Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil der Coffee Taste&Style Thermo und der Coffee Taste&Style Duo Thermo (nachfolgend als Gerät bezeichnet) und gibt Ihnen wichtige Hinweise für die Inbetriebnahme, die Sicherheit, den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch und die Pflege des Gerätes.

2.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden allgemeinen Sicherheitshinweise: Vor dem Einsatz des Gerätes sind diese
Gebrauchsanweisungen sorgfältig zu lesen. Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauch des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben. Reinigung und Wartung durch den Benutzer dürfen nicht durch Kinder vorgenommen werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre oder älter und werden beaufsichtigt. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Das Gerät und seine Anschlussleitung sind von Kindern jünger als 8 Jahre fernzuhalten. Das Gerät kann von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
Bei Beschädigung der Anschlussleitung oder des Steckers, müssen diese durch den Hersteller oder dessen Servicebeauftragten ersetzt werden, um Gefahren vorzubeugen.
Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es leer ist. Das Gerät kann beschädigt werden.
Befüllen Sie den Wassertank nie über die oberste Markierung hinaus.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich zum Kaffeekochen. Geben Sie keine anderen Flüssigkeiten oder Lebensmittel als Wasser in das Gerät.
Lassen sie das Netzkabel nicht in Reichweite von Kindern herunterhängen.
Das Netzkabel darf nicht in Kontakt mit oder in die Nähe der heißen Teile des Gerätes, einer Wärmequelle oder scharfen Kanten gebracht werden.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker nicht durch Ziehen am Netzkabel aus der Steckdose.
Stellen Sie die Isolierkanne nicht auf eine offene Flamme oder eine elektrische Herdplatte.
Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit sollten Sie nur zu Ihrem Gerät passendes Originalzubehör- und Ersatzteile des Herstellers verwenden.
Füllen Sie nie Wasser in das Gerät nach, wenn dieses noch heiß ist.
Der Deckel des Gerätes muss bei Betrieb immer geschlossen sein.

Benutzen Sie die Isolierkanne niemals ohne Deckel. Eine Reparatur des Gerätes darf nur von einem vom
Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst vorgenommen werden, sonst besteht bei nachfolgenden Schäden kein Garantieanspruch mehr. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile ausgetauscht werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllen werden.
2.3 Gefahrenquellen
2.3.1 Verbrennungsgefahr
Das in diesem Gerät erhitzte Wasser, die verwendete Isolierkanne sowie die Warmhalteplatte des Gerätes können sehr heiß werden. Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise um sich oder andere nicht zu Verbrennen oder zu Verbrühen: Beim Kaffeekochen werden der Wassertank, die Platte, die
Isolierkanne und der Filterhalter mit Filter heiß! Es kann heißer Wasserdampf austreten. Das Gerät kann auch nach Gebrauch durch Restwärme noch
heiß sein. Prüfen Sie immer die Temperatur des Kaffees, bevor Sie ihn
trinken. Während der Kaffee gekocht wird, halten Sie bitte den Deckel
unbedingt geschlossen.

2.3.2 Verletzungsgefahr
Es kann Verletzungsgefahr entstehen. Verwenden Sie die Isolierkanne nicht, wenn diese beschädigt
ist. 2.3.3 Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom

Beim Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Leitungen oder Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr! Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise um eine Gefährdung durch elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden: Das Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn die
Anschlussleitung oder der Stecker beschädigt sind, wenn es nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert oder fallen gelassen oder beschädigt worden ist. Bei Beschädigung der Anschlussleitung oder des Steckers, müssen diese durch den Hersteller oder dessen Servicebeauftragten ersetzt werden, um Gefahren vorzubeugen. Öffnen Sie auf keinen Fall das Gehäuse des Gerätes. Werden spannungsführende Anschlüsse berührt und der elektrische und mechanische Aufbau verändert, besteht Stromschlaggefahr. Darüber hinaus können Funktionsstörungen am Gerät auftreten. Tauchen Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Stecker niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Vermeiden Sie, dass Wasser auf den Stecker spritzt.

3 Inbetriebnahme
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes. Beachten Sie die Hinweise, um Gefahren und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
3.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
3.2 Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

3.3 Auspacken
Zum Auspacken des Gerätes gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Entnehmen Sie das Gerät aus dem Karton und entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial.
3.4 Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar. Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien an den Sammelstellen für das Verwertungssystem »Grüner Punkt«.
Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall wieder ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können.

3.5 Anforderungen an den Aufstellort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
Das Gerät sollte auf einer ebenen, stabilen und hitzebeständigen Fläche aufgestellt und vor Spritzwasser und allen möglichen Hitzequellen geschützt werden.
Wählen Sie den Aufstellort so, dass Kinder nicht an heiße Oberflächen des Gerätes gelangen können.
Gerät nicht unter empfindlichen Möbeln betreiben, der austretende Wasserdampf könnte diese beschädigen.
Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten Umgebung oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material auf.
Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass das Stromkabel notfalls leicht abgezogen werden kann.
Der Einbau und die Montage dieses Gerätes an nichtstationären Aufstellungsorten (z. B. Schiffen) dürfen nur von Fachbetrieben/Fachleuten durchgeführt werden, wenn sie die Voraussetzungen für den sicherheitsgerechten Gebrauch dieses Gerätes sicherstellen.
3.6 Elektrischer Anschluss
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes sind beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten. Im Zweifelsfall fragen Sie Ihre Elektro-Fachkraft.
Der Anschluss des Gerätes an das Elektronetz darf maximal über ein 3 Meter langes, abgewickeltes Verlängerungskabel mit einem Querschnitt von 1,5 mm² erfolgen. Die Verwendung von Mehrfachsteckern oder Steckdosenleisten ist wegen der damit verbundenen Brandgefahr verboten.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Stromkabel unbeschädigt ist und nicht unter dem Gerät oder über heiße oder scharfkantige Flächen verlegt wird.
Die Steckdose muss über einen 16A-Sicherungsschutzschalter abgesichert sein.
Die elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes ist nur dann gewährleistet, wenn es an ein vorschriftsmäßig installiertes Schutzleitersystem angeschlossen wird. Lassen Sie im Zweifelsfall die Hausinstallation durch eine Elektro-Fachkraft überprüfen. Der Hersteller kann nicht verantwortlich gemacht werden für Schäden, die durch einen fehlenden oder unterbrochenen Schutzleiter verursacht werden.
3.7 Warnhinweise

3.8 Typenschild

4 Bedienung und Betrieb
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung des Gerätes. Beachten Sie die Hinweise um Gefahren und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen, um bei Gefahren schnell eingreifen zu können.
Das Gerät nur mit eingesetzten Filterhalter betreiben.
4.1 Display
H: Einstellung der Stunden
Min: Einstellung der Minuten
On/Off: Starten/Beenden des Brühvorgangs, Umschalten auf TIMER-Betrieb
1 x On/Off Taste drücken: Gerät wird eingeschaltet und startet sofort den Brühvorgang, die rote LED leuchtet.
2 x On/Off Taste drücken: Das Gerät wechselt in den TIMER-Betrieb, die weiße LED leuchtet und das Gerät beginnt zur programmierten Zeit den Brühvorgang.
3 x On / Off Taste drücken: Vorgang wird gestoppt, rote und weiße LED sind erloschen.
Prog: Einstellung der Uhrzeit und des TIMERs
1 x Prog Taste drücken: Stellen Sie die Uhrzeit mit H und Min ein
2 x Prog Taste drücken: Stellen Sie den TIMER mit H und Min ein.

4.2 Vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nur mit 1,2 Liter Wasser (ohne Papierfilter und ohne Kaffee) in Betrieb, wie unter ,,Schnellstart” beschrieben. Reinigen Sie danach das Gerät.

