IMPORTANT: If not installed properly, this unit could cause a fire. For applications such as baseboard electric heat (resistive), the max load is 15 Amps, from a 20 Amp circuit breaker. For heat applications such as a hot water circulating pump (inductive), the maximum load is 1/4 HP @ 120Volts (this thermostat is not compatible with heating appliances that contain both an electric heating element (resistive) and a blower fan (inductive load) within the same device.
