Product Information: RTU-320 Module
The RTU-320 Module is a factory-installed module that is part of
the RTU-300 test platform. It is designed to operate in Standalone
mode or in a centralized monitoring system such as VeSion.
Software Release Notes:
The RTU-320 Module undergoes constant evolution to keep up with
new applications and advanced capabilities. The following software
versions are available:
- Software version 04.00.05 – General Maintenance Release.
General availability. Release date: Feb 21, 2023. Requires RTU-300
Platform version 04.00.04. - Software version 04.00.04 – General Maintenance Release.
General availability. Release date: Sep 12, 2022. Requires RTU-300
Platform version 04.00.02. - Software version 03.03.12 – General Maintenance Release.

03.03.14.
To keep the test set and modules up to date, users can download
the full upgrade packages from the Veexinc website.
Product Usage Instructions:
To use the RTU-320 Module, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the RTU-300 Platform is installed and updated to
the required version for the specific RTU-320 software
version. - If using VeSion, ensure that the required versions of VeSion
Server, VeSion RTU-320 Server, VeSion HTML5, Test Scheduler Server,
GeoServer, and VeSion RTU410 are installed. - Download the full upgrade package for the desired RTU-320
software version from the Veexinc website. - Install the software upgrade following the instructions
provided in the software upgrade guide, which can be found in the
last section of the user manual. - If using VeSion, take advantage of the new packet features and
improvements for VeSion Mode, such as Remote Loop Up Support, Email
Notification feature for Scheduled Tests, and more. Refer to the
user manual for more information on these features.

Upgrading the RTU-320 Software via Web Remote Access/VNC (Standalone Mode) Note: The Platform and Module SW upgrade process is intrusive, and any test will be interrupted; make sure to save any
configuration or test results before proceeding. Module Upgrade 1. Download and unzip the required software from https://www.veexinc.com/support/software. Make sure to enter first
4 characters of the RTU-320 serial number to find the correct file. 2. The Module SW (install_rtu300_rtu320.sh for RTU-320) has to be upgraded after the Platform SW upgrade completed.
Refer to the Reference section of RTU-300 Platform Release Notes for details 3. Click Module Upgrade under the Web Remote Access option. 4. Browse the software image file by clicking the select file button. 5. Click upload button to send the file to the RTU Module. 6. Once the upload process is completed and file verification is successful, click upgrade button.
7. Users will be asked to confirm if the upgrade procedure should continue, as a reboot will be performed during the upgrading process.
8. When the upgrade process has been completed, log back in to the RTU-300 and verify that the Module software version was updated on the home screen.
