Congratulations on selecting your new MicroMini™ pocket microscope! In order to achieve optimum performance, please follow instructions for proper use and care.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY

Loosen battery door screw with a screwdriver and remove. (Fig. 1).

Install 3 LR43 batteries with the correct polarity (Fig. 2). Replace battery door and tighten screw with screwdriver.

WARNING:

Use only alkaline batteries. Mixing old and new, different brands or types within brands may cause batteries to leak, overheat or explode. Keep away from fire or excessive heat. Inspect batteries for corrosion or leakage. Insert in direction indicated. Rechargeable batteries not recommended.

USING THE MICROSCOPE

Place the microscope directly on top of the viewing object and rotate the focusing ring until the image is sharp and clear (Fig. 3).

Slide LED switch (Fig. 4):

  • Down to activate the microscope light
  • Up to use the microscope as a flashlight
  • Turn off LED by sliding to center position

USING THE UV LIGHT

Press and hold UV light switch to activate UV light (Fig. 5).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Clean using microfiber lens cloth. Do not use any abrasives, chemical cleaners, or solvents.

CAUTION to avoid possible permanent eye damage:

  • Do not look at the sun or bright objects with this microscope
  • Do not place the lighted microscope directly upon human eye
