WarmMist Humidifier
The WarmMist Humidifier adds water vapor to the surrounding air,
providing ideal comfort in two settings. The appliance requires no
filters and has an auto-shut off feature. The V750 series model
comes with important safety instructions that should be followed
for safe usage.
Important Safety Instructions
- Always place the appliance on a firm, flat, waterproof surface
at least four feet (1.22m) away from bedside, twelve inches (30cm)
from the wall. - Keep out of reach of children and pets. Ensure the appliance is
stable and the power cord is away from heated surfaces and out of
the way to prevent tripping hazards. - The appliance should not be left unattended in a closed room as
air could become saturated and cause personal injury or property
damage. - Before using the appliance, extend the cord and inspect for any
signs of damage. Do not use the unit if the cord has been
damaged. - The appliance has a polarized plug as a safety feature. Do not

1. Remove From Box. Remove packaging material. Set aside instruction manual. Recycle
packaging materials or save for storage.
2. Remove twist tie from power cord and extend power cord full length. DO NOT OPERATE
WITH POWER CORD COILED OR TWIST TIE IN PLACE.

NOTE: Tank should be carried using two hands. One hand using carrying handle located on
tank’s top and other hand should support the bottom of the tank.

1. Remove Tank by grasping handle and pulling up. Remove Tank Cap located on bottom
of Tank by turning counter clockwise.
2. Fill Tank with cool water. DO NOT fill with warm or hot water.
3. Replace Tank Cap by turning clockwise to screw back in place. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
Place tank back on humidifier base.

1. When your humidifier is out of water the refill light will illuminate. 2. Turn the humidifier off, wait 15 minutes, refill Tank, and turn
humidifier back on.

1. Power: With the power switch in the OFF position ( ), plug the filled humidifier into a
polarized 120V outlet. DO NOT FORCE THE POLARIZED PLUG INTO THE OUTLET; It will only fit one way. DO NOT plug in humidifier with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
2. Output: Set output control to high ( ) or low ( ).
Indications your humidifier is operating are that the green nightlight on the control knob will illuminate and after 1-2 minutes your humidifier will produce a visible steam.
3. Humidity Level: Once you have reached a comfortable humidity level your humidifier
should be turned to the low setting. A comfortable humidity level is between 40-60%.
To monitor your humidity level it is recommended you use a hygrometer such as the Vicks V70 or V70-CAN Model (not included). If you notice condensation on the walls or windows you should turn your humidifier off as your humidity level is too high.

CAUTION: DO NOT remove the Mist Chimney, Removable Tray, Water Tank or Medicine Cup when
humidifier is in use or for at least 20-30 minutes after unit has been turned off and unplugged.

Liquid Inhalants such as Vicks VapoSteam can be used in the medicine cup. ONLY USE LIQUIDS THAT ARE RECOMMENDED FOR THIS TYPE OF HUMIDIFIER.
1. Add 1 TB (Table Spoon) inhalant to the medicine cup.
2. NOTE: Some residue from inhalant may be left in medicine cup after use. With the
humidifier turned off, unplugged and cooled for at least 20 minutes, gently wipe residue from medicine cup.
3. DO NOT ADD LIQUID INHALANTS OR ANY ADDITIVES OTHER THAN THOSE
RECOMMENDED BY THE HUMIDIFIER MANUFACTURER TO THE WATER. DOING SO CAN HAVE ADVERSE EFFECTS ON THE HUMIDIFIER.

1. You can use Vicks Scent Pads, VSP-19 Series, VBR-5 Series, VVP-6 Series with your
humidifier to provide up to 8 hrs of soothing vapors (one sample pad included).
2. Open scent pad by tearing notch on top of pad bag. DO NOT touch pad with hands. If pad
is touched, do not rub face as it may cause eye irritation.
3. Open Scent Pad Door located on rear of unit. Insert scent pad with angled end facing
towards the product. Close door.
4. Your scent pad will last 8 hrs. After 8 hrs., open door, remove old scent pad and discard.
If you choose to continue using scent pads, follow steps 2 and 3.
Scent Pad Recommended Usage: · Not recommended for infants under 10 lbs (4.5kg). · For children between 10-22 (4.5kg-10kg) lbs do not use more than 2 pads in a 24 hr period. Scent Pad Ingredients VSP-19, VSP-19FP, VSP-19-CAN & VVP-6: Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, Glycol, Cedar Leaf Oil & Others.

Weekly Care And Cleaning
NOTE: All maintenance should be done in the kitchen or bathroom on a water resistant surface. To properly clean your humidifier we recommend the process of scale removal and disinfecting shown on pages 6 and 7 of this manual. DISHWASHER SAFE: The following parts are TOP RACK dishwasher safe for residential dishwashers operating at temperatures below 70°C/158°F.

