AC 4041 Portable Air Conditioner
Product Information
The MEI AC 4041 is an air conditioning unit with a cooling
capacity of 14,000 BTU and a heating capacity of 13,800 BTU. It has
a fan, a thermostat, and three speed settings. The unit operates on
a current of 5.65 A for cooling and 5.0 A for heating. It uses
R290/280g refrigerant and has a volume of air of 56 dB(A). The unit
measures 50.6 x 52.5 x 83.8 cm and weighs 28.5 kg.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the air conditioning unit, ensure that it is in a
vertical position. Do not turn it over as it may cause irreparable
damage to the compressor. - If you turn off the unit, wait for at least 10 minutes before
turning it back on to prevent compressor damage. - Do not cover or restrict the airflow from the outlet or inlet
grills to ensure maximum performance. - For installation, partially open the window and place the
sliding bar on the window before closing it. Attach the connector
to the opening of the sliding bar. - To operate the unit, press the power button to turn it on or
off. Use the temp buttons to adjust the desired temperature. Press
the speed button to switch between three speeds. Use the mode
button to switch between auto, cool, heat, and fan modes. - If there are any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section
of the manual. Do not attempt to service the unit yourself except
for regular cleaning or filter replacement. Any other service
should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Este aparelho foi concebido apenas para o uso pessoal e não para o uso comercial. Utilize este aparelho apenas para a finalidade para que foi concebido. Não utilize um aparelho danificado. O aparelho deve ser verificado regularmente para detectar qualquer sinal de desgaste de materiais. Em caso de desgaste, não utilize mais o aparelho. Não repare o aparelho sozinho, contacte um especialista autorizado. Qualquer serviço além da limpeza regular ou substituição do filtro só pode ser executada por um representante autorizado.
AVISO: O APARELHO DEVE FUNCIONAR NA POSIÇÃO VERTICAL. NÃO O VIRE! O ar condicionado deve ser guardado e transportado na posição vertical caso contrário, podem ocorrer danos irreparáveis no compressor. Em caso de dúvida, deverá aguardar 24h com o aparelho na posição vertical, antes de colocar o aparelho em funcionamento. Caso não o faça poderá danificar o aparelho e inviabilizar a garantia. Se desligar o ar condicionado aguarde 3 minutos antes de o voltar a ligar. Isto evita que o compressor se danifique.
ATENÇÃO: NUNCA LIGUE A FICHA DO APARELHO A UM TEMPORIZADOR EXTERNO, NEM RETIRE A FICHA DA TOMADA COM O APARELHO EM FUNCIONAMENTO. Utilize apenas o botão ON/OFF localizado no painel de controlo para desligar o aparelho. O não cumprimento desta medida de segurança, poderá danificar o aparelho e inviabilizar a garantia. O aparelho não deve ser instalado em lavandarias ou quartos húmidos. Não instale o aparelho em divisões com fontes de ignição como: chamas vivas, aquecedores a gás ou aquecedores eléctricos. O gás refrigerante R290 está de acordo com as directivas ambientais Europeias. Este gás tem um baixo GWP (Global Warming Potencial) de 3. O ar condicionado contém cerca de 280 g de gás refrigerante R290. O sistema de refrigeração não deve ser perfurado. Se o aparelho for colocado a funcionar em divisões sem ventilação ou inferiores a 18.2m2, deve fazer-se circulação de ar para prevenir estagnação ou possíveis fugas de gás refrigerante, que pode causar risco de incêndio, em contacto com aquecedores eléctricos ou outras fontes de calor. O gás refrigerante pode não ter odor.

Para garantir a segurança das crianças, por favor mantenha todas as embalagens (sacos de plástico, caixas, esferovites etc.) longe do seu alcance. As crianças devem ser supervisionadas o tempo todo para garantir que não brincam com o aparelho.
INDICAÇÕES ESPECIAIS DE SEGURANÇA E DE POUPANÇA DE ENERGIA Não cubra nem restrinja o fluxo de ar das grelhas. Para um melhor desempenho a
distância mínima de uma parede ou de objectos deve ser 50 cm. Mantenha os filtros e as grelhas limpos. Em condições normais, os filtros e grelhas
devem ser limpos a cada 3 semanas (aproximadamente). Dado que os filtros removem partículas em suspensão no ar, poderá ser necessário uma limpeza mais frequente dependendo da qualidade do ar. Para uma utilização inicial, regule a ventoinha na velocidade máxima e o termostato para 5 graus abaixo da temperatura ambiente. Depois, regule a ventoinha para a velocidade mínima e o termostato para a temperatura pretendida. Para proteger o aparelho, recomendamos que não o utilize na função de arrefecer quando a temperatura ambiente for superior a 38ºC.

