2013-2022 Rear Leaf Shackle

These instructions are applicable to the following Trucks:

• 2013 – 2022 Ram 3500 Applicable Part Numbers:
• (TF-RSHAC-13U3500)

1. Removal
   • When removing OEM/Previous Shackle, the hardware is under stress and will be difficult to remove.
   • Jacking up your truck at the frame can help relieve this pressure.
   • Once you find the sweet spot and the hardware turns easily, remove both shackles.
2. Installation
   • Thuren shackles provide 2 height adjustments: Stock, 1/2” lowering, depending on the bolt holes used, the closest one to the frame mount is 1/2” Lowering.
   • Install all hardware in desired position for both Shackles.
   • Torque both Leaf spring and Shackle hardware to 140 Ft/Lbs at ride height.
3. Lubrication
   • It is mandatory to grease your Shackle Assembly after install.
   • The Shackle Assembly will hold quite a bit of grease and you should pump high performance grease into the assembly until you feel solid pressure. *This could be as many as 30 pumps depending on your grease gun.
