the drawers to prevent items from falling off and damaging the appliance. – WARNING: do not attach multi-socket adaptors or multiple power supplies to the rear part of the appliance. – To avoid food contamination, please follow the below instructions: – Opening the door for a long period of time may cause
a significant increase in temperature in the appliance compartments. – Regularly clean the surfaces that come into contact with food and with the accessible draining systems. – Clean the water tank if it has not been used for 48 hours. – Store raw meat and fish in proper containers in the refrigerator, so they do not come into contact with or leak on other food.

– The two-star drawers are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing, or making ice cream and making ice cubes.
– Drawers with one, two, or three stars are not suitable for freezing fresh food.
– Before carrying out any maintenance and cleaning task, turn off the appliance and unplug it.
– It is advisable to wait for at least four hours before connecting
the appliance to allow oil to flow through the compressor. – Air must flow around the appliance. Lack of air leads
to overheating. To achieve good ventilation, follow the installation instructions. – Whenever possible, the rear part of the appliance should not be too close to the wall to prevent it from touching or
reaching the hot parts (the compressor and the condenser). To avoid risk of fire, follow the installation instructions. – Make sure the power cord is accessible after installation. – All electrical work required to maintain this appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Refrigerant

Isobutane refrigerant (R600a), contained within the
refrigeration circuit of the appliance, is a natural gas
with a high level of environmental compatibility;
however, it is flammable. Make sure that no components of
the refrigeration circuit have been damaged during the
transport and installation of the appliance.
– WARNING: the refrigerant and the insulator gas are
flammable. When disposing of the appliance, only dispose
of it at an authorised waste-disposal facility. Do not expose
it to flames.
– WARNING: the device contains refrigerant and gases in the
insulation. The appliance and gases must be disposed of

professionally, as they may cause injuries to eyes or ignition. Make sure the refrigeration-circuit pipe is not damaged before disposing of it correctly. – WARNING: risk of fire. Chladivo

Chladivo izobutan (R600a) je obsazeno v chladicím
okruhu spotebice; jedná se o zemní plyn, který je
vysoce ekologický, avsak je holavý. Ujistte se, ze
bhem pepravy a instalace spotebice nebyly poskozeny
zádné soucásti chladicího okruhu.
– VAROVÁNÍ: Chladivo a izolacní plyn jsou holavé. Pi likvidaci
zaízení jej likvidujte pouze v autorizovaném zaízení pro
likvidaci odpadu. Nevystavujte je psobení plamene.
– VAROVÁNÍ: Spotebice obsahují chladivo a plyny v izolaci.
Spotebic a plyny musí být odborn zlikvidovány, protoze
mohou zpsobit poranní ocí nebo vznícení. Ped správnou
likvidací se ujistte, ze potrubí chladicího okruhu není
poskozeno.
– VAROVÁNÍ: nebezpecí pozáru. Pokud je poskozen chladicí
okruh:

2. ANTES DE USAR
– Este aparato presenta un embalaje diseñado para protegerlo durante su transporte. Saque el aparato de su caja y retire todo el material de embalaje. Puede guardar la caja original y otros elementos del embalaje en un lugar seguro para prevenir daños en el aparato si necesita transportarlo en el futuro. Si desea deshacerse del embalaje original, asegúrese de reciclar todos los elementos correctamente.
– Asegúrese de que todas las piezas y componentes están incluidos y en buen estado. Si faltara alguno o no estuviera en buen estado, contacte de forma inmediata con el Servicio de Atención Técnica oficial de Cecotec.
– Este aparato frigorífico no es adecuado para ser encastrado. – Coloque el frigorífico en una posición adecuada y ajuste las patas para nivelarlo. Se
recomienda limpiar el aparato con un paño jabonoso caliente y secarlo bien antes de utilizarlo.

Las cifras anteriores son orientativas a efectos de instalación. Las dimensiones reales de la unidad pueden variar ligeramente. Para garantizar que el aparato funcione con la máxima eficacia, deje espacio suficiente a su alrededor, tal y como se indica en la figura 4.
Puesta en marcha – Conecte el cable de alimentación y encienda el interruptor. – Al arrancar por primera vez, la pantalla mostrará los respectivos valores de temperatura
predeterminados (compartimento frigorífico está ajustado a 5°C; compartimento congelador, a -18°C). – El modo predeterminado es el de ahorro de energía: el tiempo de espera de la pantalla es de 20 segundos. Este modo permite ahorrar energía y prolongar la vida útil de las luces LED.
Descongelación automática Este aparato está equipado con un programa que controla la frecuencia y la duración de la descongelación del congelador. Esto le permitirá no tener que descongelar nunca manualmente el congelador.
Pantalla LED y controles de temperatura La pantalla muestra las temperaturas del compartimento frigorífico y del compartimento congelador respectivamente. Para cambiar el ajuste en cualquiera de los dos compartimentos, basta con pulsar la flecha hacia arriba o hacia abajo en función del cambio que desee realizar.

