RAPALA® R12® HD LITHIUM-ION FILLET KNIFE QUICK START

COMPONENTS

(A) R12 Lithium Charging Base 2amps, (B) R12 HD Lithium Fillet Knife Housing, (C) R12 Lithium Battery 2Ah (2 Included), (D) Coated Fillet Knife Blades 6″ & 7-1/2,” (E) Fillet Knife Storage Case

1. Plug charging base into a 110 VAC power source.
2. Place battery on charging base and charge until full. (Fig.1)
3. Select a knife blade of your choosing from the carrying case. Insert knife blade by gripping blade guards, serration side down. Push into blade chuck in front portion of the knife until you hear/feel a click. The click indicates the knife blade is securely locked into the knife chuck. (Fig. 2)
4. After battery is fully charged remove from the charging base, insert battery into the back of the fillet knife housing until you hear or feel a click.The click indicates the battery is locked in. (Fig. 2)
5. R12® Lithium logo will be on the top side of the knife housing. Slide power button lock ( ) to the unlock ( ) position (Fig. 3).Your R12 HD Lithium Electric Fillet Knife is ready for use.

KNIFE OPERATION LIGHT

Your new R12 HD Lithium-Ion Electric Fillet Knife has a built in operation light that turns on every time the trigger is engaged. (Fig. 4)

BATTERY FUEL GAUGE

Your new R12 HD Lithium-Ion Electric Fillet Knife has a built in battery fuel gauge that turns on every time the trigger is engaged.This will display the amount of charge in the battery. (Fig. 5)

TO OPERATE POWER BUTTON – ON AND OFF

1. Make sure you have the fillet knife housing in the vertical orientation (Power Button on top) firmly secured in hand.
2. Slide “Power Button Lock/Unlock” to unlock ( ) position.
3. Apply downward pressure to the positive-force power button.This will engage the fillet knife blade.
   NOTE: Knife blade will engage only when downward pressure is applied to the positive-force power button.

The R12 HD Lithium-Ion Fillet Knife Housing is meant to be used with Rapala electric fillet knife blades ONLY. Use with any other electric fillet knife blades is prohibited and will void the 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.