Run the dishwasher on the light duty or normal cycle. Do not wash with soiled articles/dishes. DO NOT USE DETERGENTS. If you use your dishwasher you will not need to follow the disinfecting and scaling procedure. NOTE: Do not place parts on lower rack of dishwasher. Doing so could cause damage to the humidifier parts and dishwasher.
THE MAIN HOUSING AND WATER TANK ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Placing these parts in the dishwasher will damage your humidifier and render it unable to operate properly.

1. Add 1 Teaspoon of bleach to 1 gallon (3.8L) water. 2. Add ½ to ¾ gallon (1.9L-2.8L)of water/bleach solution to heating element area of the Main
Housing and Water Tank.

NOTE: Please be careful of clothing, rugs and other non bleach resistant materials when disinfecting. Spilling bleach on clothing, rugs and certain surfaces may cause damage.
NOTE: Using more than 1 teaspoon of bleach per gallon (3.8L) of water will result in damage to your humidifier.

1. Push blue Tab to the open position. Place Water Tray and then Mist Chimney back on the
humidifier. Make sure they are sitting securely and blue latch is in the closed position.
2. Snap Medicine Cup back in place if removed. 3. Put Tank Cap back on Water Tank and place Water Tank back on unit.
End-Of-Season Care And Storage
When the humidifier will not be used for at least one week or more, or at the end of the season, follow the CLEANING instructions, starting on page 6. At the end of the season, remove any accessories from the humidifier. Dry the humidifier completely before storing. DO NOT store with water inside the Main Housing Water Reservoir or Water Tank. Pack unit in original carton and store in a cool, dry location.

Recicle el material de empaque o guarde para almacenaje.
2. Retire el lazo de torcedura del cable de corriente y extienda completamente el cable.
NO OPERE EL CABLE ENROLLADO O CON LAZO DE TORCEDURA EN SU LUGAR.
3-4. Asegure un Ensamblaje Correcto. Asegúrese que la Chimenea de Vapor y la Bandeja de Agua
estén firmemente en su lugar y que la Pestaña azul de la Bandeja Desmontable esté bien sujeta.
5. Seleccione una ubicación firme y nivelada al menos a 30 cm (12″) de cualquier pared.

de rellenado.
2. Apague su humidificador, espere 15 minutos, rellene el Tanque y

1. Encendido: Con el interruptor en la posición de APAGADO ( ), conecte el humidificador
lleno a un tomacorriente polarizado de 120 V~. NO FORCE EL ENCHUFE POLARIZADO EN EL TOMACORRIENTE; Entrará en una sóla posición. NO conecte el humidificador con las manos mojadas para evitar descargas eléctricas.
2. Salida: Ajuste el control de salida en alto ( ) o bajo ( ).
Una señal de que el humidificador está operando es la luz verde de noche en la perilla de control la cual se iluminará y después de 1-2 minutos su humidificador producirá vapor visible.
3. Nivel de Humedad: Una vez que ha alcanzado un nivel de humedad cómodo, debe
colocar el humidificador en el ajuste bajo. Un nivel de humedad cómodo es entre 40-60%.
Para monitorear su nivel de humedad se recomienda que use un higrómetro como el modelo Vicks V70 ó V70-CAN (no incluido). Si observa condensación en las paredes o ventanas debe apagar su humidificador ya que su nivel de humedad es muy alto.

PRECAUCIÓN: NO retire la Chimenea de Vapor, la Bandeja Desmontable, el Tanque de
Agua o el Dosificador de Medicina cuando el humidificador esté en uso o por al menos
20-30 minutos después de apagar y desconectar la unidad.
PRECAUCIÓN: CUANDO MUEVA EL HUMIDIFICADOR, APÁGUELO Y DESCONÉCTELO Y ESPERE 20-30 MINUTOS. NO OPERE SU HUMIDIFICADOR SIN EL TANQUE EN SU LUGAR O SI LA UNIDAD ESTÁ VACÍA. NO OPERE SU HUMIDIFICADOR SIN LA CHIMENEA DE VAPOR, LA BANDEJA DESMONTABLE, O EL DOSIFICADOR DE MEDICINA EN SU LUGAR.