4.3 Uhrzeit einstellen
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein. Drücken Sie die Prog-Taste und CLOCK leuchtet auf. Stellen Sie mit der H-Taste die Stunden und mit der Min-Taste die Minuten ein. Die Einstellungen werden automatisch gespeichert.
4.4 Kaffeekochen
Warnsymbol: heißer Dampf. Achtung beim Gerät kann heißer Dampf austreten. Vorsicht Verbrennungsgefahr!
4.4.1 Vorbereitungen Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge in den Wassertank ein. Prüfen Sie, dass der Filterhalter eingesetzt ist. Setzen Sie den Permanent-Filter in den Filterhalter ein oder falten Sie die untere Falz eines Papierfilter (Größe 1×4) und setzen Sie diesen in den Filterhalter ein. Füllen Sie die gewünschte Menge Kaffeepulver in den Filter.
Nicht zu viel Kaffeepulver einfüllen, sonst könnte Kaffeesatz überlaufen.
Schließen Sie den Deckel des Gerätes. Stellen Sie die Isolierkanne auf die Warmhalteplatte unter den Tropfschutz. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein.
4.4.2 Auswahl der Aromastärke
Über die Mode-Taste können Sie die gewünschte Aromastärke des Kaffees einstellen (
mild,
mittel,
stark). Die Aromastärke hängt davon ab, wie lange das
Kaffeepulver vor dem Brühvorgang quillt. Die gewählte Aromastärke wird gespeichert.
4.4.3 Schnellstart
Spülen Sie die Isolierkanne vor der Benutzung mit warmen Wasser aus.
Schließen Sie die ,,Vorbereitungen” ab. Drücken Sie die On/Off-Taste, die rote LED leuchtet auf und das Gerät startet den Brühvorgang mit der zuvor eingestellten Aromastärke. Nach dem Brühende schaltet sich das Gerät aus, dann erlischt die rote LED.
Das Gerät ist gestoppt, wenn weder die rote noch die weiße LED leuchten. Die Menge des fertigen Kaffees kann von der eingefüllten Wassermenge abweichen, da
Kaffeepulver je nach Menge und Mahlgrad unterschiedlich viel Wasser aufnimmt. Das Gerät ist mit einem Tropfstoppsystem ausgerüstet. Dieses erlaubt Ihnen, Kaffee zu
entnehmen, noch bevor das ganze Wasser durchgeflossen ist. Stellen Sie die Isolierkanne schnell zurück, um einen Überlaufen zu vermeiden. Kein heißes Wasser in den Wassertank füllen. Befüllen Sie den Wassertank nie über die oberste Markierung hinaus. Warten Sie einige Minuten bevor Sie erneut Kaffee kochen.

Die Platte erwärmt sich während des Brühvorgangs. Verbrennungsgefahr. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn Sie den letzten Kaffee aus der Kanne entnommen
haben.
4.4.4 TIMER-Betrieb Schließen Sie die ,,Vorbereitungen” ab. Drücken Sie zwei mal die Prog Taste bis TIMER aufleuchtet. Stellen Sie mit der H-Taste die Stunden und mit der Min-Taste die Minuten für die gewünschte Startzeit des Brühvorgangs ein. Drücken Sie dann zwei mal die On/Off-Taste. Die weiße LED leuchtet und der TIMERBetrieb ist aktiviert. Das Gerät startet automatisch den Brühvorgang, wenn die eingestellte Zeit für den TIMER erreicht ist. Dann erlischt die weiße LED und die rote LED leuchtet auf.
Sie können den TIMER-Betrieb beenden, indem Sie erneut die On/Off-Taste drücken. Das Gerät ist gestoppt, wenn weder die rote noch die weiße LED leuchten.
5 Reinigung und Pflege
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Reinigung und Pflege des Gerätes. Beachten Sie die Hinweise um Beschädigungen durch falsche Reinigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden und den störungsfreien Betrieb sicherzustellen.
5.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung des Gerätes beginnen: Das Gerät muss regelmäßig gereinigt und Kalkrückstände müssen entfernt werden. Schalten Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der
Wandsteckdose. Der Wassertank, der Filterhalter mit Filter und die Isolierkanne sind nach dem Gebrauch
heiß! Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr. Warten Sie, bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist. Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel und keine
Lösungsmittel. Kratzen Sie hartnäckige Verschmutzungen nicht mit harten Gegenständen ab.
5.2 Reinigung
Entfernen Sie den Kaffeesatz aus dem Permanent-Filter bzw. werfen Sie den Papierfilter mit Kaffeesatz weg. Spülen Sie den Permanent-Filter und Filterhalter gründlich unter fließendem Wasser ab. Spülen Sie die Isolierkanne aus. Das Gerät kann mit einem angefeuchten Tuch abgewischt werden. Trocken Sie alle Teile gründlich ab.

Reinigen Sie das Gerät nie, wenn es heiß ist. Das Gerät niemals ins Wasser tauchen oder unter fließendes Wasser stellen. Achten Sie darauf das Gerät vor dem Reinigen vom Netz zu trennen. Zum Schutz vor
Stromschlägen das Gerät, Kabel oder Netzstecker nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen.
5.3 Entkalkung
Je nach Härtegrad des Wassers, sollten Sie das Gerät jeden Monat einmal entkalken.
Bei Bedarf auch den Permanent-Filter entkalken. Füllen Sie den Wassertank zu ein Viertel mit weißem Essig und zu drei Viertel mit Wasser.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein und drücken Sie die On/Off-Taste. Lassen Sie die komplette Mischung durchlaufen und schütten Sie diese anschließend weg. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang, bis keine Kalkrückstände mehr zu sehen sind.
Lassen Sie danach 1-2 mal 1,2 Liter Wasser aufbrühen und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang gegebenenfalls, bis Sie keinen Essigeruch mehr bemerken.
Schütten Sie das Wasser weg.
Regelmäßiges Entkalken Ihres Gerätes reduziert den Stromverbrauch und verlängert die Lebensdauer des Gerätes.
Geräte, die aufgrund mangelnder Entkalkung nicht richtig funktionieren, sind von der Garantie ausgenommen.
6 Störungsbehebung
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Störungslokalisierung und Störungsbehebung. Beachten Sie die Hinweise um Gefahren und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten dürfen nur von Fachleuten durchgeführt werden, die vom Hersteller geschult sind.
Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer und Schäden am Gerät entstehen.
6.1 Störungsursachen und behebung
Problem
Der Kaffee brüht zu langsam (mehr als 15 Minuten) oder ist nicht heiß genug.

Die Kanne war während des Kochvorgangs zu lange nicht auf der Warmhalteplatte platziert, so dass der Filter sich nicht entleeren konnte.
Zu viel Kaffeepulver verwendet.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
Stellen Sie die Kanne auf die Warmhalteplatte, so dass sich der Filter entleert.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät.
Nehmen Sie weniger Kaffeepulver.
Der Tropfschutz funktioniert nicht.
Das Tropfschutzventil enthält Kaffeereste.
Reinigen Sie das Ventil (unten im Filterhalter) und drücken Sie den Tropfschutz einige Male vorsichtig.
Wasser tritt am Boden Gerät ist defekt. des Gerätes aus.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
Gerät nicht mehr benutzen. Wenden Sie sich an den Kundenservice.
Wenn Sie mit den oben genannten Schritten das Problem nicht lösen können, wenden Sie sich bitte an den Kundendienst.
7 Entsorgung des Altgerätes
Elektrische und elektronische Altgeräte enthalten vielfach noch wertvolle Materialien. Sie enthalten aber auch schädliche Stoffe, die für ihre Funktion und Sicherheit notwendig waren. Im Restmüll oder bei falscher Behandlung können diese der menschlichen Gesundheit und der Umwelt schaden. Geben Sie Ihr Altgerät deshalb auf keinen Fall in den Restmüll.
Nutzen Sie die von Ihrem Wohnort eingerichtete Sammelstelle zur Rückgabe und Verwertung elektrischer und elektronischer Altgeräte. Informieren Sie sich gegebenenfalls bei Ihrem Rathaus, Ihrer Müllabfuhr oder bei Ihrem Händler.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Ihr Altgerät bis zum Abtransport kindersicher aufbewahrt wird.

