Congratulations on your purchase. For the maximum protection and comfort of your child, it is essential that you read through the entire manual carefully and follow all instructions. 
Pearl 360 is a baby/toddler car seat that complies with the new European regulation R129 i-Size. i-Size aims at increasing children safety in car by promoting UNIVERSAL ISOFIX installation, by supporting rearward- facing travel up to minimum 15 months and by improving protection for head and neck. Rearward facing position / Forward facing position
The car seat must be used rearward facing up to a minimum age of 15 months to guarantee optimum safety for your child. Maxi-Cosi recommends you use the seat in the rearward facing position up to 105 cm and max. 17,5 kg (until approx. 4 years of age). This makes it possible to improve the protection of the head and neck of the child, which is still very fragile at this age, very significantly.
You may install the Pearl 360 in a forward facing position when your child is older than 15 months and at least 76 up to 105 cm in length.