Sello de puerta removible y fácil de limpiar Los sellos de la puerta son fáciles de quitar y limpiar, lo que permite que el producto funcione eficientemente durante más tiempo.
Transporte – No transporte el frigorífico en posición horizontal o tumbado. – No transporte el frigorífico sujetándolo por la puerta o el asa; el frigorífico debe
transportarse levantando la parte inferior.
Este aparato no debe transportarse nunca por una sola persona; se necesitan al menos dos para levantarlo o transportarlo de forma segura. (Fig. 5)
Dónde instalar el aparato – El frigorífico debe colocarse sobre un suelo sólido y plano. – En caso de que sea necesaria amortiguación, se utilizarán bloques de amortiguación
estables, sólidos y no inflamables. – ¡NO UTILICE EL EMBALAJE DE ESPUMA COMO BLOQUES AMORTIGUADORES! – El aparato debe mantenerse alejado de lugares húmedos o donde haya agua. El agua o
la suciedad deben eliminarse de cualquier superficie del aparato lo antes posible con un paño suave. Esto ayudará a prevenir la oxidación y ayudará a que su aparato funcione con la máxima eficiencia.
Coloque el frigorífico en un lugar bien ventilado, reserve cierto espacio alrededor y detrás del frigorífico, y no cubra ni bloquee la rejilla de aire de la placa de cubierta trasera del compresor en su parte posterior. Mantenga el frigorífico alejado de fuentes de calor o de la luz solar directa.
Patas ajustables. Fig. 6 – Cuando el frigorífico está en la caja de embalaje, las patas están apretadas. Después de
sacarlo de la caja para instalarlo, asegúrese de ajustar las dos patas delanteras hasta lograr la altura deseada; ajuste las dos patas con una llave o directamente con la mano. – Las patas y los rodillos traseros deben tocar el suelo para evitar que el frigorífico se mueva, vibre o haga ruido. – Al mover el frigorífico, ajuste las patas en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj para que no toquen el suelo y, a continuación, inclínelo suavemente para empezar a moverlo.
Estante de la puerta – Desmontaje: sujete ambos lados del estante de la puerta con ambas manos. Empújelo
desde el lado opuesto a la muesca y empújelo hacia dentro como se ve en el diagrama. Empuje hasta que el borde del estante de la puerta se separe de la ranura de la guía. – Instalación: sujete ambos lados del estante de la puerta con ambas manos. Instale

primero la hebilla del lado de la muesca. A continuación, empuje ligeramente el otro lado hacia dentro, la muesca encajará en su sitio y el estante de la puerta quedará instalado. Asegúrese de que el aparato está instalado correctamente antes de ponerlo en funcionamiento. (Fig. 7)

Selección de funciones Cada vez que pulse el botón “Función”, pasará por los distintos modos de funcionamiento. Modo vacaciones: el compartimento frigorífico funcionará a 8°C mientras que el compartimento congelador funcionará a -15°C. – Modo Fast Freezing: el compartimento congelador funcionará continuamente para congelar
los alimentos de forma más rápida y mantenerlos frescos. El modo Fast Freezing se apagará automáticamente después de 24h de funcionamiento o cuando el compartimento congelador alcance los -28°C. Cuando esto ocurra, el icono de Fast Freezing se apagará y el compartimento congelador continuará funcionando a la temperatura predeterminada anterior. – Modo Fast Cooling: el compartimento frigorífico alcanza la temperatura en el menor tiempo posible, con el fin de mantener los alimentos lo más frescos posible. Cuando active esta función, la temperatura del compartimento frigorífico se establecerá en 2ºC automáticamente. El programa se mantiene durante un máximo de 150 minutos y luego se apaga automáticamente. Cuando el icono de Fast Cooling se apaga, significa que la función Fast Cooling está desactivada, y la temperatura ajustada vuelve a ser la última antes de que el modo de Fast Cooling entrará en funcionamiento.
Ajustes del compartimento congelador La temperatura por defecto del compartimento congelador es de -18°C. Para cambiar la temperatura, pulse el botón “Congelador” para ver todas las opciones de ajuste. Fig. 8

No coloque alimentos frescos directamente encima de los congelados.

Botón bloquear/desbloquear – Para activar el bloqueo de los botones, pulse el botón bloquear/desbloquear, aparecerá el
icono de un candado. – Mientras el frigorífico esté bloqueado los demás botones no funcionarán y al tocarlos
sonará una campanilla y el icono de bloqueo parpadeará. – Para desactivar la función de bloqueo, mantenga pulsado el mismo botón durante 3
segundos hasta que el icono deje de parpadear.
Alarma de puerta abierta Cuando la puerta del frigorífico esté abierta durante más de 1 minuto, se escuchará una alarma para recordar al usuario que debe cerrar la puerta. Una vez cerrada la puerta, la alarma dejará de sonar automáticamente.
Apagado/encendido del compartimento frigorífico Mantenga pulsado el botón “Control de temperatura del frigorífico” durante 5-10 seg. para encender/apagar el compartimento frigorífico. Cuando el compartimento frigorífico esté apagado, su indicador de la temperatura se apagará también. Cuando el compartimento frigorífico esté apagado, mantenga pulsado el botón “Control de temperatura del frigorífico” durante 5-10 seg. para volver a encenderlo.
Compartimento frigorífico (Fig. 10) El compartimento frigorífico debe utilizarse principalmente para almacenar alimentos que se vayan a consumir en poco tiempo.

