How to use the food chopper
IMPORTANT: Before first use, follow the instructions in “Care and cleaning.”
- Make sure the chopper is unplugged. Place the bowl onto the base.
- Carefully place blade in the bowl over the center shaft. Turn until the blade slips down to the bottom of the bowl.
- Place food in the bowl.
- Place the lid on the bowl.
- Plug into an outlet. Press the lid to chop. To turn it off, release the lid. Do not remove the lid until the blade has stopped turning.
- Unplug; remove the lid. Remove the bowl from the base. Carefully remove the blade before removing the contents.
- Use cord wrap on the bottom of the unit for easy storage.
Chopping tips
- The bowl has a capacity of 3 cups(710 ml). For liquid ingredients, do not exceed 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) (MAX LIQUID FILL line on the bowl).
- For more control, the process by pressing briefly, then releasing. Check consistency and continue if desired.
NOTE: Do not process raw meat, coffee beans, or whole, hard spices in the food chopper. This could damage the chopper.
Care and cleaning

Do not immerse the base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Wash the lid, bowl, and chopping blade in hot, soapy water or in the top rack of the dishwasher. The chopping blade is sharp; handle it carefully.
- Reassemble for safe storage.
- To clean the base, wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Limited warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase in Canada and one (1) year from the date of original purchase in the U.S.

The actual helicopter. It’s pretty simple to put together. The container is placed on the bottom, followed by the blade assembly and cover. Other than positioning the container such that the semicircle matches the one on the base, there is no twisting or fitting required. Disassembling and cleaning are both simple processes. It’s so simple that I find myself utilizing it all the time.
I’ve never prepared baby food. But I have blended a number of items. I don’t anticipate you encountering any issues.
