Cleaning Guidelines for Keurig K Cup Brewers
Product Information:
The product is a coffee maker that requires regular cleaning to
maintain its quality. It is recommended to use one cleaning pod
after every 30 cups or after making flavored beverages/tea. The
user manual suggests cleaning the appliance at least once a month.
The estimated time for cleaning is 5-10 minutes. The usage
instructions differ for all brewers except the mini range and the
mini range.
Product Usage Instructions:
For all brewers except Mini Ranges:
- Ensure that the water reservoir is full and place a large
container under the brew spout. - Lift the handle and insert the cleaning pod in the pod holder.
Lower the handle and press the smallest brew button or use the
COCOA/OTHER button to brew. - Lift the handle and remove the cleaning pod. Be cautious as the
cleaning solution will be hot. Do not drink it! - Lower the handle and wait for 1 minute.
- Press the large brew button or water brew to rinse.
- Open and lower the handle, press the large brew button or water
brew to rinse again. - Discard the solution or use it to soak the drip tray for 10
minutes, then rinse off. - To clean the water entry and exit needles, use a thin sharp
object (like a needle) after using the cleaning pod and before
rinsing.
For Mini Ranges:
- Power on the brewer and place a large mug under the brew
spout. - Fill 6 fl oz of water into the water compartment.
- Lift the handle and insert the cleaning pod in the pod
holder. - Lower the handle and press the brew button and wait for the
cycle to complete. - Lift the handle and remove the cleaning pod. Be cautious as the
cleaning solution will be hot. Do not drink it! - To rinse, lower the handle and fill the water compartment to
max or 10 fl oz. - Lift the handle, ensure the pod holder is empty, lower the
handle, and press the brew button to rinse and wait for the cycle
to complete. - Repeat the rinsing procedure in steps 5-6.
- Discard the solution or use it to soak the drip tray for 10
minutes, then rinse off. - Some mini coffee makers may require you to lift and lower the
handle first to fill the water compartment.

TIP: From time to time, it is recommended to clean the water entry and exit needles using a thin sharp object (i.e. needle or similar object). Most effective after use of cleaning pod and before rinsing.

6.
Lift handle; ensure pod holder is empty. Lower handle. Press brew button to rinse and wait
for the cycle to complete.
7.
Repeat rinsing procedure steps 5-6.
8.
Discard solution or even better, use solution to soak drip tray for 10 minutes, then rinse off.
**Some Mini Coffee Makers may require you to lift and lower handle first to fill water compartment.

pendant 10 minutes, puis rincez.
CONSEIL : De temps en temps, il est recommandé de nettoyer les pointes d’entrée et de sortie d’eau à l’aide d’un objet fin et pointu (par exemple, une aiguille ou un objet similaire). Le nettoyage est plus efficace après l’utilisation de la capsule de nettoyage et avant le rinçage.

poignée. Appuyez sur le bouton de d’infusion pour rincer et attendez que le cycle se termine.
7.
Répétez la procédure de rinçage des étapes 5 et 6.
8.
Jetez la solution ou, mieux encore, utilisez la solution pour faire tremper le bac d’égouttage
pendant 10 minutes, puis rincez.
**Pour certaines mini-cafetières, il faut d’abord soulever puis abaisser la poignée pour remplir le compartiment à eau.