INSTALAÇÃO DO APARELHO AVISO: Antes de utilizar o aparelho, mantenha-o na posição vertical durante cerca de 3-4 horas. Este aparelho pode facilmente ser movimentado de uma divisão para outra. Ao deslocar o aparelho, certifique-se de que está sempre na posição vertical e depois colocado numa superfície nivelada.
1. Prenda o conector na extremidade da mangueira, esticando-a e rodando-a até que fique firmemente presa (cerca de 3 rotações).
2. Prenda o conector na extremidade oposta do tubo de exaustão, à saída de exaustão, na parte traseira do aparelho. Coloque-o na posição e rode até que trance no lugar.
. 3. Certifique-se de que o aparelho está
na vertical e não há obstrução nas palas e nas grelhas de ventilação.

INSTALAÇÃO DO KIT DE JANELA NOTAS:
O Kit de janela (barra deslizantes e conector) está concebido apenas para ser utilizado em janelas de correr ou de guilhotina. O kit não está indicado para utilizar noutros tipos de janelas.
O adaptador pode ser usado sem a barra deslizante na maioria das janelas ou portas.
Ao usar o ar condicionado certifique-se de que a abertura ao redor do conector é o menos possível, pois assim o arrefecimento não será tão eficiente.
A melhor forma de instalação é através de uma conduta na parede. Ao fazer ventilação apropriada, expele ar quente da sua divisão enquanto o arrefece de forma eficiente.
O ar condicionado deve ser usado sem o tubo de ventilação em modo DRY (desumidificador). Ao usar o modo DRY certifique-se de que utiliza um depósito para a água, que deve monitorizar e esvaziar regularmente para evitar que transborde. A drenagem contínua também pode ser instalada no modo de desumidificador, ou pode utilizar uma bomba de água para poder utilizar sem supervisão.
1. Abra parcialmente a janela e posicione a barra deslizante na janela antes de a fechar.
2. Prenda o conector na abertura da barra deslizante.
3. Prenda o conector de exaustão na extremidade da mangueira de exaustão e prenda-o na saída de exaustão na parte traseira do ar condicionado.

Indicações de Segurança!
O comprimento da mangueira de exaustão estende-se de 30 cm a 180 cm. Se a
mangueira for esticada acima desta medida, o aparelho pode não funcionar
correctamente e pode invalidar a garantia.
A saída de ventilação deve estar bem ventilada e sem obstrução, pois pode causar
sobreaquecimento. Mantenha a mangueira o mais direita e curta quanto possível e
evite dobrá-la mais de 30 graus, de forma a manter o desempenho do aparelho.
Demasiadas torções na mangueira podem impedir que o aparelho consiga expelir o
ar quente, e pode levar a danos internos que invalidarão a garantia.

FUNCIONAMENTO
Pressione este botão para Ligar e Desligar o aparelho. Pressione o Botão MODO para alternar entre 3 modos. Em cada um dos modos a luz indicadora acende-se. COOL: A divisão é arrefecida com o ar fresco a ser enviado através da saída de ar frontal. Enquanto isso o ar quente é expulso através do tubo de exaustão. A temperatura ambiente pode ser definida entre 16 e 32 graus, usando os botões + e -, e a velocidade da ventoinha ajustada pressionado o botão . HEAT: A divisão é aquecida com o ar quente que é expelido através da saída de ar frontal, enquanto o ar frio é expulso pelo tubo de exaustão. A temperatura ambiente pode ser definida entre 16 e 32 graus, usando os botões + e -, e a velocidade da ventoinha ajustada pressionado o botão . FAN: A velocidade da ventoinha ajustada pressionando o botão .
AUTO: Um modo inteligente de arrefecimento em que a velocidade da ventoinha é automaticamente ajustada com base na quantidade de arrefecimento necessária. Ao tentar mudar a velocidade da ventoinha, o aparelho irá mudar para o modo COOL. Pressione repetidamente o botão de controlo da velocidade da ventoinha para alternar entre as 3 velocidades: LOW (baixa), MED (média), HIGH (alta). Cada vez que pressiona o botão a luz indicadora acende-se, indicando a velocidade seleccionada. A velocidade da ventoinha não pode ser alterada no modo DRY (desumidificador).

