Product Information: OTN1512MBK and OTN1712MBK
The OTN1512MBK and OTN1712MBK are convertible fixtures that can
be mounted as pendant lights or semi-flush lights. The package
contents include a fixture loop A x1, rod x 1, socket assembly x 1,
glass shade x 1, socket collar [preassembled to socket assembly]
x1, crossbar AA x 1, mounting screw BB x 2, wire connector CC x 3,
outlet box screw x2, ceiling canopy x1, quick link x2, and fixture
chain x1. The recommended bulb type for both fixtures is medium
(E26) type A with a maximum wattage of 100W (not included).

Installation Option 1: Pendant – OTN1512MBK
- Install the rod and fixture loop.
- Attach the socket assembly to the fixture loop.
- Install the fixture chain. Adjust the chain length as desired
using pliers and a soft cloth (neither included). The suggested
chain length varies depending on the ceiling height:
- 8 feet ceiling: use 13 links of chain and 2 quick links
- 9 feet ceiling: use 23 links of chain and 2 quick links
- 10 feet ceiling: use 33 links of chain and 2 quick links

Installation Option 2: Semi-Flush –
OTN1712MBK
- Remove the loop from the ceiling canopy.
- Attach the ceiling canopy to the socket assembly.
- Install the crossbar to the outlet box.
- Wire the fixture. Cut supply wires and leave approximately 8
inches from ceiling canopy. Connect the white wire from the supply
to the ribbed side of the wire from the fixture identified with the
label N. Connect the black (or red) wire from the supply to the
smooth side of the wire from the fixture identified with the label
L. Connect the ground wire from the supply to the ground wire from
the fixture identified with the label G. Connect the green ground
wire. - Install the ceiling canopy to the crossbar.
- Install the glass shade and bulb. Refer to fixture markings
and/or labels for maximum wattage.
Important: Do not cut supply wires if you
intend to use the fixture as a pendant light.
Note: After completing the installation,
restore electricity and save the user manual for future
reference.

* Set aside Fixture Loop, Rod, Quick Link and Fixture Chain since they are not required for the semi-flush installation.
