GM Lighting S4 – S6 120V LED Surface Downlight
BEFORE YOU START
- Please check local electrical codes before beginning
- Turn power off before installing
- Make sure to use proper rated wire
- 4 to 122 F operating temp.
Do not install in an environment that is outside of the products listed ambient temperature
FLUSH MOUNT INSTALLATION
Install two screws (furnished) into junction box. Do not fully drive screws in. (Fig. 1)
Connect supply wires to wires in fixture wiring box using wire nuts (by others). Connect white to white, black to black, and green or bare copper wire to bare copper wire. (Fig. 2)
If there is a ground wire at junction box, secure it to ground screw. Compress torsion springs and push disk light housing up into junction box. Using a Phillips screwdriver, attach the disk light housing tightly to the junction box. (Fig. 3)
Press and twist the diffuser into housing, and twist to lock in place. (Fig. 4)
RETROFIT INSTALLATION FOR THE S-4
Install springs onto back of fixture housing using Phillips screwdriver. (Fig. 5)
Screw Retrofit E26 socket adapter into existing bulb receptacle. (Fig. 6)
Plug socket connector from disk light into socket connector from socket adapter. Install fixture by capturing springs in housing and firmly pushing up into ceiling (Fig. 7)
