General Warnings

It is important to note that this wheelchair is designed to
provide maximum safety. However, improper use or incorrect
adjustment can increase the risk of accidents. Users must observe
the following rules for their own safety:

  • Ensure proper adjustment and assembly of the wheelchair.
  • Check for any damage or cracks in the frame before use.
  • Ensure the seat is completely open and securely in place.
  • Check that the brakes are working correctly.
  • Regularly check the condition of mechanical parts for wear and
    tear.
  • If applicable, ensure quick release axes are secured
    correctly.
  • Check the tires, tire pressures, and wheel locks (brakes) for
    proper functioning.

Product Usage Instructions

Intended Use

These wheelchairs are designed for physically or mentally
handicapped individuals with limited mobility. They can be used to
transport people with mobility problems or limited mobility.
Depending on the rear wheel size and features, the wheelchair can
be used in the following ways:

  • If the wheelchair has 20-24” rear wheels and a hand rim on the
    wheel, the user can move independently.
  • If the wheelchair has 13-40 cm rear wheels and does not have a
    hand rim on the wheel, an attendant is needed to move the
    wheelchair through the handles located on the back of the
    wheelchair.

Before Use

  1. Check if the frame is damaged to ensure safe use (no cracks or
    fractures).
  2. Ensure the product is properly assembled.
  3. If applicable, push down the seat from the lateral frame to
    ensure it is completely open.
  4. Check that the brake works correctly.
  5. Regularly check the condition of wear for mechanical parts to
    ensure safe use.
  6. If there are quick release axes, check that they have been
    secured correctly.
  7. Check tires, tire pressures (if needed), and wheel locks
    (brakes) for proper functioning.

INTENDED USE:
These wheelchairs have been designed for physically or mentally handicapped people with limited mobility. It makes possible to transport people with mobility problems or limited mobility and can be used for movement by the patient himself (if it has 20-24” rear wheels) or with the help of an attendant.
When the wheelchair has a rear wheel with a diameter of 50 to 60 cm and hand rim on the wheel then the user can move independently
When the wheelchair has a rear wheel with a diameter of 13 to 40 cm and does not have a hand rim on the wheel then the user needs an attendant to move the Wheelchair through the handles located on the back of the Wheelchair.

GENERAL WARNINGS:
· If you don’t read this user manual, it is preferable not to use this product or another available part. If you don’t understand the usage or the precautions, please contact with the dealer or the proper technical person before you use the product because may be caused damage.
· Keep away the product from heat sources. · Be careful when children are nearby and do not allow the children to play with the product. · Do not exceed the maximum payload. · Special care is always required where there are moving parts that can cause limb entrapment and injury. · Do not attempt to lift the wheelchair by any removable parts. · Getting in and out of the wheelchair may be performed independently, provided you have an adequate
mobility and upper body strength.
IMPORTANT!
The construction of this wheelchair is designed to provide maximum safety. However, users may be at risk by using their wheelchairs unsuitable. For your own safety, the following rules must be observed. Nonspecific or incorrect adjustment work can increase the risk of accidents.
· Always wear light-colored clothes when moving in dark places so that you can be reached more easily from others.
· Be careful during your first course in this wheelchair. · Meet your wheelchair. · Make use of your wheelchair on level ground as well as uphill and downhill. · Do not attempt to reach objects if you need to lift them from the floor reaching between your knees. · Do not attempt to reach objects if you need to move on to the seat. · Do not use on roads or motorways. · Do not attempt to climb or descend with water, ice, or oil membrane. · Do not use unauthorized parts, accessories, or adapters other than those approved by MOBIAK. · Do not stand in the wheelchair.

