When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including:
- Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
- DO NOT TOUCH the hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- This appliance is NOT A TOY.
- Unsupervised young children and cognitively challenged individuals should never operate this appliance.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse the cord, plug, or any part of this appliance in water or other liquids.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing parts, and before cleaning.
Allow cooling before putting on or taking off any parts, and before cleaning. - DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance

- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot food.
- Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove the plug from the wall outlet.

Operating Safety Precautions
- The blade is VERY sharp. Use EXTREME CAUTION when handling.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. NEVER put fingers or utensils into feed or discharge areas.
- Keep hands away from the blade mechanism. Use handles or knobs.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing parts, and before cleaning.
- Check the ice hopper for the presence of foreign objects prior to use.
Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plugin anyway. - A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
- If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
- Extension cords can be used if care is exercised in their use.
- The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
- When using a longer cord or extension cord, make sure that the cord does not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on or tripped over unintentionally.
The manufacturer does not recommend using this machine in countries that do not support 120V AC even if a voltage adapter, transformer, or converter is in use.

It quickly creates soft, fluffy ice that absorbs the flavors of any liquid paired with it, making it perfect for snow cones, slush drinks, margaritas, daiquiris, and more!

CAUTION: This unit has a sharp stainless steel blade that can cut and cause injury. Use
EXTREME CAUTION when handling the appliance. Keep fingers clear from the blade and avoid contact at all times when using and cleaning.
Before first use, follow the directions under CLEANING & MAINTENANCE to clean the unit.
- Place the Drip Tray into the center of the Base.
- Position the pegs of each Shaved Ice Chamber Wall into the holes located on the Base.
- Then place the Shaver Bowl on top of the Shaved Ice Chamber Walls.
Now you are ready to create cool, refreshing icy drinks!
HOW TO OPERATE
- Fill a standard ice cube tray or the supplied Ice Mold with water and place in the freezer until frozen. Remove ice from tray(s). See the HELPFUL TIPS section for instructions on using the Ice Mold.
- Place the ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER on a stable, waterproof surface near an electrical outlet before starting.
- Always make sure that the cord is away from a water source.
- With Shaver Bowl fitted on top of Shaved Ice Chamber Walls, place frozen ice cubes into the Shaver Bowl. If using ice from Ice Molds, a place with the flat side down and notched side up.
USE CAUTION when placing ice cubes in Shaver Bowl. The blade in the Shaver Bowl is very sharp. - Place the Snow Cone Cup or a small bowl under the Shaver Bowl to catch shaved ice.
- Place the Motor on top of the Shaver Bowl and hold it in place. When filled with ice, the Motor will rest a few inches above the bottom of the Shaver Bowl.
- Plugin the unit. The ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER operates at one speed. While holding the Shaver Bowl steady with one hand, press the Power Button. It will start with a gentle press.
- Press continuously until the majority of ice is shaved, or until the Motor sits flush to the bottom of the Shaver Bowl. To stop shaving ice, release pressure on the Power Button.
- Some ice may remain in the Shaver Bowl. Discard this ice before adding more ice.
- Repeat this process until you have the desired amount of shaved ice.
- After each 1 minute of continuous use, wait 10 minutes before using again to allow the Motor to cool.
- Unplug the unit from the outlet when finished.
HELPFUL TIPS
USING ICE MOLD
Common ice cubes may be used in the ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER, but will produce slightly coarser textured ice.
For best results, we recommend using the included Ice Mold.
- Fill the supplied Ice Mold with liquid to approximately ½ inch below the top, just below the Max fills the line.
- Place on a flat surface in the freezer until frozen (about 10 – 12 hours).
- If unable to remove ice from Ice Mold, run under water until ice is loose
- Ice Mold makes approximately 2 cups of shaved ice.
- Ice Mold can also be used as a serving bowl for shaved ice.
USING TRADITIONAL ICE CUBES
- Evenly place 10 medium-sized ice cubes in the Shaver Bowl, which will yield approximately 2 cups of shaved ice.
- Do not overfill Shaver Bowl with ice.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
The blades in the Shaver Bowl are very sharp. Use EXTREME CAUTION when handling the appliance during cleaning.
- Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
- Before first use and continuing after each use, be sure to wipe off the Motor with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry thoroughly.
NEVER immerse Motor or cord in water or any other liquid. - Wash the Shaver Bowl, Shaved Ice Chamber Walls, Base, Drip Tray, Snow Cone Cup, and Ice Mold with a soft cloth in warm water mixed with a mild detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or air dry prior to storage.
- To prolong the life of your ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER, hand-washing parts is highly advised. Dishwasher use is not recommended. NEVER place the Motor in a dishwasher.
RECIPES
Your ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER makes perfectly shaved ice that can be used to make:
- SNOWCONES
After shaving the ice, add flavored syrup. Add more than one flavor to create colorful and varied snow cones. Create stripes of flavor in the shaved ice for Rainbow Snow Cones. - SLUSH DRINKS
Fill a glass with freshly shaved ice. Add your favorite soft drink, flavored tea or fruit juice. Mix well. - FRESH FRUIT SLUSH
Fill a serving cup with freshly shaved ice. Add flavored syrup and top with the fresh chopped fruit of your choice. - ICE CREAM SLUSH
Fill a serving cup with your choice of ice cream. Top with a generous serving of shaved ice. Add flavored syrup. - YOGURT SNOW
Freeze flavored yogurt in Ice Molds. Use your ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER to shave the yogurt cubes and make a refreshing, healthy treat. Add syrup for even more flavor. - SNOW SMOOTHIES
Freeze ½ cup of milk in Ice Molds. Use your ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER to shave the ice cubes. Place the shaved cubes and fresh strawberries or your choice of fruit in a blender. Add ¼ cup of sugar for sweetness, then blend until smooth or to desired consistency. - FROZEN JUICE DRINK
Freeze fruit juice in Ice Molds. Use your ELECTRIC SHAVED ICE & SNOW CONE MAKER to shave the cubes to create a healthy treat.

Product Warranty Terms
Nostalgia Products LLC (the “Company”) hereby warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal home use, provided that the product is operated and maintained in accordance with the operating instructions. As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will at its discretion either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period. This warranty is only available to the original retail purchaser of the product from the date of initial retail purchase, and is only valid with the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase date is required to obtain warranty benefits. All warranty claims must be brought to the attention of the Company within the warranty period and no later than 30 days of the failure to perform. This warranty does not cover normal wear or damage caused by shipping, mishandling, misuse, accident, alteration, improper replacement parts, or other than ordinary household use. You may be required to return the product (with shipping prepaid by you) for inspection and evaluation. Return shipping costs are not refundable. The Company is not responsible for returns damaged or lost in transit. Unless otherwise specifically permitted by the operating instructions, this warranty applies to indoor household use only. Some states, provinces, or jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