Congelador (Fig. 9) El compartimento congelador se utiliza para congelar alimentos, almacenar alimentos muy congelados y hacer cubitos de hielo. Puede conservar los alimentos durante mucho tiempo.

Cuando el interior está manchado de aceite o alimentos grasos, debe limpiarse inmediatamente para evitar el contacto prolongado con el revestimiento, puede provocar la corrosión y el agrietamiento del revestimiento. Los compartimentos para alimentos congelados de dos estrellas ( ) son adecuados para

almacenar alimentos pre-congelados, almacenar o hacer helados y hacer cubitos de hielo. Los compartimentos con una ( ), dos ( ) o tres ( ) estrellas no son adecuados para congelar alimentos frescos. Si el aparato no va a ser utilizado o va a estar vacío durante largos periodos de tiempo, apáguelo, deje que se descongele, límpielo, séquelo y deje la puerta abierta para evitar la aparición de moho dentro del mismo.
4. INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL ALMACENAMIENTO DE ALIMENTOS
Precauciones de uso – El frigorífico podría no funcionar de forma consistente (descongelación del contenido o
que la temperatura se vuelva demasiado caliente en el compartimento congelador) si se coloca en lugares cuya temperatura se sitúa fuera del rango de temperaturas para el que están diseñados durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado. – La temperatura interna podría verse afectada por factores tales como la ubicación del frigorífico, la temperatura ambiente y la frecuencia con que se abre la puerta, etc., y deberá tener en cuenta estos factores si decide utilizar cualquier dispositivo de control de la temperatura.
Instrucciones para conservar los alimentos – Cuando almacene alimentos congelados, colóquelos en el interior del compartimento
congelador. – No introduzca alimentos embotellados o enlatados en el congelador para evitar que se
agrieten por la formación de hielo. Antes de introducir alimentos calientes en el frigorífico, enfríelos primero a temperatura ambiente; de lo contrario, aumentará el consumo de energía. – Marque la fecha de congelación en la bolsa de embalaje de los alimentos, para evitar que estos sobrepasen el límite de tiempo. – Divida los alimentos en trozos y enváselos por separado, para que se congelen más fácilmente y no se peguen entre sí. – Los materiales de envasado deben ser inodoros, herméticos, impermeables y no contaminantes, para que los alimentos envasados no se contaminen fácilmente con otros olores, evitando así la pérdida de calidad. – No introduzca demasiados alimentos frescos a la vez en el compartimento congelador, preferiblemente sin superar el límite de capacidad de congelación del frigorífico. – Los alimentos descongelados no se pueden volver a congelar. – No se deben colocar botellas o recipientes de vidrio en el congelador ni en la salida de aire del conducto del compartimento frigorífico; de lo contrario, pueden explotar. – Los alimentos no pueden bloquear la salida de aire; de lo contrario, obstaculizarán una circulación adecuada del aire.

Almacenamiento de alimentos A continuación, veremos cómo puede utilizarlos de manera óptima para almacenar alimentos. Los estantes de cristal y el cajón de frutas y verduras pueden retirarse para almacenar alimentos si es necesario. Nota: evite que los alimentos toquen directamente las superficies del interior del aparato.
Lácteos y huevos – La mayoría de los productos lácteos pre-envasados tienen incorporada una fecha de
caducidad o de consumo preferente. Almacénelos en el compartimento de refrigeración y utilícelos durante el periodo de tiempo recomendado. – La mantequilla puede contaminarse con olores fuertes, por lo que es mejor que la conserve en un recipiente sellado. Debe almacenar los huevos en el compartimento de refrigeración.
Carne roja – Coloque la carne roja fresca en un plato y cúbrala sin comprimir con papel encerado,
plástico o papel de aluminio. – Almacene la carne cruda y cocinada en platos diferentes. Esto evitará que los líquidos que
pueda desprender la carne cruda contaminen el producto cocinado.
Aves – Debe enjuagar las aves enteras frescas por dentro y por fuera con agua corriente fría,
séquelas y colóquelas en un plato. Cúbralas sin comprimir con plástico o papel de aluminio. – También debe almacenar las piezas de aves de esta manera. Rellene las aves enteras justo
antes de cocinarlas. De lo contrario, se puede producir una intoxicación alimentaria.
Pescado y marisco – Debe consumir el pescado entero y los filetes el mismo día de la compra. Consérvelos
en un plato cubierto con papel de plástico, papel encerado o papel de aluminio hasta el momento de consumirlos. En caso de almacenarlo durante la noche o más tiempo, tenga especial cuidado de seleccionar pescado muy fresco. – Debe enjuagar el pescado entero con agua fría para eliminar las escamas y la suciedad, y posteriormente secarlo con papel de cocina. Coloque el pescado entero o los filetes en una bolsa hermética de plástico. – Mantenga el marisco refrigerado en todo momento. Consúmalo en 1-2 días.
Comida precocinada y sobras – Puede almacenar esta comida en un recipiente apropiado y cubierto para que los alimentos
no se sequen. Consérvelo durante solo 1-2 días. – Caliente de nuevo las sobras una única vez hasta que desprendan vapor.