As funções do temporizador não podem ser combinadas ou repetidas. Temporização para ligar Com o aparelho em modo de standby, pressione o botão TIMER para definir a hora a que quer que o aparelho se ligue. Utilize os botões + e – para ajustar a duração do temporizador (1 a 24 horas). A luz indicadora irá acender e o aparelho irá iniciar após passarem o número de horas seleccionadas.
Temporização para desligar Com o aparelho a funcionar com as definições desejadas, pressione o botão TIMER para definir a hora a que quer que o aparelho se desligue. A luz indicadora irá acender e o aparelho irá desligar após passarem o número de horas selecionadas. Pressione estes botões para ajustar a temperatura no modo COOL e no modo HEAT, e para definir a duração do temporizador. Ao pressionar os 2 botões em simultâneo pode mudar entre visualizar a temperatura em graus Celsius ou Fahrenheit. DRY (desumidificador) O aparelho deve ser colocado em funcionamento sem a mangueira de ventilação e preparado para fazer drenagem contínua, de modo a remover a humidade do ar. O aparelho vai funcionar com a ventoinha na velocidade baixa e o visor vai mostrar dH. Pressione este botão para activar o modo de oscilação. Ao pressionar novamente o botão SWING as palas irão parar na posição actual. Não tente ajustar manualmente o ângulo das palas.

FUNÇÕES DE PROTECÇÃO
Protecção anti-gelo Nos modos COOL, DRY e AUTO, se a temperatura de exaustão for muito baixa, o aparelho para automaticamente até que a temperatura aumente.
Protecção contra sobrenchimento Quando a água no depósito interno excede o seu limite máximo, o aparelho pára automaticamente o seu funcionamento e soa um alarme em que o visor mostra “E4”. Para voltar ao funcionamento esvazie o depósito. Após o depósito estar vazio o aparelho volta ao seu funcionamento anterior.
Auto-descongelação (Auto defrost) O ar condicionado vem com um sistema automático de descongelação. Se durante o funcionamento a temperatura interna das bobines ficar muito baixa, o aparelho irá entrar

no modo automático de descongelação, e o símbolo de aquecimento irá piscar no painel de controlo.
Protecção térmica automática Para proteger o tempo de vida útil do aparelho, o ar condicionado tem um sistema automático de protecção térmica. Se a temperatura dentro do aparelho estiver fora da escala especificada, o compressor e o motor inferior param o seu funcionamento. O aparelho regressa automaticamente ao seu funcionamento normal assim que a temperatura da máquina estabilize.
Protecção do compressor Para prevenir danos no compressor existe uma função de protecção que atrasa o iniciar do aparelho em 3 minutos.
ESVAZIAR O DEPÓSITO INTERNO DE ÁGUA Drenagem manual Assim que o depósito ficar cheio, o aparelho interrompe o seu funcionamento. Desligue o aparelho e retire a ficha da tomada. Tente não mover bruscamente o aparelho, pode fazer com que o depósito entorne. Coloque um recipiente por baixo da ligação inferior da água ou coloque o aparelho num local apropriado para drenar a água. Desenrosque a tampa do tubo de drenagem e retire o tampão de borracha, a água será drenada do interior do depósito. Volte a colocar o tampão de borracha e volte a enroscar a tampa do tubo de drenagem.
Drenagem contínua Desenrosque a tampa do tubo de drenagem e retire o tampão de borracha. Ligue um tubo de água à saída superior de água.

