4181s Slip-On Exhaust

Product Information: Polaris General 2022 Slip-On Exhaust
System

The Polaris General 2022 Slip-On Exhaust System is a
high-performance exhaust system designed for the Polaris General
2022 model. It includes all necessary hardware and components to
replace the stock muffler with a Trinity Racing slip-on muffler
assembly. The package includes two mufflers, two muffler clamps,
four springs, six washers, ten bolts, and two muffler hangers. The
exhaust system is designed for closed course competition only and
is not intended for use on emissions controlled street, highway, or
off-road vehicles.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Begin by removing the stock muffler from the rear end of your
    Polaris General 2022.
  2. Loosely pre-assemble the muffler assembly. Space the muffler
    clamps according to the spacing on the muffler hanger. Do not fully
    tighten the muffler clamps as you will need to adjust later. Set
    the assembly aside once complete.
  3. Lift the bed of the vehicle and install the muffler hanger
    through the frame of the vehicle.
  4. Proceed to mount the muffler assembly on the hanger using
    supplied hardware.
  5. With the muffler clamps loose, install the Y pipe on the
    muffler and the header. Once set in place, proceed to tighten the
    muffler clamps and install springs.
  6. Tighten all hardware.
  7. Before starting the vehicle, wipe down all surfaces to rid of
    oil residue and fingerprints.

Warning: Trinity Racing exhaust systems will
require adjustment to OEM fuel settings such as installation of an
EFI programmer. Trinity Racing will not be held responsible for
damages that occur during operation of your vehicle under improper
fuel settings. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the
owner/rider to adjust fuel settings to specific riding
conditions.

Important: Inspection of the muffler packing is
recommended following every 30 hours of runtime. Failure to
maintain muffler packing will result in power loss, increased sound
output, and damage to the muffler body or muffler components.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Begin by removing the muffler off the rear end of your General.
2. Loosely pre-assemble the muffler assembly. Space the muffler clamps according to the spacing on the muffler hanger. Do not full ghten for you will need to adjust later. Set to the side once complete.
3. Li the bed of the vehicle and install the muffler hanger through the frame of the vehicle.
4. Proceed to mount the muffler assembly on the hanger using supplied hardware.
5. With the muffler clamps loose, install the Y pipe on the muffler and the header. Once set in place, proceed to ghten the muffler clamps and install springs.
6. Tighten all hardware
7. Before starng the vehicle, wipe down all surfaces to rid of oil residue and fingerprints.