Cajón para frutas y verduras – Este cajón es la ubicación idónea en el frigorífico para frutas y verduras frescas. – Tenga cuidado de no almacenar los siguientes alimentos a temperaturas inferiores a 6ºC
durante largos periodos de tiempo: fruta cítrica, melón, berenjena, piña, papaya, calabacín, fruta de la pasión, pepino, pimiento y tomates. – Pueden producirse cambios indeseados a una temperatura baja, como ablandamiento, color marrón o descomposición acelerada. – No refrigere aguacates (hasta que no estén maduros), plátanos o mangos.

y colocarlos inmediatamente en el congelador.
Almacenamiento de comida congelada Conservar a -18 °C o menos. Evite abrir innecesariamente la puerta del compartimento congelador.
Congelación de comida fresca – Congele solo alimentos frescos y en buen estado. – Para conservar lo mejor posible el valor nutritivo, el sabor y el color, las verduras deben
escaldarse antes de congelarlas. Las berenjenas, los pimientos, los calabacines y los espárragos no requieren escaldado.
Los siguientes alimentos son aptos para la congelación: Pasteles y bollería, pescado y marisco, carne, caza, aves, verduras, frutas, hierbas, huevos sin cáscara, productos lácteos como queso y mantequilla, platos preparados y sobras como sopas, guisos, carne y pescado cocidos, platos de patatas, soufflés y postres.
Los siguientes alimentos no son aptos para la congelación: Tipos de verduras que suelen consumirse crudas, como la lechuga o los rábanos, huevos con cáscara, uvas, manzanas, peras y melocotones enteros, huevos duros, yogur, leche agria, nata agria y mayonesa.

5. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Precauciones para la limpieza interna y externa del frigorífico – Antes de limpiar, siempre apague el aparato y desenchúfelo de la corriente. – Durante la limpieza, asegúrese de que no entre agua en el interruptor, la pantalla, la luz de
la puerta y el cuadro de control superior. – Elimine la suciedad del exterior del frigorífico con un paño suave y limpio y deje que el
frigorífico se seque de forma natural. – Cuando limpie el sellado de la puerta, utilice siempre agua limpia y un paño seco y deje
que se seque naturalmente. Humedezca un paño suave con agua tibia o un producto de limpieza neutro para limpiar el cuerpo del frigorífico, excepto la banda de sellado de la puerta. – No limpie el frigorífico directamente con agua, ya que afectaría a las propiedades de aislamiento eléctrico, entre otras cosas. – No debe limpiar el frigorífico con estropajos metálicos, cepillos, productos de limpieza abrasivos, detergentes alcalinos fuertes ni líquidos de limpieza inflamables o tóxicos.
Después de la limpieza, conecte el enchufe de alimentación del frigorífico y vuelva a encenderlo.
Información general
Vacaciones Cuando quiera irse de vacaciones, es mejor que mantenga el frigorífico en funcionamiento continuo y deje alimentos que puedan conservarse durante poco tiempo. Si desea apagar el frigorífico, retire todos los alimentos, desconecte el enchufe, limpie completamente el interior del frigorífico y abra la puerta para evitar que se produzcan olores desagradables.
En caso de fallo eléctrico Por lo general, un corte de corriente de corta duración no afectará bruscamente a la

temperatura del frigorífico. Sin embargo, si el corte de corriente dura mucho tiempo, deberá reducir la frecuencia de apertura del frigorífico y no introducir alimentos frescos en el frigorífico (para evitar que se acelere el aumento de la temperatura del frigorífico).
Si sabe que se va a producir un corte de corriente, puede activar la función Fast Freezing y la función Fast Cooling con antelación para mantener la temperatura del frigorífico al valor más bajo.
Apagado Por lo general, no se recomienda apagar el frigorífico ni desconectar el cable de alimentación; de lo contrario, la vida útil del frigorífico puede verse afectada.

Ruido – Al poner en funcionamiento el frigorífico por primera vez, este funcionará a alta velocidad
para enfriarse rápidamente y el sonido puede parecer más fuerte. Cuando la temperatura interna descienda por debajo de cierto nivel, el ruido disminuirá. – Cuando el frigorífico se enciende o se apaga, cuando varias piezas se expanden o se contraen, cuando varios dispositivos de control funcionan o cuando cambia la temperatura en el interior del frigorífico, se oirán ruidos, pero son ruidos normales.
El frigorífico se calienta Durante el funcionamiento, la temperatura del condensador es superior a 80 ºC, por favor no lo toque, ya que podría causarle lesiones graves.

El frigorífico tarda mucho en enfriar.
Vibración.
El frigorífico ha estado desconectado recientemente durante un periodo de tiempo. Ha puesto demasiados alimentos frescos o calientes. Las puertas se abren con demasiada frecuencia o durante demasiado tiempo.
El frigorífico tarda unas horas en enfriarse completamente. Los alimentos calientes hacen que el frigorífico tarde más tiempo en alcanzar la temperatura deseada. El aire caliente que entra en el frigorífico da el mismo efecto. No abra la puerta con tanta frecuencia.

