Pro’sKit Phone Tester Model: MT-8100

The Pro’sKit MT-8100 phone tester is a tool used by installers
and repair technicians to test copper wire voice subscriber lines.
It is easy to use and comes with a range of features that make it
useful for testing and troubleshooting telecom lines.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Before using the Pro’sKit MT-8100 phone tester, ensure that it
    is powered by a fully charged 9V transistor battery.
  2. To test a copper wire voice subscriber line, insert the angled
    bed of nails into the cable or use the auxiliary RJ-11 modular plug
    to connect directly to the telecom jack.
  3. The phone tester features line voltage test, continuity test,
    and two-way hands-free amplified speakerphone for convenient
    testing and troubleshooting.
  4. You can store up to twelve 16-digit numbers in repeat dialer
    (speed dialing), plus extra number store in M1 button. The last
    number redial feature is also available.
  5. The PBX pause button and mute switch allow for more advanced
    testing and troubleshooting.
  6. The electronic switch for speakerphone/monitor volume control
    and automatic shut-off after five minutes of inactivity make the
    phone tester easy to use.
  7. The Pro’sKit MT-8100 phone tester is dust- and waterproof with
    drop protection and comes with a relocatable steel locking belt
