Product Usage Instructions
To use the plug UPS VFD Tower, follow these instructions:
- Ensure that the UPS is placed in a suitable location in a professional or domestic environment.
- Connect the plug to the mains power supply using the provided power cable.
- Connect your devices such as LCD monitors, personal computers, video terminals, printers, scanners, and fax machines to the appropriate sockets on the UPS. Use the Schuko, CEE 7/7P, French, CEE 7/5, Italian, or British sockets depending on your device’s power plug type.
- If using a load type other than the ones mentioned above (personal computers, LCD monitors, scanners, printers, modems, TVs,
- DVD players, PlayStations, Hi-Fi systems, or telephones), refer to the configurator for model selection to ensure compatibility. Install the PowerShield3 software on your connected IT systems to enable safe shutdown in case of mains power supply failure.
- During periods of prolonged inactivity, press the shut-off button on the UPS to reduce energy consumption.
- If there is a power outage and the UPS’s batteries run out, the UPS will automatically restart once mains power is restored.
- Make sure to maintain a suitable ambient temperature for the UPS and recommended temperature for battery life. Keep the relative humidity within the specified range and avoid exposing the UPS to extreme temperatures during storage.
