Tissue Culture Flasks with Peel-off Foil
Product Information
The TPP Tissue Culture Flasks with Peel-off Foil are designed
for cell culture with sterile handling techniques, storage, and
microscopy. These flasks have an optomechanically activated growth
surface to optimize cell adhesion and proliferation. The angled
flask neck helps reduce the risk of medium contact with the inside
of the screw cap.
These flasks are available with filter screw caps only. It is
important to note that using a VENT screw cap may cause pressure
build-up, which could press open the peel-off foil.
The TPP Tissue Culture Flasks with Peel-off Foil are intended
for single-use only. It is recommended to follow national
regulations for handling biological material and use appropriate
protective clothing.
Product Usage Instructions
- Check the packaging material and the product for intactness.
Use only faultless packaging. - Open the packaging in a sterile environment and remove a
complete system for use. - Open the filter screw cap of the cell culture flask.
- Fill the flask with medium and inoculum according to your
standard laboratory routine. - Resuspend the cells well with the medium to avoid cell
lumps. - Avoid foaming during resuspension and seeding to prevent holes
in the cell layer. - Ensure an appropriate medium volume to avoid meniscus formation
and uneven growth of cells. Refer to the technical data for the
optimum filling volume. - If stacking multiple flasks in an incubator, air vents in the
bottom rim ensure optimum heat distribution. - When centrifuging the flasks, consider factors such as shape,
material, accuracy of fit in the centrifuge adapter, temperature,
centrifugation time, and g-number to maintain mechanical
strength.

TPP tissue culture flasks with peel-off foil are designed for cell culture with necessary sterile handling techniques, storage and microscopy in manual use and to meet the need for a large one-time access from the above to the cell culture.
