Product Usage Instructions:
To use the product:
- Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet.
- For models with a built-in alarm clock:
- Set the time using the 12/24 hour switch.
- Adjust the display dimmer to your preferred brightness level or
turn it off completely. - Enable the auto-update feature for daylight saving time.
- If applicable, pair your device with the Bluetooth
functionality by following the instructions provided. - For models with wireless charging capability:
- Place your Qi-compatible device on the wireless charging pad
for fast and convenient charging.
- Place your Qi-compatible device on the wireless charging pad
- Use the available USB-A and USB-C charging ports to charge your
devices. - If necessary, utilize the tamper-resistant power outlets for
additional power sources. - If applicable, choose the appropriate plug type (110V or
220-240V) for your region. - If provided, secure the product using the included security
C-Clamp or P-Clamp.

The Brandstand Difference
Liquid Spill Testing
Although Brandstand’s Cubie products are not required to pass a UL liquid spill test, Brandstand goes above and beyond by developing products with additional safety margin.
For enhanced safety, the Cubie Product Line was designed for and successfully passed a UL spill test conducted by our ETL testing lab. This test involves directly pouring a 1-liter water and salt solution through the 110V plugs and USB. The units were then tested for dielectric conductivity on the surface of the unit. Additionally, the unit was required to perform to specification after the test was conducted. All products passed this testing without failure.
Surge Protection
All Brandstand Cubie products are tested to the UL 1449 Surge Protection Devices Standard, as well as UL962A for Furniture Power Distribution Units.
Qi Wireless Power
Brandstand is a member of the Wireless Power Consortium.
Pass-Through Power Plug
The pass-through power plug allows another device (i.e. lamp or alarm clock) to be plugged into the same wall outlet used by the Cubie Product.

In an effort to exceed current safety standards, CubieBlue, CubieTime, CubieTrio, CubieTrio+, CubieVia, CubieMod, CubiePod, CubieFlip and CubieDash include Tamper Resistant Outlets.
Cycle Testing
Brandstand’s lab conducted cycle testing on the 110V and USB connections.
The 110V outlets successfully passed 20,000 plug insertion and removal cycles without failure and before exhibiting pull force below specifications (>36 lbs)
The USB connector specification states that the USB connections are rated for 1,500 (one thousand five hundred) insertions without failure. Brandstand’s test lab successfully conducted 15,000 (fifteen thousand) insertion cycles without failure.