2. BEFORE USE
– This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
– Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
– This refrigeration appliance is not suitable for built-in installation. – Place the refrigerator in a suitable position and adjust the feet to level it. It is recommended

to clean the appliance with a hot, soapy cloth and dry it thoroughly before use. – Place the refrigerator and adjust its height, clean it, let it rest for 4 to 6 hours, and switch
it on. This will help ensuring that the compressor oil has properly settled, and that the appliance is running normally.

The above values are indicative for installation purposes. Actual sizes may vary slightly. To ensure that the appliance runs at maximum efficiency, allow enough space around the appliance as shown in Figure 4.
Start-up – Connect the power cord and turn on the switch. – On first use, the display will show the respective default temperature values (refrigerator
compartment is set to 5°C, freezer compartment to -18°C). – The default mode is the power-saving mode, with the display timeout time being 20
seconds. This mode saves energy and increases the lifespan of the LED lights.
Automatic defrosting The appliance is equipped with a programme that controls the frequency and duration of freezer defrosting. This allows for the freezer to defrost automatically, sparing you the trouble.
LED display and temperature control The display shows the temperature of the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment respectively. To change the setting in either of the two compartments, simply press the up or down arrow depending on the change you wish to make.
Removable and easy-to-clean door seal The door seals are easy to remove and clean, allowing for efficient, long-lasting operation.

Carrying – Do not carry the refrigerator horizontally or lying down. – Do not carry the refrigerator by the door or handle; carry the refrigerator by lifting from
the bottom.
Never carry the appliance aloneat least two people are required for safe lifting or carrying of the appliance. (Fig. 5)
Installation location – The refrigerator must be placed on a solid, flat surface. – If cushioning is necessary, use stable, solid, and non-flammable cushioning blocks. – DO NOT USE FOAM PACKAGING AS CUSHIONING BLOCKS! – The appliance should be kept away from damp or wet environments. Water or dirt should
be removed from any surface of the appliance as soon as possible with a soft cloth. This will help prevent rust and help your appliance run at maximum efficiency.
Place the refrigerator in a well-ventilated place, reserve some space around and behind the refrigerator, and do not cover or block the air grille of the compressor rear cover plate at the back of the refrigerator. Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources or direct sunlight.
Adjustable feet. Fig. 6 – In the refrigerator packing box, feet come tightly packed. After removing the refrigerator
from the box for installation, be sure to adjust the two front feet to the desired height; adjust the two feet with a spanner or directly by hand. – The feet and rear rollers must touch the floor to prevent the refrigerator from moving, vibrating, or rattling. – When moving the refrigerator, adjust the feet counterclockwise so that they do not touch the floor, then gently tilt the refrigerator to start moving it.
Door shelf – Disassembly: hold both sides of the door shelf with both hands. Push it in from the side
opposite the slot and push it in as shown in the Figure. Push until the edge of the door shelf separates from the groove in the slide. – Assembly: hold both sides of the door shelf with both hands. Install the clip on the slot first. Then, push the other side slightly inwardsthe clip will click into place on the slot and the door shelf will be installed. Make sure the appliance is installed correctly before using it. (Fig. 7)

Selecting modes and functions Each time you press the Function button, you will cycle through the different operating modes. Holiday mode: the refrigerator compartment will run at 8°C while the freezer compartment will run at -15°C. – Fast Freezing mode: the freezer compartment will run continuously to freeze food faster
and keep it fresh. The Fast Freezing mode will automatically switch off after 24 hours of operation or when the freezer compartment reaches -28°C. When this occurs, the Fast Freezing icon will turn off and the freezer compartment will continue running at the previous default temperature. – Fast Cooling mode: the refrigerator compartment reaches the temperature in the shortest possible time to keep food as fresh as possible. When you enable this function, the refrigerator-compartment temperature will be set to 2°C automatically. The programme lasts 150 minutes maximum and switches off automatically. When the Fast Cooling icon switches off, it means the Fast Cooling function is inactive, and the temperature setting reverts back to the one chosen before enabling the Fast Cooling function.
Freezer-compartment settings The default temperature of the freezer compartment is -18°C. To change the temperature, press the Freezer button to view all the setting options. Fig. 8

Do not place fresh food directly on top of frozen food.
Refrigerator-compartment settings The default temperature of the refrigerator compartment is 5°C. To change the temperature, press the Refrigerator button to view all the setting options.
Lock/Unlock button – To enable the kids lock, press the Lock/Unlock buttona padlock icon will appear on the
display. – When the refrigerator is locked, the other buttons will not work and, if touched, a chime
will sound, and the lock icon will flash. – To disable the lock function, press and hold the Lock/Unlock button for 3 seconds until the
icon stops flashing.
Open door alarm When the refrigerator door stays open for more than 1 minute, an alarm will sound to remind the user to close the door. Once the door is closed, the alarm will automatically stop sounding. Switching the refrigerator compartment on and off Press and hold the Refrigerator-Compartment Temperature Control button for 5-10 sec.

to switch the refrigerator compartment on and off. When the refrigerator compartment is switched off, the corresponding temperature indicator will switch off as well. When the refrigerator compartment is switched off, press and hold the Refrigerator-Compartment Temperature Control button for 5-10 sec. to switch it on again.
Refrigerator compartment (Fig. 10) The refrigerator compartment is to be used primarily for storing food that will be consumed within a short time.