Pode canalizar este tubo no seu sistema de canalização, conduzi-lo para o exterior ao usarse da gravidade ou de uma bomba de água. NOTA: Este modelo vem equipado com uma função de auto-evaporação, que reduz a necessidade de esvaziar o depósito. Se o aparelho estiver correctamente ventilado, a maioria da água é reutilizada para arrefecer as bobines do condensador e o excesso é evaporado. Não utilize o modo de drenagem contínua se quiser utilizar a função de autoevaporação. Ao utilizar o aparelho no modo de aquecimento, é recomendado utilizar a drenagem contínua.
LIMPEZA E MANUTENÇÃO AVISO: Desligue o aparelho e retire a ficha da tomada antes de limpar ou efectuar qualquer manutenção! Limpeza da superfície Limpe a superfície do aparelho com um pano macio ligeiramente humedecido. Não utilize químicos, como benzeno, álcool, gasolina, etc.; caso contrário pode causar danos na superfície e/ou no funcionamento interno do aparelho.
Limpeza do filtro de ar Se o sistema do filtro estiver entupido com pó, a eficiência ao ar condicionado estará reduzida. O sistema do filtro deverá ser limpo uma vez a cada 2 semanas, ou as que sejam necessárias conforme o ambiente e utilização.

Limpeza do sistema superior do filtro Deslize as grelhas do filtro para fora da unidade. Se existirem parafusos s prender o filtro no lugar, deverá removê-los. A grelha de e evaporação do filtro pode ser limpa em água morna (cerca de 40ºC/104ºF) e um detergente neutro. Deverá ser enxaguado e seco à sombra antes de ser reinstalado no aparelho.
Limpeza do sistema inferior do filtro Segue a pega da grelha de entrada de ar do filtro, e puxe suavemente para fora para a remover. Coloque a grelha do filtro em água morna (cerca de 40ºC/104ºF) com detergente neutro. Deverá ser enxaguado e seco à sombra antes de ser reinstalado no aparelho.
Manutenção no final da época de utilização. Retire o tampão de borracha do canal de drenagem e esvazie o depósito. Também pode drenar a água inclinando o aparelho. Ligue o aparelho com a ventoinha na velocidade baixa. Mantenha o ar condicionado neste modo por meio-dia (até a conduta secar). Ao fazê-lo ajuda a manter o interior do aparelho seco e evita a formação de bolor Desligue o aparelho e retire a ficha da tomada. Volte a colocar o tampão de borracha. Enrole o cabo e prenda-o. Separe o tubo de exaustão de ar e guarde-o num local seguro. Cubra o aparelho e guarde-o num local seco. Retire as pilhas do comando e guarde-as ou recicle-as. Guarde os acessórios junto do aparelho até à próxima época.
PROBLEMAS E SOLUÇÕES Não desmonte nem tente reparar o ar condicionado. Reparações ou alterações feitas por pessoas não qualificadas invalidam a garantia e podem levar a falhas, causando ferimentos ou danos pessoais. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Carefully read the instructions before operating the unit. This appliance is for indoor use only and intended for use in a domestic environment only. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electrical shocks or other injury to user or property and could result in a voided warranty. Installation must be in accordance with regulations of the country where the unit is used. Disconnect the power before dismantling, assembling or cleaning. Avoid touching any moving parts of the appliance. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects though the guard.
Do not leave children unsupervised with this appliance. Do not clean the unit by spraying it or immersing it in water. Never connect the unit to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. Never operate this appliance if the cord, power adapter or plug is damaged. Ensure the power cord is not stretched or exposed to sharp objects/edges. Any service other than regular cleaning or filter replacement should be performed by an authorized service representative.
WARNING: THE APPLIANCE MUST WORK IN THE VERTICAL POSITION. DO NOT TURN IT OVER! The dehumidifier must be stored and transported vertically, otherwise irreparable damage to the compressor may occur. You should wait for 24 hours with the appliance upright before starting the appliance. Failure to do so may damage the unit and void the warranty. If you turn off the dehumidifier, wait 10 minutes before turning it back on. This prevents the compressor from being damaged.
CAUTION: NEVER CONNECT THE APPLIANCE TO AN EXTERNAL TIMER, OR REMOVE THE DEVICE FROM THE OUTLET WHILE IN OPERATION. Use only the ON / OFF button located on the control panel to turn the unit off. The appliance should not be installed in laundry or wet rooms. The appliance must be placed in a room without sources of ignition (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater). R290 refrigerant gas complies with European environmental directives. R290 has a low GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3. This air conditioner contains around 280 g of R290 refrigerant gas. Refrigerant gas may be odourless. Do not use or store in an unventilated space with an area smaller than 18.2 m2 per unit.

