Galaxy Watch3 has phone calls
Remember that unless your watch includes an integrated microphone and speaker, such as the Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Watch4 series, Galaxy Watch5 series, or Gear S3, you cannot make or answer calls directly on it. All calls made to the Galaxy Fit and Fit2 are rejected.
- Can you use the Galaxy Watch 3 without a phone The watch functions independently of the smartphone when it is in Standalone mode. The watch cannot use Watch management features while in Standalone mode; it can only send and receive notifications from the Watch phone number.
- On my Samsung Galaxy watch, can I take calls Tap the green phone symbol on your Samsung Galaxy Watch and swipe toward the centre of the screen to answer calls. When you’re busy, hit the red phone icon and swipe left to reject a call.
- Can a smart watch be used to transmit text messages Android Wear makes sending SMS as simple as telling it to text someone. It only takes a few words to send a text message using your Android Wear wristwatch. This is true whether you have the LG G Watch, Samsung Gear Live, or Moto 360; they are all compatible.
Frequently Asked Questions?
I bought the Watch 3 because the battery on my S3 was getting so that it did not hold a charge as long as it used to; because it was lighter than the S#; and because of the new health features. I also bought the Watch Active 2 because it is lighter and works like the Watch 3. It even has ecg but not blood oxygen. I got a great deal for the Active 2 at Costco, but I like the Watch 3 with its rotating bezel better. Also the Watch 3, Active 2, S3, and Fit 2 Pro will automatically switch in the Wearable app depending which is on your wrist. The biggest fault for me with all Galaxy watches is that they are wildly inaccurate when I exercise especially heartrate. I keep trying different Galaxy devices and technoques but no luck. I have no trouble with other brands
I wear mine 12 to 16 hours a day at work and beyond and have plenty of power to spare before recharging. My wife has the smaller diameter watch and has to recharge once throughout the day.

I’m sure US version has to do with cell carriers, radios and frequencies that the watch can interact with. I know that Samsung has multiple regions available