Freezer compartment (Fig. 9) The freezer compartment is used for freezing food, storing deep-frozen food, and making ice cubes. It can preserve food for a long time.

If the interior is stained with oil or fatty foods, it should be cleaned immediately to avoid prolonged contact with the coating and subsequent corrosion and cracking. The two-star drawers ( ) are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing, or making ice cream and making ice cubes. Drawers with one ( ), two ( ), or three ( ) stars are not suitable for freezing fresh food. If the appliance is not going to be used or be empty for a long period of time, turn it off, allow it to defrost, clean it, dry it, and leave the door open to prevent interior mould growth.
4. INSTRUCTIONS ON FOOD STORAGE
Use precautions – The refrigerator may not operate consistently (there may be some defrosting of the
contents, or the temperature may become too hot in the freezer compartment) if placed in locations with a temperature outside of the temperature range for which it’s designed for a long period of time. – The internal temperature may be affected by factors such as the location of the refrigerator, room temperature, and door opening frequency, etc., and you should take these factors into account if you decide to use any temperature-control devices.

Instructions on food storage – When storing frozen foods, put them inside the freezer compartment. – Do not put bottled or canned foods in the freezer to prevent cracking due to ice formation.
Before putting hot food in the refrigerator compartment, cool it down to room temperature first for lower energy consumption. – Write the date of freezing on the food packaging bag to make sure they don’t stay frozen for too long. – Divide food into pieces and package them separately to ensure they freeze more easily and do not stick together. – Avoid loss of food quality by choosing packaging materials that are odourless, airtight, impermeable, and non-polluting. This will prevent other odours from easily contaminating the food. – Do not put too much fresh food in the freezer compartment at once, preferably not exceeding the freezer-compartment capacity of the refrigerator. – Defrosted food cannot be refrozen. – Glass bottles or containers must not be placed in the freezer or in front of the air outlet of the refrigerator-compartment duct. Otherwise, they may explode. – Food must not block the air outlet so as not to hinder proper air circulation.
Food storage Find useful tips on food storage here below. The glass shelves and crisper drawer can be removed for food storage if necessary. Note: do not allow food to directly touch surfaces inside the appliance.
Dairy products and eggs – Most pre-packed dairy products have a best-before date. Store them in the refrigerator
compartment and use them within the best-before date. – Butter can be easily contaminated by strong odours, so it is best to keep it in a sealed
container. Eggs must be stored in the refrigeration compartment.
Red meat – Place fresh red meat in a dish and cover it without pressing it with wax paper, plastic or
aluminium foil. – Store raw and cooked meat in different dishes. This will prevent liquids from transferring
from raw meat and contaminating cooked meat.
Poultry – You must rinse fresh whole poultry inside and outside under cold running water, dry it and
place it on a plate. Cover it without pressing with plastic or aluminium foil

– You must also store poultry meat this way. Stuff whole poultry right before cooking it. Otherwise, it can lead to food poisoning.
Fish and seafood – You must consume whole fish and fillets on the day of purchase. Store it in a dish covered
with plastic wrap, wax paper, or aluminium foil until ready to eat. If storing overnight or longer, take special care to choose very fresh fish. – You must rinse whole fish with cold water to remove scales and dirt, and then dry it with paper towels. Place whole fish or fillets in an airtight plastic bag. – Keep seafood refrigerated at all times. Consume it within 1-2 days.
Convenience food and leftovers – You can store this food in an appropriate and covered container, so food does not dry.
Conserve it only for 1-2 days. – Reheat the leftovers only once until they give off steam.
Crisper drawer – This drawer is ideal for fresh fruit and vegetable storage in the refrigerator. – Be careful not to store the following foods at temperatures below 6°C for long periods of
time: citrus fruit, melon, aubergine, pineapple, papaya, courgette, passion fruit, cucumber, pepper, and tomatoes. – There may be undesired changes at low temperature, like softening, browning or accelerated decomposition – Do not store avocados (until ripe), bananas or mangoes.

Buying frozen food – The packaging must be intact. – Use before expiry date. – If possible, transport fully frozen food in an insulated bag and place it in the freezer
immediately.
Frozen food storage Store at -18 °C or below. Avoid opening the freezer-compartment door unnecessarily.
Freezing fresh food – Freeze only food that’s fresh and in good conditions. – To best preserve nutritional value, flavour, and colour, vegetables should be blanched
before freezing. Aubergines, peppers, courgettes, and asparagus do not require blanching.
The following foods are suitable for freezing: Cakes and pastries, fish and seafood, meat, game, poultry, vegetables, fruits, herbs, shelled eggs, dairy products such as cheese and butter, ready meals and leftovers such as soups, stews, boiled meat and fish, potato dishes, soufflés, and desserts.
The following foods are not suitable for freezing: Types of vegetables that are usually eaten raw, such as lettuce or radishes, shell eggs, grapes, apples, whole apples, pears and peaches, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, sour milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Recommended storage times for frozen foods in the freezer These times vary depending on food type. Frozen food can be stored for 1 to 12 months (-18°C minimum).

