WARNING: CAUTION HOT SURFACES: This appliance generates heat. When the grilling plate is installed incorrectly, it will heat up the base. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, fires, or another injury to persons or damage to property.

CORRECT PLACEMENT

• Even space around the grill surface.
• The grilling plate is placed over 4 pegs located on the base to keep it in the correct position.

INCORRECT PLACEMENT

• Uneven space around the grill surface.
• The grilling plate is placed off to the side and is not in the correct position.
• This will cause the base to heat up.