Für dieses Produkt übernehmen wir beginnend vom Verkaufsdatum 24 Monate Garantie für Mängel, die auf Fertigungs- oder Werkstofffehler zurückzuführen sind. Unsere Garantie gilt für Deutschland, Österreich und die Niederlande. Für alle anderen Länder kontaktieren Sie uns bitte. Ihre gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüche nach §437 ff. BGB bleiben hiervon unberührt. Die Inanspruchnahme Ihrer gesetzlichen Mängelrechte ist für Sie unentgeltlich. In der Garantie nicht enthalten sind Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Einsatz entstanden sind, sowie Mängel, welche die Funktion oder den Wert des Gerätes nur geringfügig beeinflussen. Weitergehend sind Verschleißteile, Transportschäden, soweit wir dies nicht zu verantworten haben, sowie Schäden, die durch nicht von uns durchgeführte Reparaturen entstanden sind, vom Garantieanspruch ausgeschlossen. Dieses Gerät ist für den Gebrauch im privaten Bereich (Haushaltseinsatz) konstruiert und leistungsmäßig ausgelegt. Eine etwaige Nutzung im gewerblichen Einsatz fällt nur soweit unter die Garantie, wie es sich im Umfang mit der Beanspruchung einer privaten Nutzung vergleichen lässt. Es ist nicht für den weitergehenden, gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Bei berechtigten Reklamationen werden wir das mangelhafte Gerät nach unserer Wahl reparieren oder gegen ein mängelfreies Gerät austauschen. Offene Mängel sind innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach Lieferung anzuzeigen. Weitere Ansprüche sind ausgeschlossen.

Your Coffee Taste&Style Thermo will serve you for many years if you handle it and care for it properly. We wish you a lot of pleasure in using it!

These Operating Instructions are a component of the Coffee Taste&Style Thermo (referred to hereafter as the device) and provide you with important information for the initial commissioning, safety, intended use and care of the device. The Operating Instructions must be available at all times at the device. This Operating Manual must be read and applied by every person who is instructed to work with the device:

This chapter provides you with important safety notices when handling the device. The device corresponds with the required safety regulations. Improper use can result in personal or property damages.
11.1 Intended use
This device is only intended for use in households in enclosed spaces for cooking/brewing of coffee. This device is intended for use in the household and for similar applications such as: in kitchens for employees in shops, offices, and other commercial areas; in B&Bs, in agricultural estates; by customers in hotels, motels and other residential establishments. Uses for a different purpose or for a purpose which exceeds this description are considered incompatible with the intended or designated use.

11.2General Safety information

Please observe the following general safety notices with regard to the safe handling of the device. Read all these instructions before using the device. This device may be used by children aged 8 and above, if
they are supervised or have been instructed at to the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the device. The device and its connecting cable must be kept away from children who are less than 8 years old. The device may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and / or knowledge of their use if they are supervised or have been instructed at to the safe use of the device and have understood the resulting hazards. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be performed by children unless they are at least 8 years old and are supervised. Examine the device for any visible external damages prior to using it. Never put a damaged device into operation. If the power cable or plug are damaged, then they must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard. Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation.

Please note Do not operate the device if it is empty. This could damage
the device. Never fill the water tank beyond top mark. Use the device exclusively for cooking coffee. Do not fill any
other liquids (as water) or foods in the device. Do not leave the power cord hanging within children’s reach. The power cord must never be near or in contact with the hot
parts of the machine, near a source of heat or over a sharp edge. For your own safety, only use manufacturer accessories and spare parts suited to your machine. Do not disconnect the plug from the socket by pulling on the cord. Do not use the coffeepot on an open flame or on electric cooker plates. Do not add water in the device if it is still hot. Always keep the lid closed when the coffee maker is operating. Never use the coffeepot without the lid. Only customer service departments authorized by the manufacturer may carry out repairs on the device, as otherwise the guarantee entitlements will be null and void in the event of any subsequent damages. Improperly performed repairs can cause considerable dangers for the user. Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts. Only such parts will guarantee that the safety requirements are fulfilled.

11.3Sources of danger
11.3.1 Danger of burns
Warning
The water, heated in this coffee maker, the water tank as well as the warming plate, become very hot. Please observe the following safety notices in order not to burn or scald yourself or others. During brewing of coffee the water tank, plate, coffeepot and
filterholder with filter will become hot! Hot steam can escape. The device may still be hot after use due to residual heat. Please always test the temperature of the coffee, before
drinking. The lid must always remain closed during brewing of coffee.
11.3.2Risk of injury Warning
There may be a risk of injury. Do not use the insulated jug if it is damaged.
11.3.3 Dangers due to electrical power
DANGER
Mortal danger due to electrical power!
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or subassemblies! Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers due to electrical power: Do not operate this device if it has a damaged cable or plug, if
it is not working properly or if it has been damaged or dropped. If the power cable or plug are damaged, then they must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not open the housing on the device under any circumstances. There is a danger of an electrical shock if live connections are touched and the electrical or mechanical structure is altered. In addition, functional faults on the device can also occur.
Do not put the machine, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

12 Commissioning
This chapter provides you with important safety notices during the initial commissioning of the device. Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:

Please note
Examine the shipment for its completeness and for any visible damages. Immediately notify the carrier, the insurance and the supplier about any incomplete
shipment or damages as a result of inadequate packaging or due to transportation.
12.3 Unpacking
To unpack the device, proceed as follows: Remove the device out of the carton and remove the packaging material.

12.4 Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device against damages during transit. The packaging materials are selected in accordance with environmentally compatible and recyclingrelated points of view and can therefore be recycled. Returning the packaging back to the material loop saves raw materials and reduces the quantities of accumulated waste. Take any packaging materials that are no longer required to “Green Dot” recycling collection points for disposal.
Please note
If possible, keep the original packaging for the device for the duration of the guarantee period of the device, in order that the device can be re-packaged properly in the event of a guarantee claim.
12.5 Setup location requirements:
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the setup location must fulfil the following prerequisites:
Only use this coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from water splashes and any heat sources.
Choose the setup location in such a way that children cannot reach any hot surfaces on the device.
Do not operate the device under delicate furniture as the escaping steam could damage them.
Do not set up the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or near flammable material.
The electrical socket must be easily accessible so that the power lead can be disconnected easily, in the case of an emergency.
The installation and assembly of this device in non-stationary setup locations (e.g. on ships) must be carried out by specialist companies / electricians, provided they guarantee the prerequisites for the safe use of this device.
12.6 Electrical connection
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the following instructions must be observed for the electrical connection:
Before connecting the device, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your electrical network. This data must agree in order that no damages occur in the device. If in doubt, ask your qualified electrician.
The connection between the device and the electrical network may employ a 3 meter long (max.) extension cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The use of multiple plugs or gangs is prohibited because of the danger of fire that is involved with this.
Make sure that the power cable is undamaged and has not been installed under the device or over hot or sharp surfaces.
The electrical outlet must be protected by a 16A safety cut-out switch.