Los inhalantes líquidos como el VapoSteam Vicks pueden usarse en el dosificador de medicina. SÓLO USE LOS LÍQUIDOS QUE SON RECOMENDADOS PARA ESTE TIPO DE HUMIDIFICADOR.
1. Agregue 1 Cuch. (Cucharada) de inhalante en el dosificador de medicina.
2. NOTA: Algún residuo del inhalante puede permanecer en el dosificador de medicina
después de su uso. Con el humidificador apagado, desconectado y enfriado al menos 20 minutos, limpie con cuidado el residuo en el dosificador de medicina.

1. Puede usar Almohadillas Aromáticas Vicks, Series VSP-19, Series VBR-5, Series VVP-6
con su humidificador para proporcionar hasta 8 hrs. de vapores relajantes (incluye una almohadilla de muestra).
2. Abra la almohadilla aromática jalando en el corte de la parte superior de la bolsa de la
almohadilla. NO toque la almohadilla con las manos. Si toca la almohadilla, no frote su cara ya que puede causar irritación en los ojos.
3. Abra la Puerta de la Almohadilla Aromática ubicada en la parte posterior de la unidad.
Introduzca la almohadilla aromática con el extremo angular orientado hasta el producto. Cierre la puerta.
4. Su almohadilla aromática tendrá una duración de 8 hrs. Después de 8 hrs., abra la puerta
y retire la almohadilla aromática usada y deseche. Si decide seguir utiizando almohadillas aromáticas,siga los pasos 2 y 3.
Uso Recomendado para la Almohadilla Aromática: · No recomendable para bebés de menos de 4.5 kg (10 lb). · Para niños entre 4.5 kg – 10 kg (10-22 lb) no use más de 2 almohadillas en un período de 24 horas. Limpieza y Cuidado Semanal
NOTA: Todo el mantenimiento debe realizarse en la cocina o en el bañosobre una superficie resistente al agua. Para limpiar adecuadamente su humidificador le recomendamos el proceso de eliminación de sarro y desinfección mostrado en las páginas 26 y 27 de este manual.
SEGURO PARA LAVAVAJILLAS: Las siguientes partes son seguras para la CANASTILLA SUPERIOR del lavavajillas operando a temperaturas por debajo de 70°C/158°F.

Opere el lavavajillas en el ciclo de lavado normal o lavado ligero. NO lave con objetos/platos sucios. NO USE DETERGENTE. Si usa su lavavajillas no necesitará seguir el procedimiento de eliminación de sarro y desinfección. NOTA: No coloque las piezas en la parte inferior del lavavajillas. Hacerlo puede causar daño a las partes del humidificador y al lavavajillas.
LA CUBIERTA PRINCIPAL Y EL TANQUE DE AGUA NO SON SEGUROS PARA EL LAVAVAJILLAS. Colocar estas piezas en el lavavajillas dañará su humidificador y no podrá operar de manera correcta.

5. Llene el Tanque de Agua y la Base con 1 taza de vinagre.
6. Limpie la Chimenea de Vapor, el Dosificador de Medicina y la Bandeja Desmontable con la
solución.
7. Remoje el Elemento Térmico de 15-20 minutos después limpie suavemente con un cepillo
suave para remover los depósitos minerales. NO USE CEPILLOS DUROS, LANA DE ACERO U OTROS ABRASIVOS en el elemento TÉRMICO. HACERLO PODRÍA DAÑAR EL ELEMENTO TÉRMICO.
Enjuague el Tanque, la Base, la Chimenea de Vapor, la Bandeja Desmontable y el Dosificador de Medicina hasta que desaparezca el olor a la solución.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO SUMERJA LA BASE EN AGUA.
8. Para limpiar el área de la almohadilla aromática, limpie con cuidado el área del calefactor
de la almohadilla aromática con un paño suave y húmedo.
NO USE VINAGRE O LA SOLUCIÓN DE CLORO PARA LIMPIAR ESTA ÁREA.

1. Agrege 1 Cucharadita de cloro a 1 galón (3.8L) de agua. 2. Agregue ½ a ¾ de galón (1.9L-2.8L) de la solución de agua/cloro en el área del elemento

3. Siga los pasos 6 y 7 de la sección de eliminación de sarro (página 27).
NOTA: Por favor tenga cuidado con la ropa, alfombras y otros materiales no resistentes al cloro cuando esté desinfectando. Cuidado y Almacenaje Fuera De Temporada
Cuando el humidificador no esté en uso durante una semana o más, o al final de la temporada, siga las instrucciones de LIMPIEZA iniciando en la página 26. Al final de la temporada, retire todos los accesorios del humidificador. Seque completamente el humidificador antes de almacenar. NO guarde con agua dentro del Depósito de Agua de la Cubierta Principal o el Tanque de Agua. Guarde la unidad en su caja original y almacene en un lugar fresco y seco.