BEFORE USE:
1. Check if the frame is damaged in order to guarantee a safe use of the product. (There are no cracks or fractures in the frame)
2. Check, if the product is properly assembled. 3. Check If the seat is completely open. If not push the seat down from the lateral frame. 4. Check that the brake works correctly. 5. Always check the condition of wear for the mechanical parts to ensure the absolute safe use of the
product for people and objects. 6. If there are quick release axes, check that they have been secured correctly. 7. Check tires, tire pressures (if need id) and wheel locks (brakes). The brakes will not work properly if the
pressure is too low or the gap between the tire and the wheel locks is too long.
WARNING!
The following methods must be used only from experienced patients. If you are not experienced, ask for help from an attendant.
GETTING IN THE WHEELCHAIR:
1. Position the wheelchair as close as possible to you. 2. Engage wheel locks. 3. Lean on the frame with arms and slowly go down towards the seat.
GETTING OUT OF THE WHEELCHAIR:
1. Position the wheelchair as close as possible alongside the seat to which you are transferring. 2. Engage wheel locks. 3. ust rely on both handles equally. Supporting only one hand (and unattended) can causeinjury. 4. Shift body weight into the seat that you are going to transfer.
OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Always use lifts and ramps. If these are not available, you can reach your destination with the help of two escorts. They must lift the wheelchair by holding stable parts of the frame. A wheelchair should never be lifted while a passenger is seated. It should be pushed only.
2. Avoid stairs or obstacles, otherwise ask help from your attendant: 3. This wheelchair must be used solely to carry a person at a time on the seat. 4. Users should not sit in wheelchair while are using any means of transport. 5. The wheelchairs have a brake on the back wheels, which should be secured when the wheelchair is not
moving. 6. DO NOT push on the footrests to sit or stand up, DANGER OF OVERTHROW. The footrests are used
by the user when He or She is seated. 7. DO NOT touch moving parts while moving DANGER OF INJURY
MAINTENANCE:
Periodic review of the procedures below will help to maintain the life and effectiveness of your wheelchair.
WEEKLY
1. Check the wheel pressure by following the instructions on the wheels. 2. Check that the central bolt of the transverse arm is tight and in good condition. 3. Clean the fabric with soapy water or sufficient products. 4. Clean the metal parts of the chair with a dry cloth or with special products for chrome surfaces or
painted surfaces. 5. Check the wheel bolts and adjust if necessary. 6. Check for damage to front and rear wheels.

QUARTERLY
1. Check and adjust if necessary: wheel forks, pulling wheels, propellers. 2. Grease or oil all components that are subject to friction or impending wear. 3. Tighten the screws and nuts. 4. General revision of the chair’s status and repair to whatever is necessary.
ANNUALLY
1. We recommend a full review once a year to a qualified service provider. 2. For the safety of the patient, we recommend that the wheelchair will be checked by the manufacturer
every 2 years. In case of repair, use only authentic spare parts.
CLEANING:
In addition to maintenance and inspection, both the frame and the upholstery can be thoroughly cleaned. · To maintain its appearance, the fabric must be cleaned regularly. · Dirt can be removed with a sponge and a mild detergent with warm water, sweeping in the direction of
texture. · Rinse with clean water before letting it dry. · DO NOT leave the wheelchair wet. · Do not place the fabric in a tumble dryer. If the dirt is deep, the surface should be cleaned with a soft
brush. · The frame should be cleaned regularly with a mild detergent. · The wheelchairs with leather seats must be cleaned with dry cloth. · Clean the wheels with warm water and mild soap. Pay attention in drying the wheels. it is dangerous use
the wheelchair with wet wheels. · If you need to disinfect the product, use a common, mild disinfectant. · Protect the item from scratches, cuts and punctures.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
If one day you find that your product needs to be replaced or it is no longer working for you, consider protecting the environment: 1) Do not dispose your product along with the rest of the public waste (this is also the meaning of the shown recycling sign). 2) Contact your Public Authorities and they will instruct you of the Recycling centers to which your product must be disposed. 3) Correct disposal of your product helps the protection of the environment as well as the recycling of the product’s components.

INCIDENT REPORTING:
Any serious incident that occurs in relation to use of the device must be reported to the manufacturer and a competent authority of the Member State in which the user and / or patient resides.
WARRANTY: The product is guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from the purchasing date.
The warranty covers factory defects & DOES NOT cover damages resulting from misuse, poor maintenance, modification, overuse or non-compliance with the product’s operating instructions. Also DOES NOT cover the parts that can wear out during use or over time, like the upholstery, wheels or brakes.
Damages or defects caused by natural disasters, unauthorized maintenance or repair, supply problems (where applicable), carriers are not covered by the warranty
No service or spare part is covered unless it has been inspected by an authorized service department or the manufacturer of the product. Shipping costs for goods of warranty are to be paid by the user- customer or by dealer.

Assembly legrest by installing the hinge plates that are on the part onto the hinge pins on the wheelchair frame. Push the legrest towards inside of the wheelchair until it locks into place. Repeat the same procedure for the other legrest. Remove the legrest by pushing the release lever, rotate outwards, lift the legrest off the hinge pins.

The brakes are used to immobilize the wheelchair when it is stationary to prevent it from rolling away.

To engage the brake, push the brake lever forwards with the palm. ( 1)

Never engage the parking brakes while you are moving. Do not engage the parking brakes to slow down the wheelchair. Do not lean on the parking brakes for support or transfer. Keep your fingers away from movable parts when using the
brake, always keep your hand on the brake lever. [14]

Use the tool, that are with the product package, to adjust the length of the legrest. Loosen the screw and tighten to the desired length to secure it.

The wheelchair can be equipped with a safety belt. It prevents the user from sliding downward in the wheelchair or from falling out of the wheelchair.

A loose belt can allow the user to slip down and create a risk of strangulation