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Precautions for cleaning the inside and outside of the refrigerator – Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains. – During cleaning, make sure that no water enters the switch, display, door light, and top
control panel. – Remove dirt from the outside of the refrigerator with a soft, clean cloth and allow the
refrigerator to dry naturally. – When cleaning the door seal, always use clean water and a dry cloth and allow it to dry
naturally. Dampen a soft cloth with lukewarm water or a neutral cleaning agent to clean the body of the refrigerator, except for the door seal. – Do not clean the refrigerator directly with water, as this will affect the electrical insulation properties, among other things. – The refrigerator must not be cleaned with metal scouring pads, brushes, abrasive cleaning agents, strong alkaline detergents, or flammable or toxic cleaning liquids.

Holiday When on holiday, it is best to keep the refrigerator in continuous operation and leave food that can be kept for a short time. If you wish to turn off the refrigerator, remove all food, disconnect the power plug, clean the inside of the refrigerator thoroughly, and open the door to prevent unpleasant odours.
In case of power failure Generally, a short power failure will not affect the temperature of the refrigerator abruptly. However, if the power failure lasts for a long time, you should decrease door-opening frequency and not put fresh food in the refrigerator (to avoid accelerating the interior temperature rise).
If you are aware of possible power failures, you can enable the Fast Freezing function and the Fast Cooling function in advance to keep the refrigerator temperature at the lowest value.
Switch-off It is generally not recommended to switch off the refrigerator or unplug the power cord, otherwise the lifetime of the refrigerator may be affected.
Energy-saving tips – Make sure to keep the refrigerator away from heat sources and direct sunlight. – Before storing hot food, cool it down to room temperature and store it in the refrigerator. – Do not leave the door open. Reduce the door-opening frequency and shorten the opening
time. – When defrosting frozen food, you can put it in the refrigerator compartment. – Make sure the temperature sensor is not obstructed or covered by food. Keep the food far
enough away from the sensor.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Condensation droplets When outside air enters the cold inner surface of the refrigerator, condensation droplets may appear. If it’s rainy season or humidity at the place of installation is high, condensation droplets may appear on the outside of the refrigerator. This is a natural phenomenon that occurs in wet weather. Wipe off the water droplets with a dry cloth.
Noise – When the refrigerator is switched on for the first time, it will run at high speed to cool down
quickly and may emit a louder sound. When the internal temperature drops below a certain level, the noise will decrease. – When the refrigerator is switched on or off, when various parts expand or contract, when various control devices are running, or when the temperature inside the refrigerator changes, you will hear noises. This is normal.
The refrigerator heats up During operation, the temperature of the condenser is above 80 ºCdo not touch it to avoid serious injury.
The refrigerator takes a long time to cool down If room temperature is too high or you put too much fresh food in the refrigerator, it will take a long time to bring the temperature down to the set values.

The refrigerator takes a long time to cool down.
Vibration.
The refrigerator has recently been switched off for a period of time. You have put in too much fresh or hot food. Doors are opened too often or for too long.
The ground is uneven or weak. Vibration comes from objects placed on top of the refrigerator. The refrigerator touches the wall or a piece of furniture.
The refrigerator takes a few hours to cool down completely. Hot food causes the refrigerator to take longer to reach the desired temperature. Warm air entering the refrigerator has the same effect. Do not open the door too often.
Make sure that the floor is level, solid, and can support the weight of the refrigerator. Remove the objects. Move the refrigerator so that it does not touch the wall or furniture.

2. AVANT UTILISATION
– Cet appareil possède un emballage conçu pour le protéger pendant son transport. Sortez l’appareil de sa boîte et retirez tout le matériel qui compose l’emballage. Rangez la boîte d’origine et le reste des éléments provenant de l’emballage dans un endroit sûr pour éviter d’endommager l’appareil si vous devez le transporter à l’avenir. Si vous devez vous défaire de l’emballage d’origine, assurez-vous de recycler tous les éléments correctement.
– Assurez-vous que toutes les pièces et les composants sont inclus et en bon état. S’il manque une pièce, une partie, un accessoire ou que l’appareil ou ses accessoires ne sont pas en bon état, veuillez contacter le Service Après-Vente officiel de Cecotec.
– Ce réfrigérateur ne peut pas être encastré. – Placez le réfrigérateur dans une position adéquate et ajustez les pieds pour le mettre à

Il est recommandé de nettoyer l’appareil avec un chiffon chaud et un peu de savon et de le sécher soigneusement avant de l’utiliser. – Placez le réfrigérateur et réglez sa hauteur, nettoyez-le, laissez-le reposer entre 4 et 6 heures, puis allumez-le. Cela permettra de garantir que l’huile du compresseur est correctement stabilisée et que l’appareil fonctionne correctement.

