Safety string mounting

• The hole (φ5 ) is for a safety string
• Safety string has to be mounted for this luminaire.
• Safety string is not provided by Signify, need to be prepared by user.

• Remove 4 pcs nylon screws, use 4pcs M4x10 Screw & D4 Cushion to fix reflector.

Attention

1. Reflector installation must be completed before steps of luminaire fixing and power cable connection.
2. Please protect the diffuser during the steps of reflector installation.

Inrush current

• The luminaire shall be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latest IEE electrical regulations or the national requirements.
• Do not switch the luminaire on before completing installation.
• The height between the luminous surface and ground is suggested be more than 5m; and the height between bottom of luminaire and mounting surface must be more than 0.3m.
• If customers require the luminous surface levelness < 1°, pipe mounting method is recommended and suggested to use gradienter to precisely measure and adjust.
• If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged. It shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.
• The corrosive atmosphere or hazardous materials such as sulfur, chlorine, phthalate, etc must be avoided during the use and storage.
• Luminaires don’t have any evaluation on additional protective measures to prevent luminaire from high-altitude falling and windproof structure, therefore it can’t be used as flood and tunnel luminaire.
• Not suitable for use in harsh vibration and often causing vibration or swinging environment. Also not suitable for area prone to hurricanes and extreme winds.
• The installer needs to arrange the Chain / Pipe for mounting. The default product is supplied with a mounting hook.
• Do not stare at the operating light source.
• For Indoor use only. This product is not suitable for cold storage areas lower than -20⁰C or areas where obvious temperature gradients are present, such as ventilation opening, door, etc.

WARNING: Disconnect before servicing.

• Luminaire has basic insulation between Low Voltage supply and control conductors.
• The light source and/or control gear and/or the external flexible cable contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.

Storage, installation, use, operation and maintenance of the products needs to be performed exactly according the instructions in this manual and/or other instructions as may be provided by us to guarantee safe use of the product over its entire lifetime. Failure to adhere to these instructions will invalidate your entitlement to warranty. Bolts with indication of torque strength on the drawing need to be tightened using a calibrated torque wrench. Pre-assembled bolts need to be retightened again to the required torque specification to assure maximum strength over lifetime.