The room must be such as to prevent stagnation of possible leaks of refrigerant gas as there could be a danger of fire or explosion should the refrigerant come into contact with electric heaters, stoves or other sources of ignition. Do not use the product and contact the retailer for advice, if damage has occurred to the unit which may have compromised the refrigerant system. The refrigerant system should not be perforated or punctured.
ENERGY SAVING AND UNIT SAFETY PROTECTION TIPS Do not cover or restrict the airflow from the outlet or inlet grills. For maximum performance the minimum distance from a wall or objects should be
50cm. Keep the filters clean. Under normal conditions, filters should only need cleaning once
every three weeks (approximately). Since the filters remove airborne particles, more frequent cleaning maybe necessary, depending on the air quality. For the initial start-up set the fan speed to maximum and the thermostat to 5 degrees lower than the current temperature. After, set the fan switch to low and set the thermostat to your desired setting. To protect the unit, we recommend not using the cooling function when the ambient temperature is higher than 38ºC.

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPONENTS 24
INSTALLATION WARNING: Before using this unit, please keep it upright for at least 3-4 hours. This unit can easily be moved from one room to another. While moving the unit please note that it must always be kept upright and then placed on an even surface.
1. Attach the fishtail connector to the end of the hose, by extending the end and twisting until firmly attached (At least 3 full rotations).
2. Attach the connector on the opposite end of the pipe to the exhaust outlet on the rear of the appliance by putting into position and twisting to lock in place.

INSTALATION OF WINDOW KIT NOTES:
The window kit is only designed to be installed with sliding or sash windows or doors. The window kit is not designed or to be used with any other style of windows.
The fish tail adaptor can be used without the slide bar with most windows / doors. When using the air conditioner ensure that the opening left around the fishtail is as
small as possible as the cooling will be less efficient. The best form of installation is through a wall duct. By properly venting you expel hot
air from your room while efficiently cooling it. Your air conditioner should be used without the vent pipe in dry mode. When using dry
mode ensure that an external water tank is used, monitored and regularly emptied before overflowing. Permanent plumbing can be also installed for dry mode or an external uplift water pump can be set up for unattended use.
1. Partially open the window and place the extended slide bar in position before closing the window onto it.
2. Fix the fishtail adaptor into the opening on the slide bar.
3. Fix the exhaust connector on the opposite end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the rear of the air conditioner.
Important Safeguards!
The length of the soft hose extends from approximately 30 cm to 180 cm. If hose is
extended above this length, the unit may malfunction which can invalidate the
warranty.
The outlet vent must be well ventilated and not obstructed as this will cause the unit to
overheat.

Keep the hose as straight and short as possible and avoid bending the air hose by more than 30 degrees in order to maintain the performance of the unit. Excessive bends in the hose may prevent the unit from expelling the hot air, which can lead to internal damage which would invalidate the warranty.
OPERATION

Press the POWER button to turn the unit ON or OFF. Press the MODE button to cycle between the 3 modes, the indicator for the selected mode will be illuminated. COOL: The room is cooled with the cold air expelled through the front air outlet while hot air is expelled through the vent pipe. The desired room temperature can be set between 16 and 32 degrees using the + and buttons, and the fan speed can be changed using the SPEED button.
HEAT: The room is heated with the hot air expelled through the front air outlet while cold air is expelled through the vent pipe. The desired room temperature can be set between 16 and 32 degrees using the + and buttons, and the fan speed can be changed using the SPEED button.
FAN: The fan speed can be changed pressing the SPEED button.
AUTO: An intelligent cooling mode where the fan speed is automatically adjusted based on the amount of cooling required. Attempts to change the fan speed will move the unit into COOL mode. Repeatedly press the SPEED button to cycle through the three fan speeds. Each time the SPEED button is pressed, the indicator will change to show the currently selected speed. The fan speed can be changed between Low, Med and High. The fan speed cannot be changed in DRY mode. The timer functions cannot be combined or repeated. POWER ON TIMER With the appliance in standby, press the TIMER button to set the power-on timer. Use the + and – buttons to adjust the duration of the timer (1 to 24 hours). The Timer indicator will turn on and the unit will start after the selected number of hours.
POWER OFF TIMER With the appliance running with the desired settings, press the TIMER button to set the power-off timer. Use the + and – buttons to adjust the duration of the timer (1 to 24 hours). The timer indicator will illuminate and the unit will stop after selected number of hours.