The electrical safety of the device is only guaranteed if the device is connected to a properly installed protective conductor system. If in doubt, have the house installation checked over by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer cannot be made responsible for damages that are caused by a missing or damaged protective conductor.
12.7 Warning notices
Attention
Danger due to hot surface! Do not touch the hot surfaces of the device. Danger of burns! Do not set or lay any items on the device.
12.8 Rating plate
The rating plate with the connection and performance data can be founded on the bottom of the unit.
13 Operation and Handing
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device. Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:

Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation, so that you can intervene quickly in the event of dangers.
Operate the device only with placed filterholder.
13.1 Display
H: Setting the hours Min: Setting the minutes On/Off: Start/Stop of brewing process, switching to TIMER mode Press On/Off button once: The device will be switched on and the brewing process is started. The red LED lights up Press On/Off button twice: The device switches to TIMER mode, the white Led lights up and the device will start brewing process once programed time is reached. 13.2 Before using your device for the first time
Operate the device with only 1,2 L itres of water (without paper filter and without coffee ground), as described in “quick start”. Clean the device afterwards.
13.3 Setting the clock
Plug in the device. Press Prog button and CLOCK lights up. Use the H button to set the hours and the Min button to set the minutes. The setting is validated automatically.
13.4 Making Coffee
Warning
Warning symbol: hot steam. Caution hot steam can escape at device. Risk of burns.
13.4.1 Preparations Fill desired quantity of water into the watertank. Check that filterholder is placed. Insert the permanent filter into the filterholder or fold the bottom of a paper filter with 1×4 size and insert it into the filter holder. Fill desired amount of ground coffee into the filter.
Please note
Do not fill to much ground coffee into the filter,otherwise the coffee grounds could overflow.
Close the lid of the device. Place the insulated jug on the warming plate below the drip stop. Plug in the mains plug.
13.4.2 Selection of strength of flavour
With Mode button you can select desired strength of flavour of the brewed coffee ( mild,
medium,
strong). The flavour depends on the swelling time of the coffee
ground. The selected strength of flavour will be saved.
13.4.3 Quick start
Please note
Rinse the insulated jug with warm water before use.

Finish the ,,preparations”. Press On/Off button, the red LED lights up and the device starts the brewing process with already selected strength of flavour. At the end of the brewing process, the device switches itself off, then the red LED goes out.
Please note
The device is stopped when neither the red nor the white LED light up. The amount of brewed coffee may differ from the amount of water as coffee ground
absorbs different amount of water depending on the amount and degree of grinding of the coffee ground The device is equipped with a drip stop system which enables you to serve coffee before all the water has dripped through. Quickly put the insulated jug back in place to avoid any overflowing. Do not fill hot water into the watertank. Never fill the water tank beyond top mark. Wait a few minutes before making another pot of coffee.
Warning
The warming heatsup during brewing process. Danger of burns. Switch the device off when you have removed the last coffee from the coffee pot.
13.5 TIMER mode
Finish the ,,preparations”. Press Prog button twice until TMER lights up. Use the H button to set the hours and the Min button to set the minutes for desired start time of brewing process. After this press On/Off button twice until white LED lights up, then the TIMER mode is activated. The device will start brewing process automatically when the programmed time for the TIMER is reached. Then the white LED turns off and the red LED lights up.
Please note
You can cancel the TIMER mode by pressing On/Off buton. The device is stopped when neither the red nor the white LED light up.
13.6 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
13.7 Safety information

Please observe the following safety notices, before you commence with cleaning the device: The device must be cleaned at regular intervals and limescale should be removed.

Attention
Switch the device off prior to cleaning it and unplug the plug from the wall power outlet. The water tank, insulated jug and filter holder with filter are hot after their use. There is a
danger of burns! Wait until the device has cooled down. Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. Do not scrape off stubborn dirt with hard items.
13.8 Cleaning
Remove the coffee grounds from permanent filter or discard the paper filter with coffee grounds. Thoroughly rinse the permanent filter and filter holder under running water. Rinse the coffee pot. The device can be wiped with a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly.
Warning
Do not clean the device when it is hot. Never put the device in water or under running water. Be sure to unplug the device before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock do not
immerse cord, plug or device in water or liquid.
13.9 Descaling
Depending on the hardness of water you should descale the device once every month.
Please note
If needed descale also the permant filter. Fill the water tank with one quarter of white vinegar and three quarters of water. Plug in the mainsplug and press On/Off button. Brew the mixture completey and then pour it away. Repeat the process until no limesale is left. Then brew 1-2 times 1,2 Liters of water and repeat the process if necessary until there is no noticeable odor of vinegar. Pour away the water.
Please note
Regularly decalcifying of your device will reduce the electricity used and prolong the life of the device.
The guarantee excludes devices which have stopped working or do not work properly due to lack of descaling.
14 Troubleshooting
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device. Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:

14.1 Causes and rectification of faults

15Disposal of the Old Device
Old electric and electronic devices frequently still contain valuable materials. However, they also contain damaging substances, which were necessary for their functionality and safety. If these were put in the non-recyclable waste or were handled incorrectly, they could be detrimental to human health and the environment. Therefore, do not put your old device into the non-recyclable waste under any circumstances.

Utilise the collection point, established in your town, to return and recycle old electric and electronic devices. If necessary, contact your town hall, local refuse collection service or your dealer for information.
Ensure that your old device is stored safely away from children until it is taken away.
16 Guarantee
We provide a 24-month guarantee for defects caused by production or material faults, beginning on the date of purchase. Our guarantee is valid for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. For all other countries, please contact us. Your legal guarantee claims as per Art. 437 ff. German Civil Code (BGB) will remain unaffected by this. You may exercise your statutory guarantee rights free of charge. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper handling or use of the product or defects which have only a minor impact on the product’s functionality or value. In addition to this, the guarantee also excludes parts which are subject to wear and tear; transport damages insofar as we are not responsible for them and damages caused by repairs which were not carried out by us. This product has been constructed for non-commercial use (domestic use) and its performance is designed to meet the corresponding needs. The guarantee only covers commercial use insofar as it is comparable to domestic use. The product is not intended for any other type of commercial use. In the case of legitimate complaints we may either repair the defective product or replace it with a defect-free product at our discretion. Obvious defects must be notified to us within 14 days of the product’s delivery. Any further claims are excluded. Remarque
Avant son utilisation s’assurer qu’il ne comporte pas de défauts visuels. Ne jamais mettre en marche un appareil détérioré.

N´utilisez pas l´appareil lorsqu’il est vide. L’appareil peut se dégrader.
Ne remplissez jamais le réservoir d’eau au-delà de la marque supérieure.
N’utilisez cet appareil que pour faire du café. Ne mettez aucun liquide (que de l’eau) ou de la nourriture dans l´appareil.
Ne laissez pas le câble d’alimentation à portée des enfants. Le câble d’alimentation ne doit pas être mis en contact ou
posé à proximité des pièces chaudes de l’appareil, d’une source de chaleur ou d’arêtes vives. Pour votre sécurité, n’utilisez que les pièces de rechange et accessoires d’origine adaptées à l’appareil. Ne débranchez pas l’appareil de la prise en tirant sur le câble d’alimentation. Ne posez pas la cafetière sur une flamme à l’air libre ou une plaque de cuisson électrique. Ne rajoutez jamais d’eau dans l’appareil quand il est encore chaud. 19.3 Sources de danger
19.3.1 Danger de brûlures
Attention
L’eau chaude dans cet appareil, la cafetière utilisée ainsi que la plaque de chauffage de l’appareil peuvent engendrer des brûlures. Tenez compte des indications de sécurité suivantes pour ne brûler ni n’ébouillanter personne: Pendant la préparation du café, le réservoir d’eau, la plaque,
la cafetière et le récipient de filtre avec filtre se réchauffent ! De la vapeur chaude peut s’échapper. L’appareil peut être encore chaud après utilisation en raison
de la chaleur résiduelle. Examinez toujours la température du café, avant de le boire. Pendant la préparation du café, veuillez tenir le couvercle

L’appareil ne doit pas être mis en marche si le câble électrique ou la prise sont endommagés, s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement ou est tombé ou a été endommagé. Si le câble électrique ou la prise ont été endommagés, ceux-ci doivent être changés par le fabricant ou son service aprèsvente afin de prévenir tout danger.
N’ouvrez en aucun cas le caisson de l’appareil. Il y a danger d’électrocution si on touche des raccords conducteurs électriques et si on modifie la structure électrique et mécanique. Cela peut aussi provoquer des dysfonctionnements de l’appareil.
Ne trempez jamais l’appareil, le câble d’alimentation et la prise dans de l’eau ou d’autres liquides.
Evitez les projections d’eau sur la prise.

