PHONAK ActiveVent Receiver Intelligent Hearing Aid Instructions

Assembly instructions

Necessary items

1. ActiveVent receiver: MAV left (blue) or right (red)
2. Shell: SlimTip Titanium AV
3. Tube: SlimTip Link AV
4. HF3 wax filter: left (blue) or right (red), incl. filter changing tool
5. Cutting tool, e.g. cutting tweezers
6. Receiver handling tool
   

Inserting SlimTip Link AV

1. Insert the tube (SlimTip Link AV) into the shell (SlimTip Titanium AV).
   
2. Pull and wiggle the tube into the shell until it pops into position.
   
3. Cut the tube as close and flat as possible to the ring.
   
4. Finished SlimTip Titanium AV shell with SlimTip Link AV.
   

Inserting ActiveVent (MAV) receiver into SlimTip Titanium AV

1. Insert the ActiveVent receiver into the handling tool. Use the handle labeled “MAV”.
   
2. Push the receiver into the tube in the shell until resistance is felt.
   
3. The receiver spout should be aligned with the ring of the tube.
