Product Information:

The F/O Pocket Otoscope is a handheld instrument used for
examining the ear. It features a metal cannula for attaching and
detaching the tip, allowing for easy replacement. The device has a
super bright LED light for optimal visibility and a swivel lens
window with 3x magnification power. It also includes an
insufflation port for attaching an insufflation bellow, an
integrated on/off switch, a pocket clip for easy carrying, and a
serrated handle for better grip during use. The otoscope comes in
nine different colors: Black, Purple, Red, Green, Pink, Yellow,
Blue, Burgundy, and White. It is available in a set that includes
10 disposable ear tips placed in a clear tube and one spare lamp in
a pouch.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Read and understand the operator’s manual carefully before
    using the Pocket Otoscope. Keep it for future reference.
  2. Ensure that the device is not used on patients who have already
    received prolonged or intense light exposure as it may result in
    injury.
  3. Avoid using the otoscope in the presence of flammable gases to
    prevent the risk of ignition.
  4. The otoscope should only be used to examine the ear when an ear
    tip is attached. The contact time with the skin should be limited
    to a maximum of 1 minute.
  5. When operating the device, rotate the magnifying lens clockwise
    to attach it to the otoscope. To remove it, rotate it
    counter-clockwise.
  6. After use, dispose of the ear tip carefully and do not reuse it
    for another patient.
  7. To change the bulb, follow these steps:
    1. Unscrew the end cap from the handle of the device.
    2. Remove the old bulb and replace it with a new one.
    3. Screw the end cap back onto the handle.
    4. After the bulb burns out, wait for approximately 5 minutes for
      the temperature to cool down before replacing it to avoid
      injury.
  8. To change the batteries, follow these steps:
    1. Unscrew the end cap from the handle of the device.
    2. Remove the old AA batteries and replace them with new
      ones.
    3. Screw the end cap back onto the handle.
    4. If the device is not in use for a prolonged period, remove the
      batteries.

User’s instruc ons & Warnings
The use of this device is contraindicated in pa ents who have already received prolonged or intense light exposure. Excessive exposure to light may result in pa ent’s injury. See warnings for informa on.
There may be a risk of gases igni ng when the instrument is used in the presence of flammable gases.
The Pocket Otoscope should only be used to examine the ear when a p is fi ed. The contact me (with skin) has to be limited to max. 1 minute. Pressure should be applied to Otoscope with great care during pneuma c tes ng.

Device Features:

It is used to view the tympanic membrane and external ear canal to diagnose outer and middle ear pathologies. · Turn on (or off) the device by pushing downwards

(or upwards).

from the otoscope.

Cau on:

A er using the ear p destroy it into bin carefully and do not use for the other pa ent.

(fig.3) , and examine through the viewing window which

is having 3x magnifica on.

Device Maintenance (Changing Spare Parts):

· Turn off the power and unscrew the head from

the handle of device.

· Pull the old bulb downwards, and replace

with new one.

· Screw the head back on to the handle.

Cau on:

A er the bulb burns out, the temperature will remain high for approximately 5 minutes. Please wait for a moment to avoid injury.

B. Remove the old AA ba eries, and

replace with new ones.

C. Screw on the end cap of the handle.

Please take out ba eries from the device if not in use for a

prolonged period.
