate.

PLINth BasE mOuNtING BRaCkEt kIt

The Plinth Base Mounting Bracket Kit secures to the cast aluminum corner blocks of the standard Plinth Base. The bracket kit serves two functions: the first function is to facilitate floor mounting, and the second is to run a grid network for cable management.

Previously, it was challenging to secure an enclosure to the floor, but with the bracket kit the mounting holes are now easily accessible from inside the cabinet after gland plate removal. Grid straps can also now be mounted to the Plinth Base Mounting Bracket Kit to secure cables entering or leaving the cabinet through the base. Grid Straps and Plinth Base are sold separately. The brackets are constructed from a 10-gauge (3.0 mm) steel, and finished in RAL 9005, matte black.

PLINTH BASE STACKING KIT

These covers are RAL 9005 black, polyester powder paint, and include all necessary mounting hardware.
Please note that a standard 100mm Solid Plinth Base must be ordered separately, as Vented Plinth Base Covers are replacements for the front and rear covers only. Vented Gland Plate also sold separately, but required for successful air passage.

Standard Product

The Plinth Base Stacking Kit is used to stack plinth bases up to 400 mm high. Kit consists of eight bolts and nuts and eight each of two types of washers.
