ZU560 Navigator Upright Vacuum

Product Information

The product is a vacuum cleaner that comes with various
accessories for versatile cleaning. It includes a Vacuum Pod,
Motorized Floor Nozzle, Handle & Hose, Wand, Accessory Holder,
12 Crevice Tool, and Upholstery Tool. The vacuum cleaner has a
Suction Control Slide that allows you to adjust the suction power
for different surfaces. It also features a Power/Surface switch to
select the surface setting or turn off the power. The vacuum
cleaner has a LiftAway function that allows you to detach the pod
for convenient above-floor cleaning. It also has a dust cup that
needs to be emptied after each use. Regular maintenance includes
rinsing the pre-motor filters every 3 months and the HEPA filter
once a year.

Product Usage Instructions

Assemble the vacuum cleaner by clicking the parts together.
Make sure all parts are firmly clicked into place.
To clean upright, slide the Suction Control to MIN for
maneuverability on carpets and to MAX for more suction on bare
floors.
Attach your desired accessory to the handle or wand.
Press the Power/Surface switch to select the surface setting or
turn off the power.
To engage the brushroll, step on the floor nozzle and tilt the
handle back.
To lift the pod off the nozzle or release the handle or wand,
press the corresponding release buttons.
Attach accessories to the handle or wand for specialized
cleaning.
After each use, empty the dust cup.
Rinse the pre-motor filters every 3 months and the HEPA filter
once a year with water only. Allow them to air-dry completely
before reinstalling.
For quick cord access, rotate the upper hook down and remove
the cord. Secure the cord by moving the cord hook to an upright
position.
To store the vacuum cleaner, wrap the cord around the upper and
lower hooks.
If there are blockages, open the brushroll access cover by
turning the locks counterclockwise using a coin. Clear any
blockages from the airway. Close the cover by pressing down firmly
on all sides and turning the locks clockwise.
Check the Shark Zero-M self-cleaning brushroll for blockages or
objects stuck in it.

EMPTYING THE DUST CUP
Empty the dust cup after each use.
MAINTENANCE: Rinse pre-motor filters every 3 months, and HEPA filter once a year. Rinse with water only, and allow to air-dry completely before reinstalling. See enclosed Owner’s Guide for more information on how to clean and replace the filters.

TIPS

To store your vacuum, wrap cord around upper
and lower hooks.
CHECKING FOR BLOCKAGES
If any hair is wrapped around brushroll, extending cleaning time will help it clear.

Using a coin, turn locks counterclockwise to open, then lift off cover to access brushroll. Clear blockages from airway. Replace cover, pressing down firmly on all sides before turning locks clockwise to close.
