Product Information

The aquaBloom Set Art. 13300 is a solar-powered irrigation
system designed for efficient watering of plants. It comes with
various components, including batteries, hoses, and a watering
control system. The system is easy to install and provides a
convenient way to automate the watering process.

Choose a suitable location for the aquaBloom Set, ensuring that
it receives ample sunlight for optimal solar charging.
Connect the hoses to the water source and the pump, following
the instructions provided.
Install the batteries in the watering control system, making
sure to use rechargeable 1.2 V AA NiMH batteries.
Set the desired watering start time using the controls on the
watering control system. This start time will remain unchanged even
if you adjust the watering duration or frequency.
Adjust the watering duration and frequency according to your
plant’s needs using the controls on the watering control
system.
Ensure that the aquaBloom Set is not directly connected to the
faucet.
Regularly check the watering control housing and connecting
lines for any damages. If any damage is detected, contact GARDENA
Service for assistance.
Only use Original GARDENA parts for maintenance or replacement

Read the operator’s manual carefully before use and keep for future reference.
CAUTION!
The aquaBloom must not be allowed to fall into the water.
1.2.1 Safe operating practices: The water temperature should not exceed 35 °C.
1.3 Additional safety warnings 1.3.1 Intended use: This product may be used under supervision, or if instruction regarding the safe use of the product has been provided and the resulting dangers have been understood, by children aged 8 and above, as well as by persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge. Children must not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they aged 8 years and above and supervision. The use of this product by young people under the age of 16 is not recommended.

The solar-powered GARDENA aquaBloom watering set is designed for the fully-automatic watering of up to 20 plants, without the need for connection to the water and / or electricity networks. The product is not intended for long term use (professional use). Transport condition: 25 °C to + 60 °C.
Battery:
To ensure the product runs safely, only a 1.2 V AA NiMH battery must be used!
DANGER! Risk of injury!
The pump should not be used for the delivery of salt water, fertilizer, muddy water, corrosive, easily inflammable or explosive liquids (e. g. petrol, paraffin, thinners), oil, heating oil or foodstuffs.
1.3.2 Additional electrical safety warnings
DANGER! Cardiac arrest!
This product makes an electromagnetic field while it operates. This field may under some conditions interfere with active or passive medical implants. To decrease the risk of conditions that can possibly injure or kill, we recommend persons with medical implants to speak with their physician and the medical implant manufacturer before you operate the product. v Check the watering control housing for damages before usage. v Don’t use a damaged watering control.

v Check regularly the connecting line. v In the event of damage, have the aquaBloom checked by GARDENA Service. v For the watering system, use only rechargeable 1.2 V AA NiMH batteries. v Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
1.3.3 Additional electrical safety warnings
DANGER! Risk of suffocation!
Small parts can be easily swallowed. There is also a risk that the polybag can suffocate toddlers. v Keep toddlers away when you assemble the product.

v Only use Original GARDENA parts, otherwise the function of the system cannot be guaranteed. v Do not touch the watering control in strong sunshine. v Only use the watering system outdoors. v Do not use the product while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. v The product must not be connected directly to the faucet.
CAUTION!
If the required container exceeds 100 liters, you must observe the max. weight load of your balcony (according to DIN 1055).

2. OPERATION

2.1 Initial Operation [ Fig. 1 6 ]:

2.3 Battery charge status:

1. Fig. 3: Place the water control in a sunny place (avoid shaded areas).

2.2 Watering program [ Fig. 7 ]:

Ready for watering. Place the aquaBloom in a sunny spot or charge the batteries with an appropriate battery charger, if no sunshine is expected during your absence.
Watering not possible anymore. It is necessary to place the aquaBloom in direct sunlight or recharge the batteries separately.

3. STORAGE
3.1 To put into storage: The product must be stored away from children.

the batteries in a dry, enclosed and frost-free place.

6. DISPOSAL

6.1 Disposal of the aquaBloom Set:
(according to Directive 2012/19/EU / S.I. 2013 No. 3113)
The product must not be disposed of to normal household waste. It must be disposed of in line with local environmental regulations.
IMPORTANT!
The battery must be removed from the product before it is scrapped.
v Dispose of the product through or via your local recycling collection center.

6.2 Disposal of the battery:

Li-ion

The battery contains NiMH cells that should not be disposed of with normal household waste at the end of its life.

IMPORTANT!
1. Discharge the NiMH cells completely (contact the GARDENA Service).
2. Protect the contacts on the NiMH cells against short circuits.
3. Dispose of the NiMH cells properly via or through your local recycling collection center.
6.3 Malfunctions:
For any malfunctions please contact the GARDENA service department. Repairs must only be done by GARDENA service departments or specialist dealers approved by GARDENA.
