Product Information: Biron Pharmacogenomic Test
The Biron Pharmacogenomic Test is a comprehensive genetic test
that helps individuals choose effective medications and reduce the
risk of adverse side effects. It provides personalized information
about how an individual’s genes may affect their response to
certain drugs.
Option 1: Kit Shipped at Home
- Requisition: Fill in the requisition and give it to the
patient. - Kit Order: Order the test online at biron.com/pgx. The patient can
perform this step themselves or be accompanied by clinic
staff. - At Home Delivery: The sampling kit is shipped directly to the
patient’s home. - Sampling and Return: The patient follows the instructions
included in the kit to collect a saliva sample. They then return
the sample, requisition, and consent (if applicable) using the
provided envelope and drop it off in a regular mailbox. - Consulting Results: An email notification is sent as soon as
the results are ready (about 5 business days after the sample is
received at the lab). Log on to the Biron | BiogeniQ portal to
consult the report. A copy can be printed directly from the
portal. - Patient Access to Results: Inform the patient that they can
access their report by logging into their Biron | BiogeniQ
portal.

patient. - Kit Assignment: Go online to assign a kit to the patient by
following the instructions in the box. - Payment: Process the payment for the test.
- Sampling and Return: The patient follows the instructions
included in the kit to collect a saliva sample. They then return
the sample, requisition, and consent (if applicable) using the

Go online to assign a kit to patient by following instructions in the box.
Click on Online payment by credit card to complete the kit assignment. Enter the patient payment information in the secured «Stripe» window that appears.
Proceed to the saliva sampling by following the instructions included in the kit. Return the sample, the requisition, and the consent (if applicable) using the provided envelop. Drop it off in a regular mailbox.
An email notification is sent as soon as the results are ready (about 5 business days after sample received at lab). Log on to the Biron | BiogeniQ portal to consult the report. A copy can be printed directly from the portal.
