Proper placement of the speakers is an important step in obtaining the most realistic soundstage possible. These recommendations are for the optimum placement of the loud speakers. Use these placement recommendations as a guide. Slight variations will not diminish your listening pleasure. The front speakers should be placed the same distance from each other as they are from the listening position. They should be placed at about the same height from the floor as the listeners ears will be, with the tweeters aimed toward the listener at ear-level height. In a home theater configuration, the two surround, speakers should be placed slightly behind the listening position and ideally should face each other and be at a level higher than the listeners ears. If that is not possible, they may be placed in a wall (or in the ceiling) behind the listening position, facing forword. The surround speakers should not call attention to themselves. They should provide a diffuse, ambient sound accompanying the main program material heard in the front speakers. In Dolby*Digital and DTS systems, aim the tweeters toward the listening position at ear-level height.

Speaker Power Supply Connection:

The active speaker features the power supply for the speaker system. You may choose to use the included power supply adapter to connect directly into the active speaker’s power supply input. *Optional power supply connection can be made by directly ‘hard-wiring’ power supply cables to the speaker’s power supply screw terminal post — as pictured, also located on the active speaker.Pyle-PDICBT87-In-wall-In-ceiling-2-Way-Speaker-System-FIG-3

Speaker Connection (Active-to-Passive)Pyle-PDICBT87-In-wall-In-ceiling-2-Way-Speaker-System-FIG-4

Create the daisy-chain style speaker connection to allow speaker-to-speaker audio communication output. The included speaker wire is used to connect the active speaker to the passive speaker. Ensure proper speaker connection wiring between the speakers.

FAQs

How are the Pyle PDICBT87 Bluetooth ceiling speakers powered?

No, ceiling speakers normally perform as passive speakers, which means they are driven by speaker wires connected to an external amplifier because they lack inbuilt amplifiers. To do this, the binding posts on the amplifier are linked to each ceiling speaker.

Do the Pyle PDICBT87 Bluetooth ceiling speakers require an electrical outlet?

As a result, they are not required to be wired into a power source. All that’s needed for them to function is a connection to a power-supply-capable receiver or amplifier.

How can I link my TV to my Pyle PDICBT87 ceiling speakers?

Right now, it’ll probably be a digital optical output. By putting in an analogue wire from your TV to the amplifier and switching to line output on your TV, you may enjoy TV sound through your ceiling speaker system.

Need a power supply for Pyle PDICBT87 Bluetooth speakers?

Smart home speakers and Bluetooth speakers are always on since they need power for their additional features. Unless you’re curious, you can just connect your active speakers to your audio source, plug them into a power outlet (or utilise the internal batteries), and stop reading here if you have them.

Why is my Pyle Bluetooth not working?

It might be necessary to unpair the speaker before fixing it with your device. Ensure that the Bluetooth Speaker is turned ON before beginning the connecting process.

What do the speakers on the ceiling link to?

To power all of the ceiling speakers, an external amplifier must be connected via speaker cable to each one of them.

Do the Pyle PDICBT87 ceiling speakers produce quality sound?

Can the ceiling speakers from Pyle PDICBT87 be utilised for surround sound?

Ceiling speakers are a great addition to a home theatre if you want a more immersive audio experience. They are a fantastic addition to a surround sound system even if they have to be manufactured specifically for ceilings.

How do I connect my Pyle PDICBT87 ceiling speakers to my amplifier?

Drill a hole for the wires. Check to see that the amplifier is unplugged, then shut off the breaker. Install the wiring. Start connecting the wires to the terminals on the ceiling speakers. Connect the wires’ other side to the terminals of the amplifier. Start your breaker and give it a try.

How can I improve the sound quality of my Pyle PDICBT87 ceiling speakers?

The addition of a backbox can really enhance the sound quality. The backbox acts as a soundproofing and acoustic dampening tool, preventing sound from entering the space above the ceiling through the ceiling itself.

How are the ceiling speakers Pyle PDICBT87 measured?

Using a ruler or a tape measure, take your measurements in inches for the speaker. When your speaker is upright, the largest part of the cone should be facing upward.