20.3 Déballage
Pour déballer l’appareil procédez comme suit : Retirer l’appareil du carton et éliminez les matériaux d’emballage. Ouvrez la porte de l’appareil et retirer la feuille de protection interne de la porte. Retirez les accessoires qui se trouvent dans la chambre de cuisson et enlevez les
matériaux d’emballage. Retirez la bande collante de sécurité rouge à la surface de la plaque de fond. Retirez la feuille de protection bleue sur l’appareil.
Remarque
Retirez la feuille de protection bleue juste avant de mettre en place l’appareil sur l’emplacement d’utilisation, afin d’éviter les rayures et les salissures.
20.4 Elimination des emballages
L’emballage protège l’appareil contre les dégâts de transport. Les matériaux d’emballage ont été choisis selon des critères environnementaux et de techniques d’élimination, c’est pourquoi ils sont recyclables.
Le retour des emballages dans le circuit des matières épargne les matières premières et restreint le volume des déchets. Eliminez les emballages inutiles dans les points de collecte destinés au système de recyclage avec le logo «Point vert».
Remarque
Veuillez si possible conserver l’emballage original pendant la durée de la garantie de l’appareil afin de pouvoir emballer correctement l’appareil en cas de recours en garantie.
20.5 Exigences pour l’emplacement d’utilisation
Pour un fonctionnement sûr et sans problème de l’appareil, son emplacement d’utilisation doit être choisi selon les critères suivants :
Cette machine à café doit être posée sur une surface plane, stable et résistant à la chaleur et être protégée des éclaboussures et de toutes les sources de chaleur éventuelles.
Choisir un emplacement de sorte que les enfants ne puissent pas accéder aux surfaces chaudes de l’appareil.

Ne pas utiliser l’appareil sous des meubles sensibles, la vapeur d’eau qui s’échappe pourrait l’endommager.
Ne disposez pas l’appareil dans un environnement chaud, mouillé ou très humide ou à proximité de matériaux inflammables.
La prise de courant doit être facilement accessible, de sorte à pouvoir débrancher facilement le câble en cas d’urgence.
L’installation et le montage de cet appareil sur des emplacements mobiles (par exemple un bateau) doivent être exécutés uniquement par des entreprises / personnes professionnels qui garantissent les exigences de sécurité d’utilisation de cet appareil.
20.6 Raccordement électrique
Pour une utilisation de l’appareil sûre et sans panne, il faut observer les indications suivantes pour le raccordement électrique : Avant de brancher l’appareil il faut comparer les données de raccordement (tension et
fréquence) de la plaque signalétique avec celles de votre réseau. Ces données doivent correspondre, afin de ne pas exposer l’appareil à des dégradations. En cas de doute renseignez-vous auprès d’un électricien. Le branchement de l’appareil doit être raccordé au réseau électrique par un câble d’un maximum de 3 mètres avec des conducteurs d’une section de 1,5 mm². Il est interdit d’utiliser des multiprises ou des barrettes de prises multiples en raison des dangers potentiels. Assurez-vous que le câble électrique est en parfait état et qu’il n’est pas disposé sous le four ou des surfaces chaudes ou des bords coupants. La prise de réseau doit être protégée par une protection de 16A. La sécurité électrique de l’appareil est garantie uniquement lorsqu’il est raccordé à un circuit électrique avec un système de protection installé en toute conformité. En cas de doute faites vérifier l’ensemble de l’installation électrique par un électricien. Le constructeur ne peut pas être tenu responsable pour les dégâts causés par un conducteur de masse absent ou interrompu.
20.7 Avertissements

Danger, surfaces très chaudes ! Ne pas toucher la surface chaude de l’appareil. Risque de brulure ! Ne pas disposer ou ranger des objets sur l’appareil.

21 Commande et fonctionnement

Ne pas laisser l’appareil sans surveillance pendant le fonctionnement pour pouvoir intervenir rapidement en cas de danger.

21.1 Affichage

On/Off: Démarrer / arrêter le processus d’infusion, passer en mode TIMER
Appuyez 1 x sur la Marche/Arrêt (On/Off) : L’appareil est allumé et démarre immédiatement le processus d’infusion, la LED rouge s’allume.
Appuyez 2 x sur la Marche/Arrêt (On/Off) : L’appareil passe en mode TIMER, la LED blanche s’allume et l’appareil commence à infuser à l’heure programmée.
Appuyez 3 x sur la Marche/Arrêt (On/Off) : Le processus est arrêté et les LED rouges et blanches sont éteintes.
Prog : Réglage de l’heure et du TIMER
Appuyez 1 x sur la Prog : Réglez l’heure avec H et Min.
Appuyez 2 x sur la Prog : Réglez le TIMER avec H et Min.
Mode : Réglage de l’intensité de l’arôme. ( faible,

21.2 Avant la première utilisation de l’appareil
N’utilisez l’appareil qu’avec 1,2 L itre d’eau (sans filtre en papier et sans café), comme décrit sous «Démarrage rapide». Nettoyez ensuite l’appareil.
21.3 Réglage de l’heure
Branchez la fiche secteur. Appuyez sur la touche Prog et CLOCK s’allume. Utilisez la touche H pour régler les heures et la touche Min pour régler les minutes. Les réglages sont enregistrés automatiquement.

21.4 Préparation du café
Attention
Symbole d’avertissement : vapeur brûlante. Attention, de la vapeur brûlante peut sortir de l’appareil. Danger de brûlures !
21.4.1 Préparatifs Remplissez le réservoir d’eau avec la quantité d’eau désirée. Vérifiez que le récipient de filtre est inséré. Insérez le filtre permanent dans le récipient de filtre ou pliez le pli inférieur d’un filtre en papier (taille 1×4) et insérez-le dans le récipient de filtre. Verser la quantité désirée de café en poudre dans le filtre.
REMARQUE
Ne remplissez pas trop de café en poudre, sinon le marc de café pourrait déborder. Fermez le couvercle de l’appareil. Placez la bouteille isotherme sur la plaque de chauffage sous le système anti-gouttes. Branchez la fiche secteur.
21.4.1 Sélection de l’intensité de l’arôme
Utilisez la touche Mode pour régler l’intensité de l’arôme de café désiré. ( faible,
moyen,
fort). En fonction de l’intensité de l’arôme choisie, la poudre de café
gonfle pendant une durée différente avant l’infusion ; plus le temps de gonflement est long,
plus l’arôme est fort. La puissance aromatique sélectionnée est enregistrée.
21.4.1 Démarrage rapide
REMARQUE
Rincez la bouteille isotherme à l’eau chaude avant de l’utiliser. Terminez les «Préparatifs». Appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt, la LED rouge s’allume et l’appareil démarre le processus de brassage avec l’intensité de l’arôme préalablement réglée. Lorsque le brassage est terminé, l’appareil s’éteint, puis la LED rouge s’éteint
REMARQUE
L’appareil s’arrête lorsque ni la LED rouge ni la LED blanche ne sont allumées. La quantité de café fini peut différer de la quantité d’eau versée, car la quantité d’eau
absorbée par la poudre de café varie en fonction de la quantité et du degré de mouture. L’appareil est équipée d’un système anti-gouttes. Elle vous permet de servir du café
avant même que toute l’eau se soit écoulée. Remettez rapidement la bouteille isotherme en place pour éviter le débordement. Ne pas verser d’eau chaude dans le réservoir d’eau. Ne remplissez jamais le réservoir d’eau au-delà de la marque supérieure. Attendez quelques minutes avant de faire du café.