Used to adjust temperature in COOL and HEAT modes and to set the duration of the TIMER. The buttons are not used in FAN or DRY modes. Press both buttons together to change between displaying the temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
DRY (DEHUMIDIFY) The unit should be operated without the vent hose and with the unit set up for continuous drainage to remove moisture from the air. The unit will operate at low fan speed and will show dH on the display. Press this button to enable the swing function. When the SWING button is pressed again the louvres will stop in their current position. Do not attempt to adjust the angle of the blades manually.

MULTI PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS Frost protection In COOL, DRY or AUTO modes, if the temperature of the exhaust is too low, the machine will automatically stop operating until the temperature has risen.

Overflow protection When the water in the internal water tank exceeds the warning level, the machine will stop operating and sound an alarm with the LCD display showing “E4”. To resume operation empty the internal water tank. After the water is emptied, the machine will automatically return to the original state.
Auto-defrost The machine has automatic defrosting function. If during operation the temperature of the internal coils drops too low, the unit will enter auto defrost and the heating symbol will flash on the control panel.
Automatic thermal protection To protect the service life of the machine, the machine has automatic thermal protection. If the temperature within the unit is outside of the specified range, the compressor and the lower motor will stop operation. The appliance will automatically return to normal operation after the temperature of the machine recovers.
Compressor protection To prevent damage to the compressor there is a 3 minute delay start protection function.
EMPTYING THE INTERNAL WATER TANK Manual drainage When the internal water tank is full the unit will stop working. Shut off the unit and unplug. Try not to move the model abruptly as this may cause the water in the internal tank to spill out. Place a tray under the lower water plug or place the unit in a drainage area. Unscrew the drain plug cap and remove the rubber stopper – water will drain from the internal tank. Put the rubber stopper back and screw the drain plug cap back into place.

Continuous drainage Unscrew the drain plug cap and remove the rubber stopper. Connect a water pipe to the upper water outlet. You can plumb this pipe into your current plumbing system, lead it outside and use gravity fall or use a water pump.
NOTE: This model has a self-evaporative function, which reduces the need to empty the water tank. If the unit is vented correctly most of the water is reused to cool the condenser coils and any excess is evaporated. Please do not use continuous drainage if you intend to use the self-evaporating facility. When using the unit in heating mode, it is advisable to use continuous drainage.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING: Please turn off the unit and unplug from the mains before cleaning or performing any maintenance!
Clean the surface Clean the surface of the machine with a wet soft cloth. Do not use chemicals, such as benzene, alcohol, gasoline, etc; otherwise, as this may cause damage to the surface and or the internal workings of the machine.
Air filter cleaning If the filter screen is clogged with dust, the effectiveness of the air conditioner is reduced. The filter screen should be cleaned once every two weeks or as often as necessarily in your environment.

Clean the upper filter screen frame Slide out the filter screen frames from the unit. If there are screws holding the filter in place these should be removed. The evaporator filter screen can be cleaned in warm water with neutral detergent (about 40 /104). It must be rinsed clean and dried in the shade before reinstalling in the unit.
Clean the lower filter screen frame Hold the handle of the air inlet filter screen frame, and pull it outward gently to remove it. Put the filter screen into warm water with neutral detergent (about 40 / 104 ). It must be rinsed clean and dried in the shade before reinstalling in the unit.
End of season maintenance Remove the rubber stopper from the drainage hole and empty the internal tank. You can also drain the water by leaning the unit. Then switch the unit to low fan mode. Keep the unit in this mode for half day – until the conduit is dried. Doing this helps to keep the inside of the unit dry and prevents mould from developing Turn off the unit and pull out the plug. Replace the rubber stopper. Coil the wire and bind it together, then put it into the accessories space. Separate the air-exhaust pipe and store it safely. Cover the unit and keep it in a dry place. Take the batteries out of remote control and store or dispose of them safely. Keep all accessories with the unit ready for next season.