Les chiffres ci-dessus sont donnés à titre indicatif pour l’installation. Les dimensions réelles de l’unité peuvent varier légèrement. Pour que l’appareil fonctionne avec une efficacité maximale, laissez un espace suffisant autour de l’appareil, comme indique l’image 4.
Mise en marche – Branchez le câble d’alimentation et actionnez l’interrupteur. – Lors de la première mise en marche, l’écran affichera les valeurs de température
prédéterminées (le compartiment réfrigérateur est réglé sur 5 °C ; le compartiment congélateur sur -18 °C). – Le mode prédéterminé est le mode économie d’énergie : le temps d’attente de l’écran est de 20 secondes. Ce mode vous permet d’économiser de l’énergie et de prolonger la durée de vie de la lumière LED.
Dégivrage automatique Cet appareil est équipé d’un programme qui contrôle la fréquence et la durée du dégivrage du congélateur. Ainsi, vous n’aurez jamais à dégivrer le congélateur manuellement.
Écran LED et contrôle de la température L’écran affiche les températures respectives du compartiment réfrigérateur et du compartiment congélateur. Pour modifier le réglage de l’un ou l’autre des deux compartiments, il suffit d’appuyer sur la flèche vers le haut ou vers le bas, selon le changement que vous souhaitez effectuer.

Joint de porte amovible et facile à nettoyer Les joints de la porte sont faciles à retirer et à nettoyer, ce qui permet un fonctionnement efficace pendant plus longtemps.
Transport – Ne transportez pas le réfrigérateur à l’horizontale ou en position couchée. – Ne tenez pas le réfrigérateur par la porte ou la poignée ; le réfrigérateur doit être porté en
le soulevant par la partie inférieure.
Cet appareil ne doit jamais être porté par une seule personne ; au moins deux personnes sont nécessaires pour le soulever ou le porter en toute sécurité. (Img. 5)
Où installer l’appareil – Le réfrigérateur doit être placé sur un sol solide et de niveau. – Si un amortissement est nécessaire, des blocs d’amortissement stables, solides et non
inflammables doivent être utilisés. – N’UTILISEZ PAS L’EMBALLAGE EN MOUSSE COMME BLOC D’AMORTISSEMENT ! – L’appareil doit être maintenu éloigné des endroits humides ou mouillés. L’eau ou la saleté
doit être enlevée de la surface de l’appareil dès que possible avec un chiffon doux. Cela permettra d’éviter la rouille et aidera votre appareil à fonctionner efficacement.
Placez le réfrigérateur dans un endroit bien ventilé, réservez un peu d’espace autour et derrière le réfrigérateur, et ne couvrez pas ou ne bloquez pas la grille d’air du couvercle arrière du compresseur à l’arrière du réfrigérateur. Gardez le réfrigérateur loin de toute source de chaleur ou de la lumière directe du soleil.
Pieds réglables. Img. 6 – Lorsque le réfrigérateur est dans la boîte d’emballage, les pieds sont serrés. Après l’avoir
sorti du carton pour l’installer, veillez à régler les deux pieds avant à la hauteur souhaitée ; réglez les deux pieds avec une clé ou directement avec la main. – Les pieds et les roulettes arrière doivent toucher le sol pour éviter que le réfrigérateur ne bouge, ne vibre ou ne fasse du bruit. – Lorsque vous déplacez le réfrigérateur, réglez les pieds dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre afin qu’ils ne touchent pas le sol, puis inclinez doucement le réfrigérateur pour commencer à le déplacer.
Balconnet de la porte – Démontage : tenez les deux côtés du balconnet de la porte avec les deux mains. Poussez-le
depuis le côté opposé à l’encoche et poussez-le vers l’intérieur comme indiqué sur l’image. Poussez jusqu’à ce que le bord du balconnet de la porte se sépare de la rainure du guide. – Installation : tenez les deux côtés du balconnet de la porte avec les deux mains. Installez

Sélection de fonctions Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton « Fonction » les différents modes de fonctionnement seront affichés. – Mode Vacances : le compartiment réfrigérateur fonctionnera à 8 ºC tandis que le
compartiment congélateur fonctionnera à 15 ºC. – Mode Fast Freezing : le compartiment congélateur fonctionnera en continu pour congeler
les aliments plus rapidement et les garder frais. Le mode Fast Freezing s’éteindra automatiquement après 24 heures de fonctionnement ou lorsque la température du compartiment congélateur atteint -28 °C. Dans ce cas, l’icône Fast Freezing s’éteindra et le compartiment congélateur continuera de fonctionner à la température préréglée précédente. – Mode Fast Cooling : le compartiment réfrigérateur atteint la température souhaitée en un minimum de temps, afin de conserver les aliments aussi frais que possible. Lorsque vous activez cette fonction, la température du compartiment réfrigérateur est automatiquement réglée sur 2 °C. Le programme est maintenu pendant un maximum de 150 minutes, puis s’arrête automatiquement. Lorsque l’icône Fast Cooling s’éteint, cela signifie que la fonction Fast Cooling est désactivée et que la température définie revient à la dernière température avant que le mode Fast Cooling ne soit activé.