ATTENTION
La plaque se réchauffe pendant le processus de préparation.Risque de brûlures. Eteignez la machine lorsque vous avez retiré le dernier café de la carafe.
21.4.2 Fonctionnement du TIMER Terminez les «Préparatifs». Appuyez 2fois sur la touche Prog Taste jusqu’à ce que TIMER s’allume. Utilisez la touche H pour régler les heures et la touche Min pour régler les minutes en fonction de l’heure de début d’infusion souhaitée. Appuyez ensuite deux fois sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (On/Off). La LED blanche s’allume et le fonctionnement TIMER est activé. L’appareil démarre automatiquement le processus d’infusion lorsque le temps programmé pour le TIMER est atteint. La LED blanche s’éteint et la LED rouge s’allume.
REMARQUE
Vous pouvez quitter le mode TIMER en appuyant à nouveau sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (On/Off). L’appareil s’arrête lorsque ni la LED rouge ni la LED blanche ne sont allumées.
22 Nettoyage et entretien
Ce chapitre est consacré à des indications importantes sur le nettoyage et l’entretien de l’appareil. Pour éviter la dégradation de l’appareil par un nettoyage incorrect et pour son bon fonctionnement veuillez observer les conseils ci-dessous.
22.1 Consignes de sécurité
Prudence
Respectez les indications de sécurité suivantes avant de commencer le nettoyage de l’appareil : L’appareil doit être nettoyée régulièrement et entartrage doivent être éliminés. Mettez l’appareil hors circuit avant le nettoyage et retirer la prise de courant de la
théière de l’alimentation en courant. Le réservoir d’eau, le récipient de filtre avec filtre et la bouteille isotherme sont chaudes
après utilisation ! Il y a un risque de brûlures. Attendez jusqu’à ce que l’appareil soit refroidi. N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage agressifs ou abrasifs ni solvants. Ne grattez pas les dépôts persistants avec des objets durs.
22.2 Nettoyage
Retirez le marc de café du filtre permanent ou jetez le filtre en papier avec le marc de café. Rincer soigneusement le filtre permanent et le récipient de filtre à l’eau courante. Rincez la bouteille isotherme. L’appareil peut être essuyé avec un chiffon humide. Séchez soigneusement toutes les pièces.

Attention
Ne nettoyez jamais l’appareil pendant qu’elle est chaude. Ne trempez jamais l’appareil dans de l’eau et ne le mettez pas sous l’eau courante. Assurez-vous que l´appareil soit débranché avant de le nettoyer. Pour vous protéger
contre une décharge électrique, n´immergez pas le câble, la fiche ou l´appareil dans l´eau ou dans un liquide.
22.3 Détartrage
Selon la dureté de l’eau, vous devez détartrer l’appareil une fois par mois.
REMARQUE
Si nécessaire, détartrer également le filtre permanent. Remplissez un quart du réservoir d’eau de vinaigre blanc et les trois quarts d’eau. Branchez la fiche secteur et appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt. Laisser couler le mélange complet, puis le verser. Répéter l’opération jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait plus de résidus de calcaire visibles. Ensuite, faites infuser 1,2 L itre d’eau 1 à 2 fois et répétez si nécessaire jusqu’à ce que vous ne remarquiez plus d’odeur de vinaigre. Jetez l’eau.
REMARQUE
Le détartrage régulier leur de l’appareil réduit la consommation d’énergie électrique et prolonge la durée de vie de l’appareil.
Les appareils ne fonctionnant pas suite à une absence de détartrage ne sont pas pris en garantie.
23 Réparation des pannes
Ce chapitre est consacré à des indications importantes sur la localisation des pannes et leur réparation. Pour éviter les dangers et les dégradations il faut observer les indications.
Prudence
Les réparations sur les appareils électriques doivent être effectuées uniquement par des spécialistes agréés par le constructeur.

24 Elimination des appareils usés
Les appareils électriques et électroniques contiennent de nombreux matériaux recyclables. Mais ils contiennent également des produits nocifs qui sont indispensables au fonctionnement et à la sécurité. Ces derniers peuvent être nocifs pour les personnes ou pour l’environnement en cas d’élimination dans les ordures ménagères ou de traitement incorrect. Ne jamais jeter les anciens appareils avec les ordures ménagères.
Remarque
Portez les vieux appareils électriques et électroniques dans les points de collecte et de recyclage près de chez vous. Le cas échéant informez-vous auprès de la mairie, des services des ordures ou de votre concessionnaire.
Assurez-vous que votre ancien appareil reste hors de portée des enfants jusqu’à son transport définitif.

Controlli prima dell’utilizzo, che l’apparecchio non presenti danni esterni. Non metta in funzione un apparecchio danneggiato.
Nel caso il cavo elettrico o la spina sono stati danneggiati, questi vanno sostituiti solo dal fabbricante oppure dal suo incaricato al Servizio, per evitare pericoli.
Non lasciare l’apparecchio incustodito durante il suo funzionamento.
Non faccia funzionare il apparecchio, quando è vuoto. L’apparecchio può essere danneggiato.
Mai riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua oltre la marcatura superiore.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio esclusivamente per fare del caffè. Non introdurre alcun altro liquido (che acqua) o dei generi alimentari nel apparecchio.
Tenere il cavo di alimentazione fuori la portata dei bambini. Non avvicinare il cavo di alimentazione alle parti calde
dell’apparecchio e non portarlo a contatto da fonti di calore o spigoli vivi. Per la sua propria sicurezza, utilizzare solo accessori e ricambi originali adeguati del produttore. Non staccare la spina dalla presa tirando dal cavo di alimentazione. Non mettere la caffettiera sopra delle fiamme libere oppure su un fornello elettrico acceso. Mai rabboccare dell’acqua nell’apparecchio quando questo è ancora caldo. Durante il funzionamento, tenere sempre chiuso il coperchio dell’apparecchio. Mai utilizzare la caffettiera senza coperchio.

Indicazione
Una riparazione dell’apparecchio dovrà essere effettuata soltanto da un servizio Clienti autorizzato dal produttore, altrimenti decade ogni diritto di garanzia per danni che ne conseguono. Con riparazioni inadeguate possono verificarsi pericoli per l’utilizzatore.
Componenti difettosi dovranno essere sostituiti soltanto da pezzi di ricambio originali. Solo con questi pezzi vi è la garanzia, che i requisiti di sicurezza siano soddisfatti.
28.3 Fonti di pericolo
28.3.1 Pericolo a bruciatura
Avviso
L’acqua riscaldata all’interno di questo apparecchio, la bottiglia termica utilizzata e la piastra di cottura dell’apparecchio, possono scaldarsi molto. Osservi le seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza, per non scottare se stessi o altri: Durante la preparazione del caffè, il serbatoio dell’acqua, la
piastra di cottura, la bottiglia termica e porta-filtro con filtro si scaldano notevolmente. Controlli sempre la temperatura del caffè, prima di berlo. Tenga assolutamente chiuso il coperchio, durante la preparazione del caffè.
28.3.2Pericolo di lesioni Avviso
Può esserci il pericolo di lesioni. Non utilizzare la bottiglia termica se è danneggiata.

Pericolo di vita dovuto a corrente elettrica!
In caso di contatto con cavi o componenti sotto tensione, sussiste pericolo di vita. Di seguito osservi le indicazioni di sicurezza per evitare il pericolo dovuto alla corrente elettrica:
Nel caso il cavo elettrico o la spina sono stati danneggiati, questi vanno sostituiti solo dal fabbricante oppure dal suo incaricato al Servizio, per evitare pericoli.
Non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio quando il cavo elettrico o la spina sono danneggiati, se non funziona correttamente oppure è stato fatto cadere o è danneggiato. Pericolo
Non aprire in nessun caso la scatola dell’apparecchio. Se si toccano connessioni sotto tensione e se viene modificata la struttura elettrica e meccanica, sussiste il pericolo di scossa elettrica. Inoltre possono verificarsi malfunzionamenti dell’apparecchio.
Mai immergere l’apparecchio, il cavo di alimentazione e la spina nell’acqua o in altri liquidi.
Evitare spruzzi d’acqua sulla spina.
29 Messa in funzione
In questo capitolo riceverà indicazioni importanti sulla messa in funzione dell’apparecchio. Osservi le indicazioni per evitare pericoli e danni.
29.1 Indicazioni di sicurezza

Materiali d’imballaggio non dovranno essere utilizzati come giocattoli. Sussiste il pericolo di soffocamento.

