DISCOVERY STAR SKY PLANETARIUM P5/P7

Do not look at the light source when the device is on. This may cause PERMANENT RETINAL DAMAGE and may lead to BLINDNESS. Children should only use the device under an adult’s supervision.

Assembly
Remove the protective film from the planetarium’s parts. Fold the middle and bottom parts of the sphere and fix them so that they take shape as shown in Fig. 2. Put the top, middle, and bottom parts together and fix them (Fig. 2). Insert the sphere’s base and lock it tight (Fig. 3). Then, mount

the sphere on the planetarium’s base (Fig. 4).

Getting started

Install the batteries in the remote control (only for Discovery Star Sky P7). Connect the power cable to the device and the DC adapter (not included) via a USB plug and connect to the AC power supply. Attention! The device operates from the AC power supply, as the voltage of the computer’s USB port is insufficient for the proper operation of the device.
Discovery Star Sky P7 is equipped with a built-in battery and can operate autonomously. Operation time after being fully charged is up to 12 hours in one LED mode and up to 6 hours in three LED modes. The approximate charging time is 3 to 4 hours.
When the battery is fully charged, the indicator (4, Fig. 6) will change from red to green.

 Using
Choose the right place to project an image: a plain white ceiling or wall will give the best effect. The optimal distance from the Astro planetarium is approx. 1.5—2m. Place the device on a flat surface. Turn the light off and close the curtains to make the room dark. Wait for 5—10 minutes to let your eyes adjust to the darkness. Turn the power on and choose the desirable projection mode.
To turn the Astro planetarium on or off, press the button on the device body (1, Fig. 6), or use buttons (1) and (2) on the remote control (Fig. 5) (only for P7).
Press and hold the button on the device body (for 1.5 sec.) to change the light color.
When using the remote control, make sure that it is pointed at the infrared sensor of the Astro planetarium (2, Fig. 6).
Rotation (аvailable only for P7). To start the rotation of the Astro planetarium, press button (9) on the remote control (Fig. 5).
