Dries and cares your hearing systems

Moisture and ear wax can impair the function of hearing systems and cause failures. The dry-sun uv 2.1 offers optimal care. Comfort drying at 50°C extends life time significantly. Ultraviolet light (253,7nm UV-C) eliminates 99,9% of germs and bacteria. This clinical cleanliness prevents ear infections risks and protects both your hearing systems as well as your health.

Using first time

1. Insert the USB-cable into the 5 V power supply and the USB-C connector into the jack on the rear side of your drying station
2. Then plug the power supply into an AC power socket
   The dry-sun uv 2.1 is ready to use

   Operation

3. Open the lid of your dry-sun uv 2.1
4. Place the with wet wipes pre-cleaned hearing systems with the battery-door open (if possible) into your drying station
5. Briefly touch the sensor button and the comfort drying program (drying + UV-C) is starting automatically
   • The 4 hours drying program with approx. 50°C warm air is fully processor controlled
   LED permanent light
6. Close the lid
   

   • Ultraviolet light (253,7 nm) eliminates germs and bacteria to 99.9% within 4 minute	LED blink light
   • After 4 min the UV-C light switch off automatically, the drying process continues	LED permanent light
   • Within the last 4 minutes of the 4 hours drying program, a second UV-C hygiene runs	LED blink light
   • After 4 hours the drying station automatically shutdown to stand-by	LED switch off

7. Open the lid again
8. Remove the dried and hygienically cleaned hearing systems

Maintenance and operation

• We recommend wet wipes for cleaning your dry-sun uv 2.1
• You can interrupt the drying process by holding the sensor button for more than 3 seconds
• The dry-sun uv 2.1 is very energy efficient; unplug the power supply only for prolonged absence

Warnings

• Avoid contact with water
• Don’t use the dry-sun uv 2.1 near basins etc.
• In the event of a malfunction, unplug the power supply and take the drying station to your retailer
• Don’t disassemble the drying station and use only the supplied 5 V power adapter
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they don’t use the drying station as a toy
• The drying station is not to be used by persons who have limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or who do not have sufficient experience and/or  knowledge of the drying station, unless they are supervised for their own safety by a responsible person, or receive instructions on how to use the  drying station
• CAUTION: Do not look into the UV-C light, as this can harm your eyes and your skin
• The drying station has an automatic room and temperature modulation as well as safety shutdowns, when the lid is opened during UV-C program
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste; use separate collection facilities
• Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available
• If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being