Indicazione

29.3 Disimballaggio
Per il disimballaggio dell’apparecchio, proceda come segue:
Estragga l’apparecchio dal cartone e tolga il materiale d’imballaggio.
Indicazione
Tolga la pellicola protettiva blu solo poco prima che l’apparecchio venga posizionato nel luogo di posizionamento, per evitare graffi e sporco.
29.4 Smaltimento dell’involucro
L’involucro protegge l’apparecchio da danni dovuti al trasporto. I materiali per l’imballaggio sono stati selezionati in considerazione dell’ambiente e della tecnica di smaltimento e sono quindi riciclabili.
Ricondurre l’imballaggio nel circuito materiali permette di risparmiare sulle materie prime e riduce la produzione di rifiuti. Smaltisca i materiali per l’imballaggio, che non sono più necessari, nei punti di raccolta presso le “aree ecologiche” per il sistema di riciclo.
Indicazione
Conservi, se possibile, l’imballaggio originale durante il periodo di garanzia, per poter reimballare adeguatamente l’apparecchio, in caso di necessità.
29.5 Requisiti del luogo di posizionamento
Per un funzionamento sicuro privo di errori dell’apparecchio, il punto di posizionamento dovrà soddisfare i seguenti presupposti:
Questa caffettiera deve essere messa su una superficie piana, stabile e resistente al calore e protetta da spruzzi d’acqua e possibili fonti di calore.
Scelga il luogo di posizionamento in modo tale, che i bambini non possano raggiungere le superfici calde dell’apparecchio.
Non fare funzionare l’apparecchio sotto mobili sensibili, il vapore acqueo che ne fuoriesce potrebbe danneggiarli.
Non posizioni l’apparecchio in un ambiente caldo, bagnato o molto umido o nelle vicinanze di materiale infiammabile.
La presa dovrà essere facilmente accessibile, in modo tale che il cavo elettrico possa essere facilmente estratto, in casi d’emergenza.

Il montaggio di questo apparecchio in luoghi di posizionamento non stazionari (per esempio navi) dovrà essere effettuato esclusivamente da aziende/persone specializzate, se i presupposti per un utilizzo conforme alla sicurezza dell’apparecchio sono dati.
29.6 Connessione elettrica
Per un funzionamento sicuro e privo di errori dell’apparecchio, bisognerà considerare le seguenti indicazioni durante la connessione elettrica.
Prima di connettere l’apparecchio, confronti i dati di connessione (tensione e frequenza) sulla targhetta di omologazione con quelli della rete elettrica. Questi dati dovranno corrispondere, affinché non si verifichino danni sull’apparecchio. In caso di dubbi, chieda il suo tecnico elettricista specializzato.
La connessione dell’apparecchio alla rete elettrica dovrà avvenire al con una prolunga lunga al massimo 3 metri, srotolata con una sezione di 1,5 mm2. L’utilizzo di prese multiple o di ciabatte è vietato a causa del pericolo d’incendio collegato all’uso di queste.
Ci si assicuri che il cavo elettrico non sia danneggiato e che non venga posato sotto il apparecchio o sopra superfici calde o dai bordi taglienti.
La spina dovrà essere assicurata mediante un interruttore di protezione 16°.
La sicurezza elettrica dell’apparecchio viene garantita solo se ci si connette ad un conduttore di terra installato in conformità alle disposizioni. In caso di dubbio, faccia controllare l’installazione di casa mediante un tecnico elettricista specializzato. Il produttore non può essere considerato responsabile per danni, provocati da una conduttura di terra mancante o interrotta.
29.7 Segnalazione d’avviso
Attenzione
Pericolo dovuto ad una superficie calda! Non toccare la superficie calda dell’apparecchio. Pericolo di ustioni! Non appoggi o posizioni oggetti sull’apparecchio.
29.8 Targhetta di omologazione
La targhetta di omologazione con i dati di connessione e di potenza, si trova sul lato posteriore dell’apparecchio.
30 Utilizzo e funzionamento
In questo capitolo riceverà indicazioni importanti sull’utilizzo dell’apparecchio. Osservi le indicazioni per evitare pericoli e danni.
Avviso
Non lasci l’apparecchio incustodito durante il suo funzionamento, per poter agire rapidamente, in caso di pericoli.
Fare funzionare l’apparecchio solo con porta-filtro inserito.

30.1 Display
H: Impostazione delle ore
Min: : Impostazione dei minuti
On/Off: Avvia / arrestata la bollitura, cambia al modalità TIMER
Premere 1 volta il tasto On/Off: l’apparecchio viene acceso e avvia subito la bollitura, il LED rosso si accende.
Premere 2 volte il tasto On/Off: l’apparecchio cambia in modalità TIMER, il LED bianco si accende e l’apparecchio inizia la bollitura nel tempo programmato.
Premere 3 volte il tasto On/Off: l’operazione viene arrestata, il LED rosso e quello bianco si sono spenti.
Prog: Impostazione dell’orario e del TIMER
Premere 1 volta il tasto Prog: impostare l’orario con H e Min
Premere 2 volte il tasto Prog: impostare il TIMER con H e Min.
Mode: Impostazione dell’intensità dell’aroma. ( leggero,
medio,
forte).
30.2 Prima di usare la prima volta l’apparecchio
Fare funzionare l’apparecchio solo con 1,2 L itri di acqua (senza filtro di carta e senza caffè), così come descritto alla voce «Start rapido». Dopodiché pulire l’apparecchio.
30.3 Impostazione orario
Inserire la spina. Premere il tasto Prog e si accende CLOCK. Con il tasto H impostare le ore e con il tasto Min i minuti. Le impostazioni eseguite vengono automaticamente memorizzate.
30.4 Fare del caffè
Avviso
Simbolo di pericolo: vapore bollente. Attenzione, dall’apparecchio potrebbe fuoriuscire vapore bollente.
Prudenza, pericolo di ustioni!

30.4.1 Preparativi
Riempire la quantità d’acqua desiderata nel serbatoio d’acqua.
Verificare che il porta-filtro sia inserito. Inserire il filtro permanente nel porta-filtro oppure piegare il lembo inferiore di un filtro di carta (grandezza 1×4) e inserirlo nel porta-filtro. Riempire la quantità desiderata di caffè in polvere nel filtro.
Indicazione
Non riempire troppo caffè in polvere, altrimenti fondi di caffè potrebbero traboccare. Chiudere il coperchio dell’apparecchio. Mettere la bottiglia termica sulla piastra di cottura sotto la sistema antigocciolamento. Inserire la spina.
30.4.1 Selezione dell’intensità dell’aroma
L’intensità dell’aroma del caffè desiderata la potete impostare con il tasto Mode
(
leggero,
medio,
forte). A seconda dell’intensità dell’aroma selezionata, il
caffè in polvere si gonfia per lunghi tempi prima della bollitura; più lungo è il tempo di
gonfiore, più forte è l’aroma. L’intensità dell’aroma selezionata viene salvata.
30.4.1 Start rapido
Indicazione
Sciacquare il bottiglia termica con acqua calda prima dell’uso Concludere i «Preparativi». Premere il tasto On/Off, il LED rosso si accende e l’apparecchio avvia la bollitura con l’intensità dell’aroma dapprima impostata.
Alla fine della bollitura, l’apparecchio si spegne e poi si spegne anche il LED rosso. (LED rosso)
Indicazione
L’apparecchio è arrestato, quando né il LED rosso né quello bianco sono accesi. La quantità di caffè finito può differire dalla quantità di acqua riempita, in quanto il caffè
in polvere assorbe differentemente molta acqua a seconda della quantità e del grado di macinazione. Questa bottiglia termica è dotata di un sistema antigocciolamento. Questo vi permette, di servire il caffè ancora prima che tutta l’acqua sia completamente defluita. Rimettere velocemente la bottiglia termica indietro, per evitare un troppo-pieno. Non riempire acqua calda nel serbatoio d’acqua. Mai riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua oltre la marcatura superiore. Attendere alcuni minuti prima di ricuocere del caffè.
Avviso
Durante la bollitura, la piastra riscalda. Spegnere l’apparecchio dopo aver tolto l’ultimo caffè dalla brocca.
30.4.2 Funzionamento TIMER Concludere i «Preparativi». Premere 2 volte il tasto Prog finché si accende TIMER.

