RL2815 Hayles Small Sconce
Product Information
The Hayles Small Sconce is a light fixture designed for
installation in accordance with applicable local installation
codes. It is important to have someone familiar with construction
and operation as well as the associated hazards to perform the
installation. The package should be inspected carefully for damage
or defects before proceeding with installation.

Assembly Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
clean, soft surface. - Remove the mounting plate (B) from the fixture (D) by
unscrewing the screws (E). - Using the mounting plate (B) as a guide, align it with the
junction box and mark the anchor positions. - Drill holes in the marked positions using a drill bit slightly
smaller than the anchor size. Install anchors (L) into the holes
using a hammer. - Attach the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using
mounting screws (C), then secure wood screws (M) to the anchors
(L). - Wrap the fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green
grounding screw on the mounting plate (B). - Connect the fixture wires to the corresponding wires in the
junction box, following standard electrical practices. - Securely tighten wire connectors and ensure all connections are
properly insulated. - Push any excess wire back into the junction box and carefully
position the fixture (D) over the mounting plate (B). - Screw the fixture (D) onto the mounting plate (B) using screws
(E). - Remove the metal bars (F) from the fixture frame (J) by
unscrewing the screws (G). - Attach the glass panels (H & I) to the fixture frame (J)
and secure them with the metal bars (F) using screws (G). Be
cautious not to overtighten as it may damage the glass. - Attach the fixture frame (J) to the fixture (D) and secure it
with thumbscrews (K).
Care Instructions
To clean the Hayles Small Sconce, use only a soft dry cloth or a
feather duster. Avoid using abrasive or chemical agents that may
damage the fixture.

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Remove mounting plate (B) from fixture (D) by removing screws (E). 3. Using mounting plate (B) as a guide, line up with the junction box and
mark anchor positions. 4. Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes in the
marked positions. Install anchors (L) into the holes using hammer. 5. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with
mounting screws (C), then secure wood screws (M) to anchors (L). 6. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding
screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A). NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. 7. Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A). 8. Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. 9. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.

10. Install fixture (D) to mounting plate (B) by securing with screws (E). 11. Remove metal bars (F) from fixture frame (J) by removing screws (G). 12. Install glass panels (H & I) to fixture frame (J) and secure with metal
bars (F) using screws (G). NOTE: Do not overtighten otherwise glass could become damaged. 13. Install fixture frame (J) to fixture (D) and secure with thumbscrews (K).
Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.
