Once you have selected your carpet, Home Depot sends a certified technician to your home to review the rooms to be carpeted, take precise measurements, and document the rooms for our install partners. We come when it works for you. - STEP 3: RECEIVE YOUR PERSONALIZED QUOTE
You will receive a personalized project quote within 48 hours of your in-home appointment. We can review this quote with you over the phone or back in the store and make any necessary changes. - STEP 4: COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE
After finalizing your quote, there are multiple ways to pay for your project. You can complete your purchase over the phone or back in our store. Home Depot offers a range of flexible credit options. - STEP 5: NEW CARPET INSTALLED
We set up your installation appointment within 24-48 hours of your purchase. Our local, licensed installers take care of everything to get your new carpet installed. Most carpet installations are completed in 1 day.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR INSTALLATION?
INCLUDED IN YOUR INSTALLATION
Installation includes free rip up and hauls away of old carpet, basic furniture moving**, and stairs.
PREPARATION CHECKLIST
- Clear all surfaces and floor spaces
- Remove hanging mirrors and artwork*
- Detach and store all wiring from TVs, computers, and other electronics
- Remove bedding and disassemble beds
- Clear and disassemble wall units, bookcases, and entertainment centers
- Clear closet floors and remove low-hanging clothes
- Move any large heavy or fragile items not included in the basic furniture moving service**
We move ALL disassembled furniture for FREE. For customer convenience, we offer disassembly and reassembly for an additional charge. We will not move the following items: pianos, organs, waterbeds, pool tables, safes, grandfather clocks, delicate antiques and heirlooms, aquariums, pet tree houses, large exercise equipment and weights, video game electronics and machines.