Con il tasto H impostare le ore e con il tasto Min i minuti per il tempo di avvio desiderato della bollitura. Poi premere due volte il tasto On/Off. Il LED bianco si accende e il funzionamento TIMER è attivato. L’apparecchio avvia automaticamente la bollitura quando il tempo impostato per il TIMER è raggiunto. Poi il LED bianco si spegne e il LED rosso si accende.
Indicazione
Potete terminare il funzionamento del TIMER, premendo di nuovo il tasto On/Off. L’apparecchio è arrestato, quando né il LED rosso né quello bianco sono accesi.
31Pulizia e cura
In questo capitolo riceverà indicazioni importanti sulla pulizia e la cura dell’apparecchio. Osservi le indicazioni per evitare danni dovuti ad una erronea pulizia dell’apparecchio e per assicurare un funzionamento senza inconvenienti.
31.1 Indicazioni di sicurezza
Attenzione
Osservi le seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza, prima di procedere con la pulizia dell’apparecchio: L’apparecchio dovrà essere pulito regolarmente e residui di calcare dovranno essere
rimossi. Spenga l’apparecchio prima della pulizia ed estragga la spina dalla presa a muro. Il serbatoio dell’acqua, il porta-filtro con filtro e la bottiglia termica scottano dopo l’uso!
Sussiste il pericolo di ustioni. Attenda che l’apparecchio si sia raffreddato. Non utilizzi detersivi aggressivi o abrasivi e non utilizzi solventi. Non utilizzi oggetti duri per grattare via i residui incrostati.
31.2 Pulizia
Togliere i fondi di caffè dal filtro permanente o gettare via il filtro di carta con i fondi di caffè. Sciacquare accuratamente il filtro permanente e il porta-filtro sotto acqua corrente. Sciacquare la bottiglia termica . L’apparecchio può essere pulito con un panno inumidito. Asciugare accuratamente tutti i componenti.
Avviso
Mai pulire la bottiglia termica quando ancora scotta. Mai immergere l’apparecchio nell’acqua oppure metterlo sotto l’acqua corrente. Staccare l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica prima di eseguire la pulizia. Per proteggere
l’apparecchio dalle scosse elettriche, non immergere l’apparecchio, il cavo o la spina dentro l’acqua o altri liquidi.

31.3 Decalcificazione
A seconda della durezza dell’acqua, si consiglia di decalcificare l’apparecchio una volta ogni mese.
Indicazione
All’occorrenza decalcificare anche il filtro permanente. Riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua per un quarto con aceto bianco e per tre quarti con acqua. Infilare la spina e premere il tasto On/Off. Lasciare bollire la completa miscela e poi versarla via. Ripetere la procedura fino a quando non sono più visibili residui di calcare. Poi lasciare bollire 1,2 L itri di acqua per 1-2 volte e ripetere all’occorrenza la procedura, fino a quando non si nota più l’odore di aceto. Versare via l’acqua.
Indicazione
Una decalcificazione del suo apparecchio riduce il consumo di corrente elettrica ed allunga la durata del suo apparecchio.
Gli apparecchi che a causa di una decalcificazione carente non funzionano correttamente sono esclusi dalla garanzia.
32 Eliminazione malfunzionamenti
In questo capitolo riceverà indicazioni importanti sulla localizzazione di malfunzionamenti e sulla loro eliminazione. Osservi le indicazioni per evitare pericoli e danni.
Attenzione
Riparazioni su apparecchi elettrici dovranno essere eseguiti soltanto da personale specializzato, addestrato dal produttore.
Con riparazioni inadeguate possono verificarsi gravi pericoli per l’utilizzatore e danni sull’apparecchio.
32.1 Cause malfunzionamenti e risoluzione
Problema
Il caffè cuoce troppo lentamente (più di 15 minuti) oppure non è abbastanza caldo.
Fondo di caffè nella bottiglia termica .
Possibile causa
L’apparecchio è pieno di calcare
Possibile soluzione
Decalcificare l’apparecchio, vedi capitolo «Decalcificazione»
L’apparecchio deve essere pulito.
Il filtro di carta è troppo piccolo.
È stato utilizzato troppo caffè in polvere.
Pulire l’apparecchio (in particolare la valvola di sistema antigocciolamento)
Utilizzare il filtro permanente oppure un filtro di carta della grandezza 1×4.
Mettere meno caffè in polvere.

Il caffè si è accumulato nel filtro e i fondi di caffè sono travasati.
La protezione da gocciolamento non funziona.
La brocca non è stata posizionata troppo a lungo sulla piastra di cottura durante la bollitura, in modo tale che il filtro non poteva essere svuotato.
È stato utilizzato troppo caffè in polvere.
La valvola antigocciolante contiene residui di caffè.
L’acqua fuoriesce dal L’apparecchio è difettoso. fondo dell’apparecchio.
Scollegare la spina di alimentazione. Mettere la brocca sulla piastra di cottura, in modo che il filtro si svuota. Pulire l’apparecchio. Mettere meno caffè in polvere.
Pulire la valvola (in basso nel porta-filtro) e premere cautamente alcune volte la protezione da gocciolamento..
Scollegare la spina di alimentazione. Non utilizzare più l’apparecchio. Rivolgersi al Servizio clienti.
Indicazione
Se non riesce a risolvere il problema con i passi sopra descritti, la preghiamo di rivolgersi al servizio Clienti.
33Smaltimento dell’apparecchio obsoleto
Apparecchi elettrici ed elettronici obsoleti contengono spesso ancora materiali preziosi. Essi contengono però anche sostanze nocive, che erano necessarie per il loro funzionamento e la loro sicurezza.
Questi possono nuocere alla salute umana o all’ambiente se vengono gettati tra i rifiuti non riciclabili o in caso di un trattamento errato.
Per questo eviti assolutamente di gettare il suo apparecchio obsoleto nella spazzatura non riciclabile.
Indicazione
Si serva dell’area ecologica realizzata nel suo comune di residenza, per la consegna ed il riciclo di apparecchi elettrici o elettronici obsoleti. Si informi eventualmente presso il Suo comune, il Suo servizio di nettezza urbana o presso il suo rivenditore.
Si assicuri, che il suo apparecchio obsoleto venga stoccato a prova di bambini, fino al momento della sua rimozione.
34 Garanzia
Per questo prodotto può contare su una garanzia di 24 mesi a partire dalla data di acquisto per vizi relativi a errori di produzione o difetti del materiale. La nostra garanzia è valida per la Germania, l’Austria e l’Olanda. Per tutti gli altri Paesi la invitiamo a contattarci. È fatto salvo il suo diritto di avvalersi della garanzia ai sensi del §437 e seguenti del codice civile (BGB). Per l’esercizio dei diritti di garanzia previsti per legge lei
