Connecting the METAVOLT Dual Rapid Charger

To power the METAVOLT Dual Rapid Charger, plug the USB-C cable from the charging base into the USB-C port located on the front of the PlayStation 5 console.
*Note: The USB-C cable should not be plugged into a wall charger or anything other than the console’s USB-C port.
Placing the Controller(s)

Charging in Rest Mode

The METAVOLT Dual Rapid Charger can charge your controller(s) while the console is in “Rest Mode,” but you must set up this option in the PlayStation settings first.
To charge your controllers while your console is in Rest Mode:
Go to Settings > System > Power Saving > Features Available in Rest Mode > Set Supply Power to USB Ports to “Always or 3 Hours”
