If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. If you are uncertain, please contact IKEA. Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are especially suited to the material.
WARNING – Strangulation hazard. NEVER place a cord within reach of the child in a cot or playpen. ALWAYS secure the cord to the wall. Check regularly that the cord is securely fastened. Pull the cord to remove any slack between the switch and both fasteners. Tie up any remaining slack cord between the fastener and socket. Please see the illustration of how to secure the cord to the wall further on in this document.
WHEN CHANGING BULB – use only GUZ 5.3 LED bulb.
